“Great stay”
The staff were all so warm, friendly and helpful. Room was big and spacious, the private pool was rather clean too. Although the breakfast was limited, the food was great. Location was good as it's walking distance to Golden Prawn Seafood as well as the Go Kart. However, there are a few things the place could improve on: - The room had so many mosquitoes and though they provided a plug in mosquito repellent and 2 small packs of mosquito repellent lotion, it wasn't enough. We had to get our own repellent as well as mosquito spray to kill them and we were itching the whole night, while trying to spray the mosquitoes and didnt get a restful night. - Room had a few stains on the sofa and we saw a few burnt marks on the coffee table, the ceiling had paint peeling off and the outdoor seats had some burnt marks too as well as stains. - The key to our room was a physical key and had only 1. When in the room, there's a card to slot to turn on the electric, lights, etc as usual hotels have. However, the card given was very big and inconvenient to carry around and it was only 1 card given. I am all for sustainability, but without this extra card to cool the room down, we noticed that when we first entered, the room was stuffy and super hot and humid and dark as well which would actually attract even more mosquitoes. - The wifi had very unstable/weak connection so sometimes alexa couldn't work. - Shower/tub water temp was unstable as well, and the pressure was rather low. - The sink was very impractical and whenever you turned on the tap, water would splash everywhere. - Our room that was given was a corner room, and it had a small garden/patio area outside next to the pool. However, we noticed a door there and when we unlocked, it lead to a small road behind the hotel. We felt a little unsafe as we were afraid someone could use a key to unlock from the outside too. - There were bars/clubs nearby and the noise was very loud up till 1am or so every night. The hotel provided ear plugs in the room, but it didn't help and the bass was so loud and hard we could feel the whole room vibrating. We really loved the service and room but these cons would make us reconsider if we would come back again.
