White Beach hotels & places to stay

we stayed here for three nights over cny. the room we had was very simple, but i am guessing it is the same as all the places along white beach. there were two double size beds in the room, a small tv and a washroom and that was it, but when you are at such a beautiful place as white beach, you don't need to spend time in the room other than for sleeping. the bathroom was basic and only had cold water and there was a small terrace where clothes could be dried. we booked through agoda and breakfast was included, which was generally good, but i got some food poisoning from the longanisa on one occasion as it hadn't been fully cooked through. the staff are great and very friendly. the biggest draw though, is of course the beach. it is a stunning stretch of white sand, far superior to that of nearby sabang and the vibe is far more relaxed. it was beautiful; to walk along the beach to the end of white beach or scramble around some rocks for another kilometre of glorious views and an almost deserted expanse of sand.

Value for money Room rate includes breakfast that the staff will serve at your preferred time that you can have al fresco, with a view of the swimming pool . Guests need not look for beach activities themselves as the staff will be the one to book them upon request, the price is the same or even lower than what is being offered to tourists in the main beach. Location It is a short 2-minute walk from the main beach, so guests get to have some privacy and quiet time away from the large White Beach crowd. Cleanliness Sheets smell of laundry soap and the room and bathroom were spotless when we checked-in. We were not allowed to check-in early or check-out late which is the reason for these. Staff Everyone was corteous and accommodating. Facilities The resort is a 2-star hotel so don’t expect 5-star hotel amenities. With that said, I believe the resort is one of the few in the White Beach area with a swimming pool.

Unlike the negative reviews here, my family enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff at the front desk greeted us with a smile when we arrived and all our queries were answered. Their marketing manager met us at Batangas Port, giving us further instructions in going to the hotel. Also, upon checkout, they assisted us in booking our return trip and in getting a tricycle which will bring us to Balatero Port. We didn't try their restaurant though as there are a lot of dining options to choose from along the White Beach shore. The room was big enough for a family of 5 and we did not have problems regarding the signal of TV cable. Mobile data has good coverage but similar with other hotels in the area, wifi is only available at the lobby/ restaurant area. Some points for improvement though - toiletries were not provided except for the bath towels and a tissue roll; water pressure is not enough to provide abundant supply of water for shower (which is understandable though due to the area).

If you are planning to stay somewhere in White Beach, Puerto Galera, look nowhere else. Dreamwave is the best choice. The rooms are very clean and smell really good. It is located at the beach front itself wherein fire dancers perform at night. The best part about Dreamwave is the customer service. The staff are friendly and accomodating. They helped me give a surprise for my girlfriend before our check in date. 5/5 will definitely go back.

After being disappointed at Sabang, we went to White Beach and booked a room at White Beach Hotel. Staff was so accomodating that she even accompanied us to the reservation areaq for the boat on our way home the next day. Just a few walks away from the white beach, it's very close to the bars and restaurant. Room was very clean with clear satellite TV. Aircon was so good that we even froze during midnight :D

We have great time at VM Beach Resort. Location is in front of white beach. I went here with my mom and to kids. I booked for standard room and so surprise and happy to get a big room..seriously BIG room with 2 single bed and one double bed (kinda funny though coz we're only group of 4- me, my mom, my 6years old son and my baby). When we arrived "Ate" is already waiting for us and she's warm and friendly. All staff are really warm and friendly. We have hot and cold shower. There's a/c. Everything squeaky clean. Though we're in front of white beach, it's surprisingly peaceful and quiet inside the room which is really great. We didn't eat dinner here though but we eat breakfast and my son love the pancake. I ordered BLT and happy with it. My mom ordered egg and cheese sandwich and she said it's quiet nice. Worth the price which is kinda affordable for me since I have been to other beach resort. We will be back here! Kudos to VM Beach Resort and staff!

Booked this hotel last minute with my boyfriend when we went to Puerto Galera on a random weekend getaway. Had a bit of a problem looking for the hotel, but the staff was kind enough to be on the phone with us and give us directions. We got disappointed when we were checking in on time as the previous guests staying in our room took around 2 hours to pack up their things. They gave us a temporary room though while we waited for the guests to leave. We appreciated their courtesy, but I hope next time Mendelluke double checks and makes sure that guests aren't overstaying for free and if they are, the next guests are informed about it so there's no overlapping. The hotel is just along the coast of White Beach, walking distance to all dining and drinking places. If you're planning on doing water activities in White Beach (jet skiing, parasailing, banana boat, etc.) and going out during the night, this is the hotel to book. It's cheap, easily accessible, not to mention we enjoyed staying in their attic room that comes with your very own balcony overlooking the beach. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in White Beach, but this is by far my favorite. There's just a slight problem with the mosquitoes in our little suite upstairs, but nothing that a mosquito repellant can't fix. I just hope the hotel would be kind enough to provide it to their guests in mini packs. Will definitely book again if we're on a tight budget and just want to be away from Manila over the weekend!

