“Power Black Out”
Me and my mother booked a 1 night stay and checked in late around 7:30- 8pm. A staff asked about our booking and gave us the key yet asked for a 500php deposit. Went smoothly until reaching the room. I requested to have 2 single beds yet the room given to us was only having 1 bed good for 2 tiny framed people, provided only 1 towel and 1 bottle of water. So we requested the staff to have 2 bedded room. Staff says it's their only room for couples, no separate bed, so we have to accept it. anyways, it is just for 1 night. the extra bottle of water and the towel were provided eventually. The AC is manual and yet was installed at a height that we cannot easily reach. We needed to ask the staff to switch it on. When we got settled, my mother stayed at the room while i roamed around the resort, the rest of the resort vicinity and area was quite nice and acceptable, and the area is good for not-so-big gatherings. the coastline was clean. They have open cottages and shower facilities. When I went back to the room, my mother is already lying on the bed wanting to sleep. I tried to switch on the TV but it does not come with a manual on how to operate so I surrendered and got ready to sleep, as well. thinking of swimming early morning. 10 minutes of lying on the bed, a sudden loud thud of the AC came out and the power was out. BLACK OUT!!! I checked the outside of the room and confirmed no power. My mother went out to check and the staff confirmed no power in the area. The situation has been going on for many nights and the resort did not bother to be ready with a generator for those staying overnight. My mother felt the temperature was so hot inside the room, so we have to open the windows and open the door to let some air in. Other guests also went out to ask around therefore noise can be heard from the outside enabling us to sleep. The blackout lasted around almost 3 hours and our sleep was already interrupted so no sleep at all. we got up as early as 5am, went for a qu
