Great location. I was visiting Sydney with my teenage daughter to check out the universities. Perfectly located, extremely safe neighbourhood and located within walking distance to all many attractions. Plenty of places to eat out, the food in the hotel was plenty and of good quality. Lovely bar area served by friendly staff and very helpful and willing to chat to you about your day and offer advice on how to get to places. We were able to check in early and our luggage was held for us until our evening flight. Loved this hotel so much we have just rebook to stay again on our next visit in June!

Excellent service, clean and quiet”
An excellent place to stay, great staff, spotlessly clean rooms and no noise on level one what more can you ask for in Sydney. Located close to Darling Harbour and Central station only a short walk away. Exceptional customer service, everyone made us feel very welcome especially the fellow at the restaurant. This place really is a gem and we will be staying here again. We were very impressed as we have stayed a number of other places in Sydney that just do not compare with service, quality of the rooms and great service.

Great hotel & helpful staff”
We stayed at the Metro Aspire Hotel in January 2019. Our room was clean and recently renovated. The shower pressure was excellent. The location was conveniently located near Darling Harbour and Chinatown. It was a 15 minute walk to Central Station, Broadway mall and Central Park mall. It was a bus ride away from the University of Sydney. The staff were friendly and helpful. Elaine was especially nice and helpful! All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Located in Ultimo, which is about 7ish minutes walk to Chinatown and Darling Square. Has its own balcony but you can't smoke out there. The place is clean, everything works fine, didn't really have anything negative to say about the room we stayed. The quality of the service provided by the front staff is exceptional. We ran out of water and they gave us complimentary bottles.

Have stayed here a few times now, and we have found everything here to be exactly what we want. The staff are amazing! And the rooms large and ver clean. Handy to Darling Harbour, Aquarium and Maritime Museum and Circular Quay. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

GM IS VERY RUDE.”
Everything was great, the lovely lady in front desk has made me feel welcome the moment I checked in. It has all I needed for that specific say but I really must say the GM is very very rude. You can always say something with thesame message but his delivery was very unprofessional. I asked for help for my air conditioning/ heater in the room and when he saw the cigarette but in the balcony he Immediately said “I dont care if its santa clause, I dont care. I will check get someone to check the room every morning” LMAO how rude can you be. You dont have to say it that way. You can always say something nice and I got the message clearly. I work in a 5 star hotel myself and never met a so called “GM” talk to the guests like this. Even the most hard headed guests that come to our hotel DO NOT get thesamw way of talking just how THE GM of this hotel made me feel.. definitely wont come back because of him. Like I said, tell me something Ill get it, all good but DO NOT EVERY TALK LIKE THAT TO ANYONE AS IF WE KILLED SOMEONE IN THE ROOM. NO MANNERS AT ALL. Great job once again to the lady in front, If I do come back, it’s definitely to say hi to the lovely staff who made me feel human. Thank you

The staff are amazing. The food is great especially The Roast if the day. Tho it took a bit try ting to find it but once I found it it was great. A bit noisy at night sometime. Not far from the city. Woolies is around the corner. Paddy’s market is great it’s a 5 min walk from the hotel. Would stay here again.

Rose at the front desk was friendly, professional and attentive. The cleaners left my room very clean each day. The location was handy to all transport, Darling harbour and Central station. Very quiet too.

Perfect location but really noisy”
Stayed here for just a night with bub. Only a hop and a skip away from all the good food you could want in two days, but our room was situated looking over another set of hotels (or apartments, not sure) and it was so loud! In addition to that, the plumbing was extremely loud so every time someone used the restroom in another room, you could hear it (all through the night). That being said, the room was very clean and the hotel staff were helpful and polite. Had I stayed more than one night I would have requested a room change or something.

We loved our stay with a friendly and clean hotel. Their daily specials in the restaurant are excellent and the location gives you easy access to Darling harbour by foot and the rest of the city by local transport. A quiet area of Sydney and perfect for families, couples and business visits. Give it a go.

Seamless check-in (early too) and check- out, great and hospitable staff, clean room, comfy bed. Located just 10mins outside of the CBD and a short walk from the city’s top attractions, Metro Aspire is the perfect jump off point to one’s Sydney adventures. The surroundings are quiet at night, allowing for much needed rest after a long day. I enjoyed my stay immensely. Highly recommended.

'Aspire' is hidden away in a quiet street in a congested but highly convenient and accessible part of downtown Sydney. Room & en suite were spotless. Breakfast was room service & came on time. No brickbats & all bouquets.

Lovely room in a quiet area near to Darling Harbour. Some noise from other guests but the hotel was generally quiet. Nice reasonably priced restaurant in hotel, Chinese takeaway nearby and Hannah's pie kiosk on Harris St.

Exceptional”
Lovely staff. Rooms were very clean. The only down fall was I guess was very hard to sleep due to the fact was extremely noisy. The room next door swearing and fighting all night. Loud music. Constantly stomping on the floor. Other patrons yelling and screaming on their balcony. Could hear the Tv in the other rooms. Not the hotels fault but yeah. Minus all that, it would of been a lovely experience.

Great location, walls a bit thin”
Just a 10-15 minute walk to Haymarket/Chinatown, clean and comfortable room. The only thing that keeps me from coming back is how thin the walls are. Could hear every door slam on the floor and on one of the nights, someone was having a loud conversation that went on from 10pm-1am ish. Couldn’t work out where it was coming from!
