"My husband and I just wanted a picturesque waterside getaway. We booked at Pasadena for 2 days away from home. The hotel, we were told by the reception staff who checked us in, is just a year-and-a-half old. Our room had a view to the bush across the street and the rooms opposite us would have water views. A quick survey of the room finds me thinking it could have been better laid out, especially the shower and toilet. There is no vanity : the single sink adjacent to the wardrobe doubles up as a wash basin and vanity. The owner could do better if it offers guests breakfast from its existing restaurant on the ground floor. And perhaps a special price for staying guests so the restaurant can benefit from a larger clientele. "
