The Rocks hotels & accommodations
A year ago, I went to Sydney and stayed elsewhere. In one of my adventures, I went to the Rocks and instantly fell in love with the place. During this trip, I checked out several hotels and among them, Holiday Inn Old Sydney fit every requirement that I had. Fortunately, my expectations were exceeded when I stayed here for 4 nights. I had a grand time (compared to my l...
Rendezvous Stafford Hotel in The Rocks is in a great location - a quiet street and a little hidden away, but still walking distance to the Harbour Bridge and to Circular Quay/Opera House. The rooms are huge with a kitchen, meals and lounge area included. If you are expecting views, book a harbour view room though - we couldn't see anything out of our window but a concr...
No free wifi in the room, only free wifi in the lobby. Check out time too early. Location is on the hill, if u come from Circular Quey, need to climb the stairs, so not convenient for those carry big and heavy luggages. Other than that, it's ok. Location is in the Rocks area. U can visit famous Pancakes on the Rocks restaurant, just a stone throws away. U can easily ac...
We celebrated our wedding in the Rocks, the Pier One Sydney Harbour was central to both our ceremony venue and reception venue, the staff were extremely helpful, they organised a car for us as it was raining, we stayed both the night before and the night of and the bar downstairs was open very late which allowed us to have drinks with family and friends. The rooms are...
I knew that this accomodation was above a pub prior to booking which was he reason for doing so. 7 min walk from the overseas passenger terminal and eight next to the harbour bridge. My favourite area in Sydney being the Rocks I would recommend this for someone or a couple that are free and easy and don’t mind noise. Though I had no problem sleeping at 1am. Shared bath...
Location, location, location. The hotel is very well located very in the ROCKS, close to the main attractions and to the Circular Quey which is a main junction for all types of transportation- train, ferry, buses, taxi boats within an old building, renovated very nicely, intimate and quiet, very clean. There a laundry machine amd dryer - very useful.
We had a fabulous stay at Sydney Harbour B&B. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was lovely and we didn't feel rushed. The staff were excellent, making us feel at home as well, to come and go as we pleased. The shared amenities were no problem at all. The B&B is 10min walk to Circular Quay with easy access to all public transport. A highlight ...
Location perfect to walk around historic Rocks area or into town. Good cafe Bitter and Twisted nearby makes up for no breakfast service. No room service at present but with the hotel facilities this doesn't limit the pleasure of staying here.
