Five star hotel , six star service”
It was a short getaway trip with my wife for our wedding anniversary and wanted to find an accomodation with a nice location with good service and definitely cleanliness was our priority. We went to search for hotels and resorts in Agoda trip and decided to choose Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort because of the number of good reviews that it received. It was slightly beyond our budget but I would say we did not regret choosing this resort. This by far, was one of the best resorts that I have stayed, beyond my expectation. From the services to the staffs, they should be given a commendable reward for their friendliness and professionalism The location of the resort itself is near to pantai chenang where you have the access to all kinds of sports activities. Just 5-10mins walk away. It is also near to Chenang Mall and Plaza with flea markets and food trucks that you should try to venture. You will never get bored from the activities there. I would really highly recommend this place. We will definitiely choose this place again for our next Langkawi trip again. :)

A great family experience!!”
We stayed for 3D 2N, and booked 3mo in advance. Upon arrival, was greeted by cheery and inviting staff and ushered to the lobby seats where welcome drinks and cold towels were provided. Check in was done at the comfort of the lounge seats with the staff coming over and we did not have to queue at the reception. Immediately driven in the buggy to our room. The drive to the room was scenic, passing thru the many chalets. The compound was well taken care of and clean. The room was spacious for a family of 4. Overall very nice, clean and well maintained. We had a back door that opens up to a small balcony that you can step off and walk straight to the beach. The pool facilities was great and kids friendly with slides, water toys etc. Breakfast spread was excellent with western and local options plentiful. They even had masala tea! Overall our stay with Pelangi was very pleasant, staff was friendly and accomodating. Will definitely be staying again in Pelangi for our next visit!

We stayed at the room with pool view. The room is huge and the toilet is clean. I think this was the best room that we had considering that it has easy access to the pool and the beach! Breakfast spread was superb and they have 2 separate breakfast venue that you can choose. One is by the beach whey they served mostly American breakfast while the other one is nearby the lobby. This served both Asian and American breakfast. The swimming pool and mini themepark was great too! My kids enjoy it soO much! Staff was attentive and helpful too. There’s one night our door was lock because we went out from the balcony to the pool (not from the front door) inform the staff nearby and the case was resolved in just minutes. Overall, it was really a great experience for our family. Definitely will come back again in the near future! Without doubt.

Room was clean.. ask for more mosquito repellent for the room.. as it was rainy season sometimes it gets a lil mosquito-y .. remember to close balcony door at all times if u dun want any insects to sleep with u.. breakfast spread was good.. has a good variety.. 2 restaurants to cater to american/english breakfast and asian breakfast.. it has good teh tarek.. pool is a good size with dedicated water playground for kids.. choose ur room wisel so that its just a walking distance to the beach.. there is a gym tt u can use for ur downtime too.. we had fun..

It's my second time to visit Pelangi. All the staffs are attentive and very helpful. I must especially thank to duty manager Chong Langan for all his help, Chezza from front desk and housekeeper Japi for keeping my room clean at all times. Room is spacious and clean with huge bathtub. Basically all chalets are same size just different view. My twins love the pools with many slides and clean beach so much. There's 2 different sections of breakfast which my twins prefer the western food at CBA with stunning sea view. Where the other side serving international breakfast with plenty of varieties too but more crowded and noisy. At night we walk along the baech to watch fire show, kids like it so much. The show last about 30 mins. There's one restaurant along the left side of Chenang road named Safa Marwah serves delicious boneless chicken butter masala. The Cliff restaurant at right side of the road with sea view also a good choice for fusion food. There's also 2 Chinese restaurants at left side of Chenang road serving good food with reasonable price. There's one and only Chinese Hawker dishes on he left of the roadside handling by both husband and wife, we order one wanton noodle, one fried kuey teow and 2 barley cost us Rm 36, but the local only pay for Rm5 for each wanton noodle. Terrible Chinese hawker we encounter. We even had Chinese food at Kuah restaurant named Wonderful, this place is so crowded and long queue but the food is really lousy and taste bad. Their seafood is not clean properly. It's a nightmare to us, pls don't try!

