North Bogor hotels & places to stay

Absolutely fantastic. All the staff were very kind and helpful with anything I required and if they didn't they find someone who could. Hotel was clean, rooms were clean, security was good- I felt very safe especially with the keycard security measure in the lift. The location was probably the best part about this hotel. It's right in the heart of Bogor City, sitting 100 meters from Botani Square, the biggest mall in Bogor. There are cheap food stalls just outside and they're very tasty and popular. If that's not your taste then you can go into Botani Plaza and eat at one of the many western franshises available. Be sure to try out the delicious Cireng in Botani Square too.

Comfortable stay for a good price. It is centrally located. Close to shops and markets. The staffs were helpful and polite. The tag of us$100 dollars were a bit high for our pocket at the time. But the stay was worthwhile. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. We've tried several hotels in Bogor in the past few years but I dare to say that pajajaran suites is the first to qualify as a winner hotel in Bogor.

i was actually got ugraded to a deluxe room. i had a great time staying at santika bogor. the room is spacious and clean, located back to back to botani square mall. the room service was excellent, good and delicious foods but the portion was a bit small for me. good place to stay for holiday and business as the wifi connection was excellent. the only thing i did not like is the fact that the rooms are not sound proof. voices and noises from the hallway and musics from the poolside were a bit disturbing. otherwise i enjoy my stay at santika bogor and i will definitely come back next time i come to bogor.

I really enjoyed my stay there. It was really easy for me to go to any part of Bogor because the location was very strategic. I didn't drive so it was really handy to stay at a place that was passed through by small buses (angkot). I asked most of the info about "how to get to" to the staff and they were all really helpful. One night, one of them even gave me a ride to one of the restaurants that wasn't that far from our hotel, but quite far for me to walk. The breakfast was not fancy, but enough for me. The TV channels were limited also, but hey, who wanted to spend their holidays only staying at he hotel watching TV? The famous mall "Botani Square" was only like 10-minute-walk, so it was not difficult for me to get some cash or extra snacks or some toiletries I forgot to bring. The hotel did provide soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes. Anyway, I would definitely stay there again if I come back to Bogor.

The location is very strategic, near Kebun Raya Bogor (Bogor Botanical Garden), Botani Square and not far away from Bogor Station. You wouldn’t worry if you feel hungry because it's surrounded perfectly by a lot of food merchants and restaurant. The room is huge, bed is comfy, clean and the interior is very cozy and comfortable. Would like to stay again in this hotel next time I went to Bogor for short getaway.

I arrived in Bogor after a long international flight and everything at the Grand Savero Hotel made me feel welcome. Despite checking in at 2 AM the staff was alert to all my needs and the room was well prepared. The following morning I enjoyed a generous breakfast buffet and several cups of coffee. (Be sure to include breakfast in your online booking - it's really a great value!) The room had better than average wifi connections and so I was able to get work done as well as contact the folks at home. The hotel is right across the street from the entrance to the Bogor Botanical Garden which is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year. Certainly well worth a visit. The hotel is also a short walk to the modern shopping mall at Botani Square where you can get everything you need to launch your Indonesian adventures.

For Indonesian standards this is a quiet place in big garden. It is more a hotelresort catering for groups and not a sociable hostel. If you want a quiet place and be more on your own it is probably perfect. pros: 1.ancot no.5 stops in front of the gate (24h) 2.dorms are comfortable and clean and good value 3.nice architecture and garden recommendations: 1.I booked accommodation including breakfast (Reis, egg,vegetable,water) it was served hot at 7.30h at the bed without request but cold when I was hungry at 9h. Although there was a buffet for group, I could only order from the menu (portions are small) and saw the food being taken away after the group had eaten. Why can't other guest take the buffet, too? There was so much left, probably thrown away? The juice could have been better. After 15% tax and service for the food, the prices are not as reasonable anymore, as it seems at the beginning.

Hostel Bogor is by far, hands down, the best lodging that you can find in Bogor. It's just a 10 minute walk from the immigration office. The owners, Ibu Ika and Bapak Agus were incredibly warm, welcoming, helpful, and friendly. They spoke fluent English and patiently let me practice Indonesian with them. They were like a second family and I was sad to leave. The most affordable lodging in Bogor (actually!), immaculately clean, private and secure rooms, and meals provided. They even brought us out into the country side to see a prehistoric site and have lunch with their family at a Sundanese village in Cianjur - one of the best experiences in Indo, hands down. Skip the hotel - 5 stars for Ibu Ika and Bapak Agus!!

If you are looking for a cheap budget but a comfortable, peaceful, clean hostel, you are in the right place. I was super shocked when I started checking the place—the rooms, bathrooms, lobby. My first thought is that it will be like some of the cheap hostels I’ve been which the showers dont work well, dirty bathroom, uncomfortable bed, but no. Cendana Mulia is far from what I expected. The bed? So soft and comfortable and relaxing. The bethroom is very very very clean. They showers are all working very well. And they even have a kitchen for the guests with free cooking oil, tea, cold and hot water, spoons, bowls, plates, pan, cups. And the sink is always super clean. The whole area is very well managed by the lady that runs the hostel. She really makes sure that the hostel is always in order, clean and tidy. After a guest checks out, the staff cleans the bed right away. The place is so quiet and peaceful. They also have a locker in the room with a cctv to keep the important things safe and to assure that no stealing will ever happen. Plus they have a very detailed “things to do near the hotel” and how to get to those places. This is by far, the cleanest hostel I have ever been which is also very very cheap. Most of the hostels and even HOTELS dont offer this kind of service that they give. I even think that it is too cheap for everything you will have during your stay. But, I think too that the lady is really just that generous and kind to offer a very low price for an outstanding hostel she runs. I could give 100 starts for this hostel. And will definitely going back next year with my boyfriend. And also.... they have a strong wifi both up and downstairs so you wont ever lose wifi signal :) Thank you very much for making my stay in bogor such a great vacation, Cendana Mulia Hostel!!! ♥️

The real place were nothing like in the photos. It was really gross and dirty. I stayed for 15 mins and decided to book another hotel and go straight away. There are fungus all over the bathroom, sheet was not replaced with the new one, pillows are dirty, only 1 towel available and it's an old one. People are screaming in the corridors, neighbours play very loud music. We felt scammed.

Definitely need to go for the deluxe room if staying here, the standard room was a tad too small. I changed to deluxe room on my 2nd night and the front desk person did not even want to charge me for it. How great was that! First thing first the rate they charge here is one of the lowest if not the lowest around Bogor City Center. Anyway the deluxe room was much more spacious and come with your usual Wifi, Aircon, Cable TV and Water Heater. The only con I can think of is there is no wash basin but for this kind of price you can’t possibly still complaint. The location here is also one of the best, you have your McDonald’s and Burger King right in front near the main road while Circle K minimart is just right next door and Dominoes pizza less than 5 mins walk away. Besides all this you still have your other local food option, shops and salons etc. Finally I got 2 words to sum it : “Hidden Gem”.
