Palangan hotels & places to stay

as what the title said, me and my girlfriend felt so regretted when we realize we only booked here for just 1 night! And always been ask by my girlfriend if we could stay for another night regardless we already booked another room at white beach for the following day. We were greet warmly by the owner, Richard when he saw us walking to the resort.Then we were welcomed with a plate of complimentary welcoming fruits and drinks which is very lovely as we were exhausted from the trip from Makati to the resort. Also the Resort Manager, Paul , brief us about what can we do during our stay in Puerto Galera. while one of the staff, Marga, brief us about what can we do during our stay in Edgewater. To cut the remaining review short, The room - Tip Top comfort, just the soundproof are not that perfect. The facilities - they have spa and scuba diving, and also complimentary kayaking which me and my girlfriend enjoyed. The environment - perfect for a relaxing trip! enjoyed the starry night

for the price of a night in utopia we were blown away by the quality of the hotel, in particular the villa type rooms which surpassed all our hopes and expectations after three prior weeks of experiencing other hotels across the philippines. by far the best hotel of our trip, rooms were meticulously clean, and having worked in hotel managaement this isn't something i'll often say about a hotel. service was friendly, staff were always smiling and would go out of there way to help us or to answer any of our questions. food was outstanding, and both the food, drinks and minibar menu was of an excellent value. we didn't actually use the spa but the prices were very cheap! the only two minor complaints we had was that the red wine in the bar was kept in the fridge rather than at room temperature, and the shower in our room was a little too hot. these issues did nothing to compromise the experience of our stay though. a highly recommended place to stay especially for those looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the town - the resort currently only has 7 villa type rooms which are scattered around giving each guest space and privacy - great for couples.

Relatively cheap if compare to other hotels with this standard. Considering its accommodating staffs towards guests, a comfy bed, a very clean swimming pool & working hot shower, this hotel in my opinion is one of the best place to stay that's worth the money in Puerto Galera. As we arrived and check-in at the reception, we were greeted with friendly & welcoming staffs and they gave us cold water. It is 10 mins away from the city, so kuya Ogie the owner, suggested that we rent a motorcycle which costed us 300php/day. Overall, this is a great hotel considering the price which costs nearly as cheap as the price of a guest house but has the efficiency and quality of a proper local hotel, moreover their friendly polite staffs make you feel very welcome.

The hotel is located in an incredibly beautiful place, very well located. The owner of the hotel - a real polyglot, brilliant speaks several languages ​​at the expense of relatives - including Russian. Very much helped us several times during the rest - he organized a transfer, personally drove and showed us the best places for recreation, provided motobike. You can rent a complete set for snorkeling (good quality), a bicycle. Nearby is the shortest cafe. Real panoramas - even better than in photographs. The condition of the room is perfect. The Internet is excellent. There is a safe, an excellent air conditioning. The owner, by agreement, can cook a gorgeous dinner. The reality really surpassed our expectations. Highly recommended! We had our stay last April 20-22 to celebrate my birthday and to have the weekend off outside the city. Yes the resort is a bit expensive but it is all worth it! I enjoyed our stay overall especially my daughter, she really loved the pools! The view from our suite room was superb, the room was clean and nice, aircon is cold, with free towels and toiletries. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, they even offered to book our ferry tickets for us as we leave Puerto Galera with no charges just out of hospitality. The free breakfast is really delicious and offers variety everyday with free drinks as well. If you want to have a peaceful and serene vacation then this resort is for you away from the crowd and noisy white beach but still within reach just one tricycle ride and you can experience white beach as well in a flash! If I may just offer a suggestion, the restobar should extend hours so we can still chill having drinks while enjoying the peaceful night :) Highly recommended!!

Our whole stay in Encenada was a blast for me. Para sa mga nagtitipid it is the best resort for us. They accomodation rate was cheaper than any resort in puerto. Location, was the best! It is infront of the Palangan beach which has a scenic, peaceful and beautiful view. Para sa gustong magrelax, the best ang location nila, sobrang relaxing hindi crowded ang beach, Cleanliness, it was quite good. Hindi kasi sya hotel type na resort it is like tropical place more on kubo sila and kahoy type na hotel which we enjoyed! Depende na lng siguro sa taste ng bawat nagstay. Staff, are the best! Very accommodating and ma fefeel mo na alaga ka nila. Every thing you need they trying to provide for their guest! Especially tito joey and yung may ari mismo. Sobra silang maasikaso. Facilities, are fair. Para sa price, okay na din ang room. Very basic ang room type. Wag masyadong magexpect sa Room and Facilities as in very basic. Ang panalo sakanila the location, budget, and staff. 👍👍

My grandchildren enjoyed swmming at the pool and have our breakfast etc at the beachside/bayview place of the hotel. Wish that they installed hot shower in all their rooms. Accommodations is fine. Personnels are pleasant and helpful. At first, we thought that the place is nice but when we went to sabang and white beach place, then we realize that we made a good choice of Palangan.

in my opinion villa fernandez is the best location for me in puerto galera - i love the serenity & away from the noise of busy town of sabang. i love their big balconies overlooking the water, friendly staff, very clean & spacious. the price is reasonable & affordable. on the otherhand, if your a backpacker & into pub crawling, i won't recommend the place. you need a trike to get in & out so might be frustrating for a nightlife lovers but the good news is price of trike is so cheap p30 each way.

From the first view of the hotel it looks a bit old. However, the rooms with the ocean view are all new and the location is quiet and peaceful. The good: newly built rooms with great ocean views in a peaceful surrounding. Puerto Galera town is 20 minutes away by walking. The staff are friendly. The food is good and the view from the restaurant is great. Have the big pancake for breakfast. The things to consider: First of all, it is neither close to Sabang nor White Beach, which is why it is so quiet but it also means a tricycle ride to either if you want some night life. The staff are really nice, but a bit passive. Need WiFi? Tell them, as they didn't proactively tell me. Similarly with the house cleaning, I mentioned after two days that they hadn't cleaned my room to which they told me (finally) that if I needed it cleaned that I'd need to leave my key with them. The process wasn't explained to me at the beginning.

I stayed at this resort for a total of 6 nights after only planning on staying for 3. I have been traveling to and around the Philippines for the last 6 years and this new resort is definitely the nicest and best value you could find anywhere. John and Horger, 2 German cousins have designed and built this place to the highest European standards. Nice finishing touches in all 3 types of rooms show the attention to detail. The restaurant was excellent and they even prepared fresh seafood that I purchased at the wet market and cooked it exactly how I asked with just a minimum surcharge. Plans to expand are in the works and they do have a dive shop coming online. It's not beachfront, but it's a quick trike to Sabang or 15 minute drive to White Beach. Plus, they rent scooters by the day at a very reasonable rate and I enjoyed riding myself all around Puerta Galera. I actually enjoy the quiet & beautiful sunset views from the restaurant. Great swimming pool as well. I plan to stay again.