Our two days stay in hollywood palm beach resort on white beach puerto galera was really awesome.The first thing that i want to give an emphasis is that the people in the resort from the drivers,helpers,receptionist and manager were so nice and very hospitable and very accomodating,they won't give their guest any reason to be upset.The place is so relaxing,clean and it will give you one best place experience.It is not a beach front hotel but there is a 24 hour shuttle that will bring you to the beach anytime you want to and it will also drive you to any place you wanted to go.I have no regret of choosing the resort as the place to stay with while we are in peurto galera,my man feels the same way as i do....

The Apartelle de Francesca is in "White Beach", but it is not located directly on the beach but rather 300m away from the beach, near the main road of the village. Advantage: just a few steps away from the only shopping store of the village, and more quiet than the beach area. Disadvantage: you need to walk to the beach. The rooms were ok, spaceous and clean, but no refridgerator/mini bar inside. We bought an ice box, but this can be improved. I liked most the swimming pool with the 5 jacuzzi/mini pools, which is in particular good for small children as you always can find a minipool that fits the size of your child. The owners were very helpful, gave advice how to take a boat from Batangas, picked us up at Puerto Galera and in general took care of our wellbeeing. Puerto Galera and White Beach currently have the problem that no international ATM is available, so it is a bit difficult to get money when you run out of cash. Bring sufficient money. There are money changer everywhere. As ATM was not available, I did send money to myself via Western Union and picked it up at the beach WU station without problems.

White beach in PG is the perfect place for those whose intent is just to spend time swimming and lazing in a sandy beach. For fun but quiet surroundings, Villa Bienvenida is the best choice since it is far enough but walking distance from White Beach Resort and VM resort where the pub and nightlife is located (which last until 3 am, thus you won't be able to have a good night sleep because of the noise). I think the resort is reasonably priced at half priced of P1,788/night for two (since we were there in june, during low season) but would be considered too costly if its high season since ambiance is very simple, basic but clean. As advertised and delivered, hot and cold showers are there, towels, soap and tissue are provided, cable tv is working, staff are friendly and accommodating, food is delicious and reasonably priced but room is very basic with two queen beds and just a table with no lampshade. Aircon is working. If you are more after the ambiance of a luxurious hotel, Tamaraw beach resort in Aninuan (which is just 50 meters away and divides Aninuan from white beach by big rocks) is another option at same half price but has a swimming pool. But the beach perse in their location (Aninuan) is not sandy and has more stones and pebbles than white beach.

The room we stayed in was brand new. We loved everything during our 3 night stay at Pamana villas. our room had loads of power points...even on the deck. It had really nice linen and soft pillows, curtains, and fully equipped kitchen with rice cooker, jug and fridge. we could cook and eat at the table on the balcony. We had easy access to trikes and could walk to white beach in 5 minutes. Plenty of fruit stalls, eating places, barbeque and best of all Russels buko shakes just a few steps away. The owners were very nice, and very helpful. So glad we chose this place, on our month long vacation in the Philippines. it will be my only choice if we return.

The place is actually known to be Trival Cafe. I think they also own the Trival Hills Mountain Resort. The place is a treasure not only it is a value of money, the place itself is worth way more than it cost. It can be deceiving from outside but wait to look what's inside. This would definitely be my go to place in white beach. Although its a bit walk to the beach, it's still worth it. Also to tell the driver to either drop you in front of Palawan Express as its located across the street with a little walk or just simply say Trival Cafe. 😍

La Solana suites is a fine hotel in Puerto Galera White beach. There are not many decent hotels in White beach. This is one of them. If you have a bit more budget, probably I would recommend Marco Vincent. It is about 5-7 min walk from the beach. It is very quite at night yet safe. When you have drinks a bit, you might feel a bit far from beach but not that far. During day time until 10pm, they would offer Van drive to the beach. The staff is always having nice smiles and quickly respond to your requests. They do have a nice garden and a pool. it is better for guests if they could clean up floating leaves on pool more frequently. I stayed in single room. It is spacious. There is no fridge and security box in a room. I didn't eat any meal there. I can't comment. Overall, it is still a nice accommodation. I would recommend this hotel.

