Good value, fantastic location, friendly staff = great holiday”
The location of the resort is fantastic, 1st premise from the jetty it's a less than 5 min walk after you get off the boat. Having the jetty so near, the fishes are aplenty for snorkelling activities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. No worries about the luggage at all as they will help arrange everything both coming in and going out. Very accommodative & friendly, well done Mimpi team. The pool is fantastic with a superb view, lounge deck right in front. Only thing is the 'traffic' is heave as it's the first premise from the jetty - everyone walk past it and the rooms are rather compact (if you prefer bigger rooms). Nevertheless, rooms are clean with hot water shower - thus if you spend the whole day out on the beach/ at sea, it's sufficient. Highly recommended!

Had the greatest stay experience at Perhentian with Mimpi ”
Honestly the best part of Mimpi was their amazing team of crews, starting from the ones on servicing line to receptionist and even room cleaners. They were absolutely the kindest and most friendly people that you could ever ask for on a staycation, so attentive and helpful to all of our doubts and requests. The cleanliness and facilities were pretty nice as well. The one and only downside that has probably affected our stay comfort would be the brightness in the room, as we feel that the lights in the room are quite limited making the room feeling too dim

3D2N with add on package. Best service ever! Can snorkelling in front of the hotel as there’s a shallow water, safe enough to let the kids to try to snorkelling as a practice before went to the actual snorkelling activity. Our luggages was handled by Mimpi Staff, Also towel n water bottle drink was provided for snorkelling trip. The rooms was spacious, Clean water supplies and its a 24hours electricity supplies! Fridge with complementary drinks are also provided Room service’s food was delicious Just for the improvements: - Hot drinks only provided during breakfast - It would be nice if hot drinks also provided during lunch & dinner.

I had the most excellent stay here. I was asssisted by staff Amienul who has provided exceptional service throughout. The other staffs around were also very commendable with consistent friendly approach each time I met any one of them. Amienul also met my expectations & request when I enquired for a few things beforehand. He also took the liberty to accompany us all to board the boat back to mainland, granted that it was not a busy moment at that point of time. Upon arrival, the room & bathroom was very clean & exact to images & videos online. The breakfast buffet was good. The spa massage we had was affordable too. My group of 4 girls all felt very welcomed & enjoyed our stay here with amazing ocean room view as well as laidback entertainment all around during our trip. It was a memorable experience for us all.

Good hotel with excellent service, the staff helping us to carry out our luggage and beg from jetty to hotel, from start until end the staff name Aliff very helpful person and nice. Regarding check in hotel I already remark for early check in but still must wait to long because i have small baby if not its ok to me to check in like normally, then staff still helping us to check in early from the time stated must be check in, overall the best hotel and recommended out there to try it.

This is my second stay at Mimpi. I came here on March and come again on August. Never regret to choose Mimpi and I'm happy that I stay at Mimpi since the first time I go to Pulau Perhentian. The location is near the jetty so it's so much easier for me to bring my luggage. It's just that when I first came here, I was able to early check in, maybe because there weren't many guests in March, but the second time I came here, I had to wait until 3PM to check in. and also the second time I stayed here, the floor in the room had a lot of sand, even after I asked the staff to clean the room, the floor was still sandy. But I'm still happy to choose Mimpi, i doubt if there are any resorts or hotels that can beat Mimpi at its facilities, cleaness, etc.

