It was a good stay, some point to be pay attention to , such as : there were small cockroach in the bath room, the water heater sometime stop working suddenly so no hot shower available, the internet was not available in pur unit, so the staff told us to connect to other unit wifi router to get the internet access..and the connection was not stable too, the kettle also leaking at the bottom so we cannot use it at all.
to be fair, I didnt expect much but it turns out cleaner that i expected (its very important to us). few notes though, - washing machine couldnt work but we already entered the unit. they only informed us like 2 hours after. scheduled a meeting with the technician (thankfully while we are in the unit, so its safe) - washing machine filter definitely need to be cleaned up. we cleaned it up ourselves but hopefully its not too much to ask for the housekeeper to clean before we enter next time - convenience store in the lobby, very easy access generally had a pleasant stay. would recommend to people. its very comfy but staying in a unit means u gotta clean it up urselves, no daily clean up like hotel. but you get a working fridge, microwave, stove, washing machine, like in a home 😆
a very suitable place to stay for us who are being treated in the hospital. Complete facilities, starting from a kitchen with complete equipment, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, television and a large bed. The problem is the slow internet and the toiletries provided are only liquid soap. The mattress is quite comfortable even though the springs have sunk in a bit. Downstairs there is a minimarket that sells fruits and Starbucks. behind the apartment there are several good food places. The bus stop is across from the apartment and next to it is a complete pharmacy. Recommendations if you go to Penang to stay here again.

“Ideal Family-Friendly Stay on Penang Island!”
My family (5 adults and 3 kids) and I recently stayed at Mansion One Suites by Merlene during our visit to Penang, and it was a wonderful experience. From the start, the staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel at home. The suite was spacious, clean, and well-designed. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchenette was very convenient for our stay. The location was fantastic—close to George Town’s attractions, famous eateries, and local spots, making it an ideal base for exploring Penang. We also appreciated the complimentary parking. For our second car, the receptionist recommended using the Smart Penang app for street parking, with the RM6/day option allowing us to park anywhere on the island. Since it was a weekend, we only paid for Saturday as Sunday parking was free. Even though we arrived late, the receptionist waited for us to check in, which we really appreciated. The service from Merlene and her team was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Mansion One Suites by Merlene is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and family-friendly place to stay in Penang. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again!