From arrival up to departure all the staff including Madam (the woman in the front desk) were very accommodating. They also orient us about the scam on tours and other places to visit. Maswerte pa dahil pwede kmi pumunta sa isa pang property nilang resort (near the parkway din pero pinahinatid pa kmi ni madam sa service ng resort) if gusto nmin mag swimming sa pool o mag billard. Malapit sa grocery store (ibaba lng ng condotel) at mga kainan.. 5-7mins away sa white beach (not bad...tahimik sa gabi). Maganda ung rooms 👍👍 and the price is right.... 👍👍👍👍 thank you PARKWAY!!

Located on the main street about 5 minutes walk from White Beach and one of the farthest hotels from the coast, it's on the side of the Tricycle's pool, so you won't have to go anywhere in Puerto Galera. The facilities are normal but well maintained. However, there is a case that there is Wi-Fi, but it can not be used at all when used by a guest in the next room. I want to let him install a router in each room. The owner is a wise man and a speedy man, so I hope for improvement.

We stayed here for 3 days. Victoria was responsive to our concerns before we arrived. Upon arrival, we were welcomed into the place. We were also invited to join their trip to Aninuan Falls the following morning. They treat us with great hospitality. Their staffs are also accommodating us nicely. As for the place, it is around 5 minute walk to the beach. The ambiance of their room is very nice. It is spacious, with comfortable beds, cabinets, and clean bathroom. They have a common place for their guess at the rooftop (dining tables are found here) which has a nice view of the surroundings (including parts of white beach and nearby mountain). They also prepare amazing breakfasts for their guests. Their breakfast can compare with those in the hotels, it has quality. During our stay, we had pumpkin soup, bacon, omelette, daing, watermelon, mango crepe, and some coffee. What you see is what you get. We'll definitely recommend Victoria's BnB to friends and go back here in the future.

The room was that small that I could touch both walls when I get up from the "bed", and it was 60$, there is no bed actually it's just a mattress on a floor. There is a bar/pub with a live music. Band play until 3 AM and have sound check at noon. So most of your day you listen to drums and guitar. There is a nice beach in front, with white sand, but there are 10 hotels in front of that beach where you can stay without any discomfort and much cheaper. I would not suggest this hotel even to my bitterest enemy!

Our stay was really nice! The rooms felt like home away from home, it was so clean and spacious. The breakfast was also like it was served at home. Third floor is great for recreational activities like billiards and social drinking. Ms. Victoria and her husband were so welcoming and hospitable, they and their staff assisted us well during our stay and even with our tours & activities. Will definitely recommend and return!

This is our second time to visit galera but to be honest, I enjoyed more this time. For Manalo's Lodge, it has a value for money quality. The room was big enough. It's a good for 4 room actually. And the price is really cheap. Their location is a 5 minute walk towards the beach. All in all, it was absolutely a great place to stay especially for budget travelers like us.

I stayed in Felina for 5 nights and don’t have any complaints at all apart from cold shower. The room was clean, personnel friendly and helpful. Only 3 min walk from the beach which is a good idea for families with kids and those, who sleep at night as it gets very noisy on the front line after sun set. If I go to White Beach again would definitely stay at Felina again. Although I didn’t stay at any other places and can not make a fare comparison, from my feeling this 1 star hotel worth the money I paid and left me satisfied.

This B&B is definitely one of the best lodgings that a person can go to if ever they plan to go to Puerto Galera. The owners and staff of the B&B are kind and courteous, the rooms are well furnished, and even if it’s not situated near the beach, it’s only 2 minutes away (walking distance)! Also, the breakfast is remarkable! If you’re planning to go drinking at night, they’ll serve you a proper meal in the morning that can definitely take away your hangover! Lastly, the price is definitely a bargain! Sure, it’s not SUPER cheap, but it’s definitely reasonable. If you choose to stay at this B&B, expect the following: 1. You will be staying at rooms that will make you feel like you’re staying at a hotel, 2. You will be served with a FREE breakfast meal that tastes amazing, and 3. You will be happily assisted by the owners themselves if ever you need any help.

We would recommend Victoria Bed and Breakfast for your stay in Puerto Galera. It is approximately a 7 to 10 minute walk from the beach. The place is suitble for sleeping since it is away from the noise coming from the beach during night. Ms. Victoria, the owner, is very accomodating and responsive to inquiries. The room is cozy, clean and well-maintained. They have a roof deck where the guests can hang out and eat and drink. There's a bar and kitchen in the roof deck. The breakfast served is delicious too. We enjoyed our stay here.
