Seriously, I almost cried when we left. We spent one day here and it was amazing. We live in the USA and they just don't have places like this where you can sleep with the doors open with the sound of waves crashing into the rocks just 30 yards outside your door. EVERYTHING about this was amazing. Well worth the splurge. Oh, and be sure to do the tasting menu dinner at the Chef's Warehouse. It was the best meal we had in our 15 nights in South Africa. And we had some very nice meals in Cape Town, so that says a lot.

Best hotel I've ever stayed at”
I've traveled to a lot of countries,but this is my first time in South Africa. I'm absolutely amazed by this hotel. Everyone is so friendly, the view is stunning, the service is unbeatable, and the food is delicious. Everything is also very well priced. I haddollars. 5-star couch dinner, with cocktails for the equivalent of $30 US dolars. That kind of money would only get me 2 McDonald's meals back in the United States. Your US money goes a long way here in South Africa. I love that I'm treated like royalty!

Tintswalo was a unique experience that should not be missed. The attention to detail and personal service aligned with what I would expect at a place in this price point. The setting was fantastic, feeling immersed in the ocean environment. The room itself was excellent as well - from the views, to the bathroom to the comfort of the bed - not a single complaint there! Highly recommend.

We stayed three nights and did not leave the hotel, despite it is a great location for a day drive to cape point. The genuinely warm and welcoming team made for a most pleasant and relaxing stay. They were happy to accommodate special requests and were noticeably attuned to the details.

Perfect location overlooking ocean. Personal feel to property. No real beach and pool is beautiful but small. Not much to do on the property and they should organize some activity such as walk to the Chapman's peak drive which is a nice and easily accessible walks. The 3 course dinner which is not included is the only food option on the property. Not impressed by the fact that dinner prices weren't reflected on menu and it should be Ala Carte.
