Close to Canberra attraction, comfortable stay”
The atrium room was cosy, clean and relatively quiet. The bathroom is modern with floor to ceiling tiles. The free goodies back and mini bar is a great idea. The doors are heavy, and noisy when they self close. The room location was a little cumbersome through the labyrinth of corridors but okay after the second time to/fro. The swipe card reader will also catch you out - use the round black reader (not the grey one at the bottom). The only thing missing from the amenities is a swimming pool and a gift shop. The bistro/restaurant has great food and at Canberra prices (more than other capitals). It was about $35 for breakfast with two drinks, and the food was plentiful enough. The walk to the city centre takes about 10-15 minutes. The free bike hire is great and an easy way get around, with an electric scooter option ($25 for a half day). The staff are friendly and helpful. We were able to store our bags after checking out.

We had the snug sun room so as the room suggests it's a bit tight but comfortable for 2 for a short stay. Bathroom was nice. It didn't have an active exhaust fan but the humidity post shower disappeared quickly. Bed was good for us, we are back sleepers so semi firm mattress and low line pillows were great. It was a double bed which was fine for us but they didn't use a duvet cover, only two sheets which is irritating especially for those of us who move alot during the night, I don't like waking up to a face of direct duvet which likely hasn't been cleaned between stays. Block out blinds great. Breakfast was a continental buffet with good quality food but the only hot food was eggs to order and cook your own toast, also no espresso coffee included. Would stay again

It’s is usually difficult to find a hotel that is both nice in terms of design and convenient for business travellers. Ovolo Nishi has it both. Very nice design and very good for business. Rooms are nice and have perfect insulation. Perfect for sleep 💤. They are generous with snacks and free mini bar + free happy hours. I strongly recommend!

The BEST hotel hands down. Alexa & iPads in very modern rooms, very helpful staff, incredibly thoughtful snack 'loot bag', free candy near reception, free minibar including 2 beers and 2 wine cans, tote bags and matcha green tea! Incredibly beautiful building, and just the general atmosphere feels very well thought out. I didn't book breakfast, and when I asked them how much it would cost they just let me have breakfast for free! I also broke a wine glass accidentally and spilled wine on a bath mat, but the staff just let it slide and did not charge me anything! Only problem I had was that because I had a delayed flight I had to check in very late, at around 2 a.m, and there were no staff around despite me calling the reception phone number and emailing ahead. I had to wait half an hour, tired from a long journey until someone finally showed up. However for the price range and if you plan to check in at a conventional hour I definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel is super chic and trendy, probably a bit too trendy for us. We are a 50s + couple who were a little surprised to find the restaurant was strictly vegetarian and booked out so we had to dine out. Very comfy bed and great shower .

The hotel is very well designed and artistic . I love all the decors and facilities. The location is good and take about 15mins walk to shopping areas and restaurants. Nearby there is a lake where we could do outdoor picnic. Downstair there is cinema and restaurant.

This was our third stay at the Ovolo and this time the service was even better than normal! It's normally really good but this time all the staff were exceptional! We stay in the Creative Sun room and love the size and having plenty of light makes all the difference. Will be back next month.
