Value for money”
We stayed for 7 nights and thought this place was great value for money. Although nothing flash, the bed was comfortable, great shower pressure and the room has a toaster, kettle, microwave and a small fridge. Free use of washing machine and dryer which was a bonus too! Would definitely stay again

Nice stopover”
Place was clean and was quiet so couldn’t fault that. Staff were friendly, and the rooms had Aircon’s, which was great as it was hot at the time I visited. Had everything i needed and was close to everywhere I needed to go. My only complaint is that there was no door sign you could put up to stop them from servicing the room. I don’t like having to pack away and lock everything up every time I stay somewhere for more than one night and appreciate having a do not disturb sign to stop them from coming into the room. Not sure if other rooms have a door sign they can use, but my room did not. Would however stay again.

The layout and facilities are fine But the room had a serious lack of cleaning , bed area was infested with fleas , my arm and body was covered in bites after the first night , there were flies and moths along with cobwebs the lights and cupboard tops and blinds dusty , the rooms had no sound proofing so could hear Everything the guests could say and do , aircon was good , some noisy guests some nights of the week, The staff were friendly enough notifying me of late arrival procedure , but unfortunately the cleaning and maintenance of the place really ruined my experience

Room is spacious for family lack of cleanliness. I found bug in my bed, unfortunately I cannot attach the picture here. I have mentioned the same at reception. I suggest to go for other motel/hotel.

Quiet and Convenient”
Hotels in Canberra are rather overpriced, so if you are not a spendthrift and just need a room for a good night's sleep, then this motel is to be highly recommended. It is in the northern edge of Canberra, in a quiet spot in Watson, even though it is just off the Federal Hwy (which becomes Northbourne Ave). We had 3 nights there and slept in every morning. There is no restaurant, but our room had a good refrigerator, microwave oven as well as the usual tea/coffee making facility.

Convenient motel at reasonable cost”
We had stayed at Red Cedars Motel several years ago, In some ways this time it did not quite live up to our expectations, but in important matters it did. Disappointing that breakfasts were an additional expense, motel style on trays. We had only cereal/milk and toast. Last night a bit of noise from adjoining or upstairs unit but acceptable. Standard motel services like tea/coffee/biscuits and TV were very satisfactory. Shower cubicle did not have a screen or curtain so wet bathroom floor,

Clean, quiet and good value. ”
although the motel is not in the centre of canberra, it is very convenient to the dickson shops where there is a wide variety of restaurants. there were many asian fusion eateries and we had a really wonderful time deciding on where to eat..and a great meal too. if you have a car, travel to any part of canberra is not a problem from here. it was especially nice and quiet as it was off the main road.
