Wow! So great”
The location and hotel itself are both amazing! Yet, it is the staff that make the difference. They are so attentive and caring and really made our stay great. Breakfast and ‘cake of the day’ with a glass of great wine were fantastic and the art collection was super interesting. We were late to book and were in a lower room and it was great…. Upper rooms must be stellar.

Stop looking around and just book this place.”
I have to admit, my wife and I were in a pretty shit mood when arriving to South Africa. The airline absolutely shattered our moods. Not a good start for a honeymoon to say the least. The level of service provided by Elton, the operation manager (forgot to get his name), and rest of the staff really turned things around. When we were too tired to find a new dinner reservation due to our clothes being lost/delayed by the airlines, they called. Breakfast was amazing, the coffee superb, and the room nice and clean. The last, and most important thing to point out is their optional transfers and tours. Ismail honestly saved the honeymoon on our peninsula trip. I was hesitant at first to book not knowing the type of experience, or vehicle we would be in, but damn, i'm exceedingly happy with my choice to book it. I was also worried it might be weird if my wife and I didn't really get on with the guide (long time to be stuck in a car with someone you dont know). Ismail knew when to show us things, when to let us be on our own etc, worked out perfectly. Ismail also answered all my questions about South Africa ranging from history to current politics, absolutely amazing experience. I will add that he also ended up being our driver to Aquila, and from Aquila to Franschhoek (this is a much better option that booking transport through Aquila). If I knew I would of had this top notch of service I would have booked their sister hotels in Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. Likely the best hotel experience i've had in my life.

10/10 Experience”
This was the best hotel that we stayed at during our recent trip to Seychelles and South Africa. We had originally booked a big hotel in the Waterfront area but changed it last minute to have a more affordable option, and I’m so glad that we did! Absolutely beautiful hotel with a clean and modern room. The staff are some of the nicest people that we met in South Africa. The breakfast is amazing with both a continental breakfast and a made to order option which was absolutely delicious. The neighbourhood is about a 15 minute walk from the Waterfront and close to all sorts of trendy restaurants and cafes. Also, we booked the hotel driver to drive us wherever we needed to go which was a great safe option. The driver Ishmail is also a tour guide so can bring you to the wine region, Cape Peninsula, etc. Would never stay anywhere else!

Excellent Stay!”
We spent 6 nights at the beginning of November in the Look Out Suite and had an amazing time. We are a couple in our mid thirties who typically stay in larger five star boutique chain hotels (Like the One&Only) but decided to take a chance on Tree House based on the excellent reviews and exceptional value. We were not disappointed. Our room was huge with both a terrace and balcony overlooking the waterfront. It was extremely spacious with floor to ceiling windows, an extremely comfortable bed and was well stocked with high end local bath amenities. What set this property apart was the staff. Everyone went out of their way to ensure our stay was exceptional. From recommending activities to booking dinner reservations there was no request that was too much. Breakfasts were fantastic with a great selection of cold items (fresh fruit, cheeses, cold cuts, cereal and yogurts) as well as a fresh to order hot menu with lots of selection so we never got bored. My favourite part of our stay was

Excellent small hotel in Cape Town.”
This hotel is very centrally situated in Cape Town. The rooms are a good size , the bathrooms are large, the bed was very comfy. The Breakfast was excellent with real , freshly made coffee and an extensive selection of teas. In the afternoon there is a complimentary cake to have with coffee/tea - the latter being available 24 hrs. The staff and service were excellent! The only problem was the heavy traffic - neverending for 24 hrs a day - on the road to which our room was facing - we found that very disturbing - especially during the first night. However - we strongly recommend this hotel - maybe take some earplugs along!

Fabulous”
Attention to detail at this fabulous hotel is second to none. The staff were all particularly friendly and extremely helpful with tips and information for making the most of Cape Town. It was a little difficult to find the car park. Its entrance is on the street above the hotel, not the street that the actual hotel is on, but we found it after a phone call to the reception. Our rooms were amazing. Modern, light and airy with everything you could need. Incredibly chic. There were water restrictions which the hotel took very seriously. There was a bucket in the shower to collect excess water for the maids to use for cleaning. The swimming pool was topped up with water driven in by lorry from other parts of Africa. We were super impressed with the lengths that were taken. The hotel was about a 15 minute walk to the waterfront area which was a buzzing area with lots of restaurants and bars. We loved this small boutique hotel where nothing was too much trouble....

Perfect!”
We arrived jet legged and tired and were warmly greeted by Cindy and a refreshing beverage. Our room was spotless, the view of the city and trees from our balcony was so nice. After showering and a brief rest we were a short walk to the waterfront. Cindy and Hamzin were so helpful with directions and dinner reservations. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. I highly recommend The Tree House bzoutique Hotel!.

Great place, great service”
Staff are fantastic, they will do everything and anything for you. Breakfasts are fantastic and there is a good range. The hotel is a good walking length to the waterfront (15mins) and close to shops etc. Only a few minor niggles, TV doesn’t pick up many channels and those it does have are fuzzy or in another language (lots of working sports channels though), and the towels are a little bit small, can cover the two halves of yourself which is a bit odd when there is no bathroom door.

Amazing breakfast and great beds!”
Nice boutique hotel, with attention to detail. Staff is really kind and helpful. Good quality bed and pillows, good amenities, nice views, beautifully designed in a quiet district. A la carte breakfast is really to die for, outstanding quality, and they also offer a tea time with homemade cakes every afternoon, which is very nice! Totally recommendable. We only missed some hangers in the bathroom to dry the towels, and also the terrace should be cleaned every day. The birds are always around making nests and bringing something, ruining the spot, so in order to have a neat terrace to relax at, cleaning of this area should be really improved. Otherwise the hotel was very clean! We will come back!

Super Hotel, super Personal”
