Love this place . They surprised us with an upgrade to family suite .. perfect opportunity as I was there with 3 young kids below 7yrs. Our unit was just in front of the pool and our family members were able to stay close ( we took 3 units ) and kids had lovely time to play together Breakfast was superb with good spread of choices . You can opt to eat in 2 of the bf sites interchangeable as long as it’s before 11am. Kids club - wonderful as kids below 10 will love the spacious , AIRCOND environment with quality toys. Outdoor have some animals to view BUT the ball wasn’t pumped up hence can’t play football. Housekeeping - ms Sharifah was a wonderful person who not only kept the room tidy, she was paying attention to the needs of the family by offering additional bottled waters to keep the kids hydrated ( first 3 days were super hot ). She was kids friendly as my eldest kept bugging her ( sorry) The person behind the line for housekeeping Was rather rude when I checked on the request status and she bluntly said we had made request earlier of the day. But she said someone is on the way ( Mr Sumaie- if I got the name correct) he came and he wasn’t giving us a pleasant look as if it was wrong to call out for water. If there are charges for additional water, kindy train your staffs to politely inform us rather than show displeasure when requests are made Mind you the time taken from request to delivery took almost 30mins Sadly the shaver provided isn’t sharp ( I didn’t shave for 3 days ) hence I struggled to have a clean face despite the 2 shavers provided .. endured pain despite applying shaving foam. Weighing scale woudl be a plus point coz it would encourage us to watch our diet ( just my opinion ) Lastly the beach which is away from lobby is way better as the sand is coarse towards the main strip. Sea water is great as you can easily walk in without fear of sudden dip. Kids friendly too. Kids stayed on the beach 9-1pm ( sun burnt) & proceed to the pelangi pool till 6pm Kindly be informed that you will require at least 20min in advance shoudl u require the help of a buggy service. Location - it’s at Cenang beach and you can walk out comfortably - turn right and enjoy the walk ( if you have kids who are active ) or else just order a grab and you are conveniently dropped off ( no need to hire car and find parking ) I would consider this place for my next holiday and do hope we could enjoy the same upgrade again. Wonderful staff, lovely place for families but could use an upgrade”
We just spent 4D3N with our two year old at Pelangi hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Their friendly and helpful staff in particular deserve special mention: everyone was courteous and went out of their way to make the experience perfect. One buggy driver even insisted on picking my hubby up directly from the parking lot because my son was so amped about the ride and couldnt wait to get on. Everyone from check in to the cleaning crew and the restaurant wait staff were like this. The room was also lovely; clean, comfy and beautiful. The facilities did feel pretty dated and definitely need a bit of a refresh... especially the pool area, with some of the kids play features not working properly. That said, its hard to complain because how many hotels offer such an elaborate kids pool area with the water slides and water guns, etc? We also thought it got a bit too dark around the pool area and a tad too warm at the lobby and Pelangi Grill restaurant. I would suggest that the hotel does something to adapt to the crazy change in climate these days... it will certainly go a long way. For families with kiddos, the Kiki Farm is certainly a nice touch - the animals were friendly and gentle, and the kids will enjoy feeding them. One concern we did have was the one of the goats seemed to have a broken leg and a duck had a broken wing... not sure what happened there. The Kiki Kids club is also nice, though perhaps more appropriate for younger kids. We didn't try the activities as my son is too young so I can't say anything about that. The food was generally okay depending on what you order though I wouldn't rave about it. Breakfast is decent. Overall a lovely experience and definitely worth the money spent. Will definitely come back the next time we land in Langkawi!

We absolutely loved this place, there are some minor suggestions but overall this hotel is fantastic and worth staying at. Buffet breakfast, 2 options, american and Asian, there is a slight difference with the selection of food and the locations, Both have great options, it just depends of your taste, they are also open great hours. Gym, great facilities but it is a little small, when it was busy it was difficult to do a workout here. The cardio equipment and weights are new, for a hotel this size it would be good if the gym could be bigger but it has everything you need. Location, amazing, right on the beach and a 10 minute walk into own. Pools, we spent most of our time at the adult pool bar Cascade Bar, the staff are amazing and the drinks are great, very friendly vibe there. Happy hour is from 12 - 3, it is a little unclear which drinks are part of the HH, so a separate menu showing the drink prices for those drinks specials would be helpful. We loved hanging around here, probably our favourite place of the hotel. There is also a kids and family pool which looked great for families. Shidi at the pool bar was always so helpful. Rooms, we got a pool room view, when we arrived it was quite hot, the rooms do get cool but it just takes a little time. The rooms are clean and have plenty of room. Cleaning is daily. Room Service, we were really pleased with the food, delivery, quality and price. Check in and out were super easy. The staff are all so willing to assist. There are buggies to get you around the hotel if you need and a tour desk to give great recommendations. Really recommend this hotel

Situated in a picturesque location, the resort had a lot to offer, from its warm and friendly staff to its tantalizing dining options. Let's delve into the details of our stay. The resort's staff deserves special mention for their exceptional service. With smiles that could brighten anyone's day, they were not only helpful but also remarkably easy-going. Their genuine friendliness made us feel like we were among friends rather than just hotel guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere that greatly contributed to our overall enjoyment. Dining at the American restaurant within the resort was truly a highlight of our stay. The meals were nothing short of excellent, satisfying even our discerning taste buds. Being strategically placed right by the beach, the restaurant provided breathtaking views that perfectly complemented the scrumptious food. The combination of good food and a mesmerizing vista made every dining experience a memorable one. However, our enchanting stay did come with a couple of unexpected encounters. During one of the house cleaning sessions, a little lizard somehow found its way into our room. To our surprise, we discovered it in the dead of night. Thankfully, the hotel staff proved their dedication to guest satisfaction by promptly assisting us in safely relocating the reptile outside. Another aspect that left a slightly sour note was the noticeable presence of chlorine in both the room's water supply and the pool. The overpowering odor and the discomfort it caused were aspects that we didn't anticipate. This was particularly disappointing considering the otherwise pristine environment of the resort. Beautiful hotel”
Stayed for 5 nights with our 2 sons in their early 20s (2 of us vegetarian and 1 vegan). large comfortable rooms and beds. easy walk to multiple good restaurants. Ate in the hotel spice market restaurant 2 nights - very good value and excellent food (lots of veggie options and couple of vegan options too - look for the veggie alternative symbol. Try Yasmin restaurant too across the road for vegan options). Breakfast was vast choice and amazing (all put on weight!). Every evening went to hotel beach bar for sundown cocktail on beach bean bags, Jeffry the bar tender was top notch! All the staff couldn't be more helpful and all genuinely looked happy in their work. Tried both the pools, the horizon pool had more shade and was good size for proper swim. We went in local holiday period and UK easter hols and didn't find crowded. The cascade pool we found too hot. We'd 100% recommend staying in this hotel.