The best hotel experience!”
Let me start of by saying you pay for what you get. The price isn't as reasonable as many other hotels or resorts nearby but it is by far the best I have been to. They have two different types of breakfast : Asian and western. Tried both and loved both. There are 2 swimming pools, both with kid friendly slides and one with a mini bar. It is only 3km away from chenang walking street and there's 24/7 buggy rides to your chalets as they're quite distant from the lobby and pools. The hotel is right by the beach. The staffs are friendly and very well mannered. They come to do a daily house cleaning and if you aren't home, they will come again to ensure your comfort is met. We got a chalet which was attached to one another which made it easier to be nearby our family. Overall is perfection! Will definitely come again.

A Langkawi must stay! ”
If you are looking for a great value, clean, friendly, beautiful and perfectly located resort, then this is it! I booked our room for the night before knowing we would be arriving early morning the following day so our room would be ready right away. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by staff as if we were family they had not seen in many years. Check in was smooth, breakfast was amazing with so many options. The beach is stunning with soft white sand and picturesque views out to the other little islands that make up the archipelago of Langkawi. We stayed in a Garden room (Chalet 50) which I highly recommend getting if you can! It's a 50 meter walk from the beach, next to the spa and moments away from the pool. Our room was very big and spacious and you could not hear a peep from the outside world. If I had to critique something, for me, the lighting in the room (especially the bathroom) was a little too dark which is a minor thing. Definitely will stay here again!

Beautiful, Serene and Spectacular ”
I travelled with my family on June 2020 and stayed for 3 days 2 nights. We booked 3 rooms. 2 lake view and 1 garden terrace view. Upon arrival, we were greated by friendly staffs and we were allowed to check in super early. We reached around 1pm to register and drop off baggage but we were able to check in right away which was a much needed perk as we drove from KL to Kuala Perlis hence we are super thankful for being able to check in early, get some rest and move on with the rest of the activities for the day. The registration was fast and they provided us with complimentary drinks. We were also given free upgrade for 2 of our rooms from lake view to pool view which was amazing and great. Thanks Meritus! :) The staffs were very helpful, friendly and polite. The rooms were beautiful! The pool side room had direct access to the pool. I've requested the 2 lake view rooms to be side by side and the staff has provided us with connecting rooms in the upgraded room which was very convenient for my parents and my siblings. The garden terrace room was private and quiet hence it was very suitable for my husband and I. The room was spacious and the toilet was huge. The bed and pillow was comfortable and the view were calming. Our rooms were at the opposite ends with the lobby being in the middle. Internally the hotel is huge and can be explored. They provide buggy services for transportation and commute of guests whose rooms are further in. The hotel located right at the Cenang beach hence we had direct access to the beach. Due to the Covid, the pools were still off limit. The access to beach was amazing with the view and the decorations. There is a restaurant called CBA which plays live bands in the evening. It was very beautiful and we enjoyed our beach time. We are provided with beach towels and there are showers in the pool area for us to wash up after the beach. The buggy services was good too. However , we prefer the room lighting to be more bright ( at least we can control the brightness ). More beach activities as the beach scenery is not that nice too. Perfect Holidays escape for Family or couple”
Check in services tip top with courteous. As our room were not ready due to late check out from guest before us. Front desk manager offer us with a VIP Hi-Tea buffet with selection of wines on the house. Satisfy with an awesome room decoration moving into our rooms. Surrounding environment, facilities, staff services & breakfast were amazing. Would highly recommended to adjourn the beach clubbing feel at CBA for a chill out with the local live band "Sapphire" all singer with amazing singing vocal, especially the male singer. Credit to this group. We'll be back!!! Thanks to all staffs(event house keeper & buggy driver were so friendly) of Pelangi Beach Resort of all the courteous and effort to make every guest a happy stay at the Resort. For sure we will be back for long stay here at Pelangi (Too bad this round only manage to book 1 night stay which due to high occupancy which due to International Ironman Event.

