A one night stay at 'Marina Inn'”
"Marina Inn" as the name sounds, is misrepresentative. It is actually a unit within a cluster of condominiums called "Ocean View Resort", but is not quite a resort. The pros: The location is good, being in front of the ostrich farm, and its back is a long stretch of a beach. The apartment is generally well swept and the landlord appears to have made a genuine attempt to keep the place clean. The cons: A large dead cockroach was found on the floor behind curtains. The bathroom wooden door was warping very badly at its bottom, giving a very run down feel. A dirty rag was also left in the bathroom. Apart from 2 bars of soap, toilet paper, shampoo and a hairdryer was not provided. The bed is awfully uncomfortable with the feeling of spring which could actually hurt. It also does not help that the pillows do not feel like pillows, filled with lumps of very uneven cotton. The blanket is also too thin and definitely does not give the lovely 'cloudy' feel. The sofa appears improvised, with its cushioning taken from what might had previously been a mattress sliced in two, and placed atop of each other. Alas, the heavy condensation formed at the airway of the aircon, causing droplets of water to drip on the bed below. On opening the aircon for a quick check, it was discovered that its filter had not been cleaned for some time. The landlady was friendly, however certain remarks from her were rather insensitive, including that the unit was usually to accommodated Muslims, and that we were told to keep the place 'clean' and to dispose of any alcoholic drinks at a dumpster outside the unit. We complied, and even made the bed back to its original setting before checking-out, an odd process which only required the placing of the keys under the rug outside the unit. Final Verdict: There are a lot of improvements to be done to accommodate guests. Whilst its location is fantastically good, it's not the most comfortable place to stay and its condition does not justify its price

The name of the place is very misleading. This is in ocean view resort and not some sort of hotel. The owner or agoda has to be specific of the place! I have been searching from 9pm to 12am! And no one called me! I have to call agoda and ask for number!

Though the room is specious, it is very dirty. Very poor upkeep. The kitchen things like spoon, plates and pans are very old. Bathroom is terribly dirty. If one does not mind these than for the price of rental it is value for money.
