The location and facilities were satisfactory; however, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. The doona insert had a noticeable blood stain, which is a concerning hygiene issue. Unfortunately, this was only discovered on the second night, limiting the opportunity to address it with the hotel promptly. Additionally, upon arrival, it was evident that the floors had not been thoroughly cleaned, as there was sand present in both the living room and bathroom shower floor. The hotel advised that a cleaner would attend the following day; however, it was unclear whether this occurred, as the condition of the floors did not appear to improve. As we typically remove our shoes indoors, this issue was particularly noticeable and uncomfortable. Overall, while the property has its strengths, the standard of cleanliness did not meet expectations.
