"I had a fantastic stay at North Sydney Harbourview Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and the view of the harbour was unbelievable. Staying in North Sydney was nicer, quieter and more relaxed alternative to staying in central Sydney, which was only a short taxi ride away in any case. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family, and will absolutely be staying there again in the future. "

"Glenferrie Lodge offers clean comfortable budget accomodation in a location that is a minutes walk to the ferry terminal at Kirribilli in North Sydney. The room was provided with tea and coffee, fridge, television and the bed was comfortable with clean linen. As long as you dont mind not having your own ensuite facility the shower rooms and toilets were also clean. No daily housekeeping other than emptying of bin and changing of towels if you want fresh ones."

"Had a function to attend at Kirribilli on Thursday and discovered the Blues Point Hotel as an option for accommodation for two nights. Down the road from busy (and expensive) North Sydney it's a pure gem of a small pub offering accom, great dining and a warm welcome. Great option for staying in Sydney with transport connections at the door (bus), ferry (down the hill), train at North Sydney or a cheap cab / Uber trip to the City. Recently renovated the pub offers only 8 rooms with facilities down the hall and no air con in our twin room. Roof terrace has fine views across to the City and up the Parramatta river to Balmain. (Bit hot and sunny in the arvo). Lovely 1940s architecture and fittings with a quiet lounge at the rear of the bar alongside the eating areas. Good value at 130 a night for a twin. One big issue is PARKING! No long term parking on the street nearby. All residential permits or 1-2 hours restrictions till 11PM or Midnight. So be warned - I was slugged $114.00 "

"I accidentally hit my head on a cupboard door and room service brought ice to my room straight away and offered to book me a taxi to the hospital. They called me every 30 mins to check on me. I would definitely stay at Vibe hotel in North Sydney again. The price was affordable and location very central. Comfortable bed. 5/5!"

"Overall I was very pleased with my stay at Rydges North Sydney Hotel. Although the hotel did seem a bit way far, but I think I was still good. The rooms were very spacious and I enjoy very bit of it. Oh, did I mention they have a buffet inside the hotel. Their buffet was delicious. I had a piece of catfish; it was marvelous like it melted away in my mouth. Other than the great buffet and room, I’ll think you will have a great stay and comfy satisfaction. "

"Pros: happy with the spacious units that came with kitchen, laundry, and balcony. Cons: unfortunate that the receptionist told me that 2 separate bookings cannot be combined into a single receipt. I’ll be staying 5 straight nights (1 night for 1 booking, plus 4 nights in another booking). It’s just that I’ve done this in other hotels before and they had no issues combining it into a single receipt, so I’m disappointed with that. Note: I think this is perfect for business travelers whose office is in North Sydney, but for tourists wanting to spend most of their time in Sydney CBD, then they should consider booking Meriton Suites from CBD area. Recommendation to hotel. We are staying 5 nights and did some groceries for cooking such as oil. We can ofcourse just buy the big bottles from the grocery. I would recommend that the hotel makes small cooking essential set (oil, soy sauce, butter, etc) in small portions which comes with the room, or these sets can be sold to people staying."

Sydney Hilton $100 Hawaii 5 star resort - $50 us - apartment in north Sydney $250 something doesn’t add up "