3D2N Stay at Mimpi Perhentian”
We absolutely enjoyed our 3D2N stay here at Mimpi! Great breakfast spread, spacious room and easy access from the jetty. Everything you need on the island is within walking distance. However we had a tiny unfortunate experience with the housekeeping where we had 2-3 items (that weren't in the dustbin) somehow ended up being in their bag of trash. Luckily enough we got back to our room in time after breakfast while they were cleaning up and managed to ask if they had accidentally thrown away those items and retrieved them. Just a reminder for ourselves to keep any valuables stored safely. The staffs were helpful and issue is resolved, so all is well! Would highly recommend 😊

I am travelling with my parents. This is our first time at Perhentian and I think we booked the best hotel for this occasion for few reasons: 1) Friendly and helpful staffs from the start until end. All we need to do when we get to Besut is to come by the office and Lin helped us booked the boat to island. She helped us with our luggage and accompany us until we safely get into our boat. Same thing during our last day. Our luggage are taken care of until Besut Jetty where one staff is already waiting to carry our luggage to office. This just ease all things esp when you're travelling with 2 elderly group. Staffs are just friendly and informative all around. 2) Location wise - it's just adjacent to the jetty. So, we do not need to walk far and cross the beach. Plus point! There is a snorkeling spot under the jetty itself. So we do not need to walk far for snorkelling. Neither is it far to just observe in awe the many fishes in the crystal clear water from the jetty! Only a 5 minutes walk from the windmill hiking trail. Food stalls are 5 mins walk away room the hotel too. 3) Love the hotel itself - the ambiance, the colors, the wood finish. Room is a bit on smaller side for 3 people. Bathroom is clean, modern but a bit dimmed which makes it hard to see. We can feel sand here and there in the room but we understand cos it will be from beach. The best part of the room is the crystal clear turquoise beach view. It is everything! Will come again if time permits with other family members!

Mimpi was fabulous! Stayed for 2 nights. Perfect location on the beach, jetty. Superb staff who helped us with airport pick up, land transfer and then boat transfers ( both ways) , also arranged fantastic snorkelling trips. Huge kudos to the Chef and restaurant staff who dished up some fantastic pure veg fare for us, exclusively. Truly grateful.

The ocean view is the best. Although the price is a bit higher than the hill view but it’s totally worth it. You can see clearly the long beach especially at night. Where You don’t even have to go down there but still can enjoy the music and fire show from your room balcony.

Came at the end of the season and got a great deal. Definitely one of the very hotels in the area, clean, nice morning buffet (free breakfast), large clean pool, drinks and snacks restocked daily, good house housekeeping. Only complaint, our room us facing the forest and smells like garbage on balcony. Oh well, we just don't spend time back there.

We loved our stay so much and the location is perfect, right at the jetty. So you dont need to drag along your luggage in the sand 😆 The staffs were friendly and very attentive. The room was spacious with beautiful view of the blue sea. The toilet need a bit of cleaning up but it was not too bad. Breakfast was great. We had dinner at the hotel and the foods were amazing. Overall, everything was great.

Great stay for 2 nights, if you’re bringing trolley luggage this hotel is great as it is the first hotel after jetty, if you’re booking others then backpacks are the best , if not it will be quite difficult to push/pull your luggage on a sandy beach.

Comfy and clean stay ”
Price on the high side but that's the cost for clean and comfortable rooms in this island. From the jetty pick up to the hotel and back, staff was extremely nice and helpful. I also got a aromatherapy massage and it was very relaxing except for the hair pulling part and very strong mint(?) scent at the end. Breakfast was OK, but fruits were limited to 2 types and it tends to run out fast.

It is likely the best hotel on long beach”
It is hard to maintain on this isolated island and I must say that MIMPI have done good in providing facilities on this island. Room was good and clean. Bathroom was excellent. There was one issue with room, we were given two double beds which should accommodate 2 adults and 2 children (1 year and 5 years old) easily but we struggled to find space when sleeping on the bed - and I can tell we are not that fat (~83KG). One more issue with the room, we got room with nature view but if we open the sliding window for the terrace then there is a VERY BAD smell of the dump coming from the backyard. Please please please fix that! Another suggestion: we had one stroller but there is no step free access from the beach. Please add this to accommodate people needing this. Otherwise the location is super. Beach is awesome for kids. The swimming pool is also great. We had a very good time staying at this hotel, although very expensive.
