Well-run hotel ”
The room was a bit outdated in decor but it was very clean, comfortable & functional. The breakfast has an amazing array of food for foreigners! The restaurant has an excellent menu. The spa is nice & reasonably priced. It is so hard to find a good hotel in smaller cities in India. This is a gem!

Nice stay and service”
I had a very good stay . The reception and service were very good. Room was clean and very comfortable. All the staff were courteous . Breakfast had lot of options and was good . Lunch was decent .

Room was all good, clean, bathroom also all good. We had dinner at hotel restaurant, ordered vegetarian briyani.. but there was very little or merely no vegetables in the briyani.. should have more varieties of vege food

Room was awesome, had a good sleep, restaurant had good selection of food, staff hospitality was great, particularly the front counter- navin Had a good time. Bar service was good. However need to review the gym n pool facility. Appears very run down. Otherwise no complaints.cheers

VFM Stay”
GRT is trusted brand and that was why we chose this place. Overall the experience was great. Breakfast options in particular were great too. We liked that they added local Madurai cuisine to the menu such as meen kuzhambu, chicken liver fry etc., along with continental food options. The rooms were clean too. The lobby was big and well maintained. Only gripe is that the area outside the hotel is rather lonely in the evenings and have no other restaurants or coffee shops - but this obviously isn't the fault of the hotel though.

Always the best experience at GRT”
We have stayed at GRT Grand, Chennai, a few times. Each time, the stay was for 3 days, and it had never been a disappointment. I have stayed in other hotels in Chennai too, and I never felt the comfort I feel at GRT, elsewhere..There is no other hotel that has excelled in hospitality and comfort and facilities as GRT Grand. Their food is the best. I am glad I found similar experience at Regency Madurai. Sadly, our stay was only for a day. Looking forward to more days of stay next time.

FOOD WAS EXCELLENT!”
There was a food fare when we were there and we absolutely enjoyed south indian dishes. The 'paniyaram" there is to die for. The friendly staff were extremely welcoming and warm. We will definitely stay there when we visit Madurai again!

One of the best hotels in Madurai”
GRT Hotel is one of the best in Madurai with luxurious stay. Only swimming pool is bit small and not that great. Rest things starting from food,room, spa and reception are great.

Must say that this is one of the best Hotels in Chennai. The hotel was highly recommended by our Driver from Trichy. In terms of staff, cleanliness and facilities I would rate Six star. However sadly to know from my driver, the hotel do not provide a proper shower for the drivers to fresh up.

Inroom snacks where the MRP is printed as Rs. 70 and the GRT price charged is 140 to 160 more than double is absolutely wrong and legally not right.MRP is the maximum retail price which is set by the government and at any cost no organization can charge any product above the MRP printed in the product. If we raise a complaint to the Labor department Madurai then the hotel will be sealed temporarily. Please take care and change this procedure ASAP.
