(+) The place is great, it's spacious with many nice photo spots, and the staff is very friendly. I accidentally left my keys when I went home, and the staff quickly informed me and sent them via JNE the next day. It's definitely the best for the staff! 🫰🏻 Around the accommodation, there are many stalls and places to eat, so there's no need to worry if you get hungry or want a snack, and the prices are cheap, not overpriced. (-) The access road in front of the accommodation is a bit lacking, and it would be great if the bathrooms were given air fresheners to avoid a stuffy smell. Also, if possible, the ceramic tiles around the accommodation should be replaced with concrete because my friend slipped twice, and there were other tourists who fell due to the slippery tiles. 😌 Hopefully, this can be fixed and my suggestions can be considered. 🫶🏻

Staycation with family in the family room usually requires booking 3 rooms, but since here the room has 2 double beds, only 2 rooms are enough at a very affordable price. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable, the kids are happy because there are 2 swimming pools with water that isn't cold, there’s also Kopi Kenangan in the village area and a warung across the street, making it easy to grab snacks. In the morning, the warung in front sells fried snacks, village donuts, and gemblong, which are delicious and only around a thousand. The warung in front also sells food; I tried buying rib soup before checkout, it was quite good too, 25k for a lot of ribs, I was satisfied haha. It was so comfortable that I shared it on social media and many commented, even some friends immediately booked haha. Alhamdulillah, it’s great and very affordable. The only downside is one, the roads are severely damaged, even though there are many hotels and resorts along the way, can’t we just pitch in to fix it? hehe. Thank you, The Village Resort Bogor. Oh yes, before checking out, we played first by going through the village resort to Gunungjati Pancawati, it was quite nice to relax while eating surrounded by teak trees, with an entrance fee of 10k and the food prices are very affordable, overall it was fun.

For the price I paid, I am quite satisfied with what I received. The bed in the room is sufficient for me, having one teenager and one small child. There are 2 single beds on the lower floor and another bed located in the mezzanine of the Prasanti type room (standard triple). The room amenities are incomplete. There is no water kettle in the room, no glasses or cups, and no free tea or coffee in the room. Fortunately, the office boy is very kind; I asked him to find a water kettle, and he brought one. The pillows are already thin; when I inquired about additional pillows, it turned out there was a fee of Rp.50,000. The cleanliness of the room is fairly okay, there are just some dirt in the corners near the bathroom. But the mattress and sheets are clean and odorless. The bathroom door can't be closed properly, the faucet at the handwashing area also cannot be closed properly, and when used, water splashes everywhere. The facilities around the resort are considered good. The swimming pool is clean, but the area around it is somewhat dirty because of many leaves and someone vomited there yesterday when my child and I were swimming. The garden is well-maintained and clean. The air here is clean and cool, but not as cold as in mountainous areas; it is quite chilly in the morning. The check-in and check-out process had no issues. However, the receptionist staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. The walk from the parking lot to the room is quite far but still comfortable as it is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Since I took a package without breakfast, I did not try the hotel's breakfast. As for the location, it is actually not hard to reach and does not experience traffic jams, but the road to the location is severely damaged. Thus, vehicles cannot travel quickly. For sedan-type cars, it is better to think twice before coming here. The resort's security is also good.

“Hotel with a Balinese atmosphere in Bogor”
This is the second time staying at The Village Resort. For the second time, we chose the wrong room type. My husband does not want a room located on the second floor, so we decided to upgrade to a more expensive room type than the one we chose previously, which obviously added to the cost. The rules here are very strict. Check-in really has to wait until 2 PM, even though all the rooms are ready. We even had to look for staff ourselves to help carry our things to the room, as there were no staff on standby in the lobby. The hotel employees and staff are friendly and helpful if we ask for assistance, but they are hard to find. Moreover, there is no phone in the room to contact the receptionist. I borrowed a set of dining utensils (1 plate, 1 bowl, and 1 spoon) for a fee of Rp. 10,000. The room is clean, the mattress is clean, the towels are fairly clean, but the smell is not pleasant. There is no bottled water provided in the room, but there is a kettle, and there is a dispenser in the corner for self-refilling. The swimming pool is not very clean, perhaps because there is no pump. The area around the pool is also somewhat dirty because there are many dry leaves, and during my stay, it was never swept. Breakfast is a buffet style, with green bean porridge, white rice, fried chicken, fried vermicelli, sambal, lontong, pumpkin vegetables, and crackers. For the kids, there is bread and several types of jam. Drinks include tea, coffee, orange juice, and plain water. The taste is not very good. Because I booked via Agoda, even though I have paid for the upgrade, the breakfast quota is still for 2 people, so I had to pay an additional Rp. 50,000 for one extra person. The payment was made on the spot, and the proof of payment was photographed by the breakfast staff.
