"We have stayed at this hotel in the past as we come to Penrith annually for my partner's triathlon race. Last year we were very satisfied with the hotel and the location. This year whilst everything else was good and similar to last year, unfortunately our room was located on different wing facing the bar at the Penrith Entertainment Centre. Being Saturday night, suffice to say we were 'entertained' by the music from the bar and its crowd. Not exactly good situation given we had to be up by 430am for the race. We will definitely come back but will make sure the room will not face the bar. "

"We went to the Eminem concert at Sydney Olympic Stadium. We were in Sydney for 3 days and 2 nights. This hotel had a great combination of price, proximity to public transport and also across the tracks was a Westfield shopping centre. What made me choose it was it's proximity to the train station. It was literally on the other side of the road. As well as this, the Westfield Penrith was on the other side of the train tracks. This made it great for breakfast and dinner after getting on/off the train. I wouldn't recommend staying this far away from the city if you have never visited Sydney and intend on doing site seeing activities. It is 1-1.5 hrs away and requires a train swap. I would pay more for something in the city itself and use an electric scooter to get around much faster. Pros: Cheap price/new building/transport easy Cons: Very far from Sydney city/few issues with tiling grout and lifting tiles in our room/no pool or bar area"

"The location is great and very close to Penrith and other places including the famous Penrith Leagues Club. The staff were wonderful and the cabin comfortable and very good. The amenities including pool are good too. There is a walk to Penrith which started from the Holiday Village. I didn't mind being so close to the railway line as I am a heavy sleeper."

"We travelled to Sydney from Melbourne and needed a place to stay close by relatives near Penrith. The reviews were not great but we thought we would give it a go. The location and cleanliness of our room was surprisingly good. The rooms are a bit dated and requiring a little maintenance. The overall feel of the room and hotel was quite positive and given the price we definitely thought it was good value for money. We normally stay in 4 or 5 star hotels using motif or Hotes.com but this place is definitely 3 star and certainly very good value for what you get. We will definitely be heading back there."

"We chose this accommodation for the pricing as we had a wedding in Penrith and had to stay 2 nights. This facility was central to shopping and eating establishments. We had two problems 1 being the air conditioning and the other being the fridge. The air conditioning wasn't cool, checking the filters they had not been cleaned in some time, we cleaned the filters which didn't make a lot of difference but feel the positioning of the conditioner with it blowing into the side of a cupboard could contribute to the flow of the conditioner, our other concern was with the fridge freezing up to the point our drink bottles froze and exploded. Both minor issues! We had lunch on arrival in the bistro and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Would we stay there again Most definitely! "