This is my second time at Pelangi Beach Resort and it didn't disappoint. I just love it so much I didn't want to leave. We had the beach front room and the view was just paradise. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The resort is so peaceful and relaxing. Location is great too. At the end of the main street so it's away from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was fantastic with so many delicious choices. Check in was pleasant with arrival drinks and a cool refreshing towel. Every staff member was delightful and so happy. I would highly recommend staying here whether you're a couple or a family.

Great getaway”
Check in process took longer than expected. We reached the hotel at 3.40pm. Check in supposed to be from 3pm. But when we arrived there were more than 3 families ready to check in too. So our check in process only done after 1 hour. They requested IC and mykid for every guest. Which to our surprise. Booked pool view room with add on extra bed, but the manager not happy when see we are family of 6 with kids age 7,5,2 and baby. So she asked us to upgrade to family room and pay extra rm700 per night (2 nights rm1400). We were explained the room is more spacious but same bed as what we booked. We refused to pay more after paid RM1k+ for initial booking and want to proceed with existing booking. Luckily one of the senior receptionist help to process the check in, and we just need to add rm165 per day for extra bed+breakfast. They assigned us room with pool view but the secons pool which more secluded. Quite disappointed at first but happy with this after than since we had more privacy. The room was spacious, staff were super friendly. The pool, beach and environment well maintained and in good condition. Breakfast not self service, you have to que to get the food which serve by the kitchen staff. So dont go at peak hour. Breakfast from 7.30 to 11am. So can plan your time. Unfortunately the animals farm already closed when we visited in March 2022. Only feel a little bit disappointed during check in part and the request we put during booking not fulfill (honeymoon setting and birthday setting). Other than that our family really enjoyed the stay, short vacay but full of good memories and super satisfied.

A perfect getaway ”
Nestled on Cenang beach and town. The pool is AMAZING coupled with the breathtaking sunset view. Plenty of sunbeds along the pool and beach. Room and bathtoom is spacious and clean. Umbrellas and mosquitoe coils are provided in room (life saviors!). Gym has quite alot of equipments as well. Easy to find and only 10 mins car ride to airport. Also, we got upgraded to beach view suite and we were well taken care by the hotels staffs and shoutout to Hassil, Burton and Intan with their great hospitality as this is a recovery trip for my friend who’s battling with cancer. Thank you!! We truly enjoyed our stay, good place to unwind and relax. Will definitely come back again! Thanks again!

This is my first time here at Pelangi and i totally love it. Just 5-10mins from Cenang Beach. I booked front beach room. Our room not too far from lobby, dining area & pool. The view is magnificent! From check in process - where we were seated and given welcoming drink and Staff were very helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast with person incharge helping you with what you asked/want. Food was delicious especially their roti jala and curry. 1st day we ate at Spice Market qnd next day at The Club. Beach was clean. We asked for buggy during the check out but was informed that it will take 30min, so we decided to walk because not too far from our room. Overall, my husband and I definately will be coming back here again!

It was simply amazing experience with Pelangi Beech Resort 7 star from me and my family, there is everything we need as a tourist and need not to go anywhere else. Private beech, spa, live music, water sports just on the beech in evening and most importantly the nature of every single person working here is making this resort as 7 star. Have travelled so many international destinations but this the best property have been to so far. Just a small suggestion to add some vegan food items in the menu rest you all are awesome. I am glad to choose this resort. They have room with superb view right in front of the Cenang beach. Their properties are complete even they have gym there. Their buggy service also superb, i always call for buggy because my room is far from lobby and restaurant. The food in the restaurant also very good. This place also very clean and the most important, the warm welcome we got once we arrive for check in. Super smooth check in experience, though the luggage also their porter bring along to the room. All we family needs in one place.. Attraction:pool, kids pool, beach, mini zoo, breakfast, dinner and selfie spot. Staff: Nice care by their staffs and very helpful and friendly.
