This resort has a fantastic location, right on the beachfront of Station 2, making it easy to enjoy both the beach and the pool. I stayed in Room 302 for 3 nights. The room was spacious, the bed was firm and comfortable, and the TV allowed mobile phone connectivity and Netflix streaming. Soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good sleep except for the loud music from the Dinner buffet. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite these positives, I’m unsure whether I would choose to stay here again. *First, the management isn't well-organised. I emailed them to book an airport transfer, but I didn’t receive a response for 3–4 days. The landline number listed on their website was unreachable, and I had to call the mobile number more than 10 times before finally getting through to the resort. Even considering their "soft opening" phase, this level of disorganisation is unacceptable. *Housekeeping & Maintenance One of the biggest disappointments was housekeeping. While the overall room cleanliness was average, the bathroom and shower area were a major letdown. -Tqoilet kept running after flushing, requiring multiple flushes. -The shower had black mold on the floor, dirty tile grouts, and the drain was clogged from the first day. I assumed it would be cleaned the next day, so I didn't request extra cleaning, but it wasn’t cleaned at all, so I had to request cleaning to be able to use the shower. -The showerhead was mounted too high with no angle adjustment, uncomfortable to use. -The bathtub plug didn’t work, unusable. -A towel rack was broken. -The refrigerator was incredibly loud, making a noise like a Siberian windstorm, so I had to unplug it for all 3 days. *Breakfast & Dinning -Breakfast was average. However, there were very few fruit options, and coffee or tea had to be requested didn't offer it first. Coffee from the large thermal container was terrible. It would have been much better if there is a self-service coffee machine like other resorts. -The dinner buffet was major disappointment too, food selection was quite limited. -The barbecue station was overcrowded, making it difficult to get any meat dishes. -I got the unlimited drinks, but even after requesting the same drink from two different staff members, no one brought it. After ordering from a third staff member and mentioning that the Coke Zero tasted terrible, I was shocked when they simply replied, "Because it's Coke Zero." I usually drink Coke Zero, but I have never tasted one as flat and watered-down as this. When I pointed this out, the staff member just walked away without responding. -I left dinner within 30 mins, but I heard the "Happy Birthday" song over 8 times, couldn't enjoy it at all. *Pool & Beach Facilities The pool wasn’t very big and not enough sunbeds. There was no separate kids pool, so most of the guests were families with children, making it difficult to relax. I barely used the pool for this reason. At the beach, the number of sunbeds was limited, unless you arrived before 9am, they were all taken. The resort offered free beach mats, but they weren’t very practical unless you planned to sunbathe. *Airport Transfer The airport transfer was convenient but inefficient. It wasn’t a private transfer, which I expected, but after meeting the resort staff at the airport, I had to wait over 20 mins for other guests to arrive. On departure day, my flight was at 2pm, but I had to leave the resort at 11am, arriving at the airport by 11:30am. Since the airport was small and lacked facilities and no WiFi, I had to wait for nearly two hours. This was probably another guest had an earlier flight than mine. The resort’s beachfront location is excellent, but due to the high number of families with children, it’s not ideal for those seeking a quiet, relaxing holiday. The management, housekeeping, and dining experience all fell short of expectations, making it difficult to justify a return visit.

I've went to Boracay 10 times since 2007 and every time I go, it's always at least 1 week or more. I've stayed in Station 1 - 3 only as I will always prefer the white beach more than all the other beaches in in the island after I tried almost all of them. Pros: Service & Friendliness - 11/10 (yes, all are very accomodating, responsive and very nice to talk to) Location - 10/10 Cleanliness - 10/10 Pool - 9/10 (very big and great, however why no pool bar? Breakfast Buffet - 8.5/10 (great selection, though some are really good, some are just ok, Hennan is just a bit better) Wifi - 10/10 (man, so good, and you get it on the entire resort (very fast speed, good for work as well) Cable TV available + Smart TV - 9.5/10 (very good) Gym - 7/10 (small sized room, but has treadmill, dumbells, it's decent, but Henann Regency beats them to this) Cons: - Smoking/Vaping area is only found in the entrance (versus Henann Regency has one near their main pool) - Limited front beach area compared to other top hotels - Due to limited frontage, it has no beach beds available yet - Not all of the facilities, rooms are available yet Overall one of the best (if not the best yet in white beach) we've stayed in the island since 2007! Definitely will come back!

We had an amazing stay at Mandarin Bay Resort & Spa. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with cold towels, refreshing drinks, and energetic reggae drum-style music, which set the perfect tone for our stay. The staff's service was exceptional, always friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure we had everything we needed. Our room was spotless, and the cleanliness throughout the resort was impeccable. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a great variety of delicious options to choose from. We also loved the pool, it was huge, clean, and perfect for relaxing or taking a swim. Everything about our experience was outstanding and definitely worth the money. We will absolutely recommend this place to others, and we can’t wait to return for a longer stay next time!

We recently stayed at the Mandarin Resort Bay and Spa in Boracay from February 12 to February 15, 2025, and had a generally pleasant experience. **Positives:** - **Exceptional Staff:** The team was incredibly accommodating, going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. - **Warm Welcome:** Upon arrival, we were greeted by percussionists, adding a special touch to our welcome. - **Early Check-In and Upgrade:** Despite arriving at noon, we were allowed to check in by 2 PM, earlier than the standard 3 PM, and received a complimentary room upgrade due to full occupancy. - **Impressive Pool:** The pool area was delightful; however, it would be even better if it were heated. - **Breakfast Buffet:** Our package included a breakfast buffet with a good selection. Enhancements in fruit variety, cold cuts, and desserts would be appreciated. **Areas for Improvement:** Understanding that the resort is in its soft opening phase, there are areas needing attention: - **Ongoing Construction:** Some facilities were still under construction, and our elevator was confusing; we had to press the 5th-floor button to reach the 4th floor. - **Room Cleanliness:** While the beds were comfortable, housekeeping could improve, especially under the beds. - **Bathroom Amenities:** For a 5-star hotel, the quality of bathroom tissue could be better. - **Children's Activities:** We scheduled a pizza-making activity for our 5-year-old daughter, which was initially accommodated but later canceled due to Valentine's Day preparations, leading to her disappointment. This really broke her heart because she was looking forward to this activity. - **Room Service Suspension:** Room service was suspended on our first night, which was inconvenient. - **Breakfast Service Delays:** On our last day, breakfast was crowded, and our eggs arrived nearly an hour late, after we had almost finished eating. More staff during peak times would help. Overall, I would rate our stay 3.5 stars. I would consider returning if these issues are addressed.

“WOW. the Best Hotel in Boracay!!! ”
First of all, I would like to say how smooth and stress free our Airport to hotel transportation by Mandarin Bay. We did not have to worry about our luggage. We got out of the Airport and we spotted the sign right away and was greeted and they took us to the Van right away. The van to speed boat and Van transfer was smooth and fast. No lines or waiting needed. We arrived at the hotel and was greeted with cold drinks and cold hand towels umm that felt nice!! the drink? 10/10. All the staff were polite and so helpful. They made you feel so welcome. We got upgraded to a Suite with the pool view which was a bonus! The room was spacious and clean! Bed and pillows are comfy. I also appreciated that they clean/take out trash twice a day. New fresh towels everyday was great since we did not have to wait for it to dry off. I love that there’s a-lot of lounge chair by the pool. Pool bar was pricey but was worth it because all the drinks and food i ordered was amazing! lastly, that BREAKFAST BUFFET at la fiesta blew our minds. I think there were at-least a hundred different options to eat. Different kinds of food from fresh sushi, traditional filipino breakfast , TAHO, soups, salad bar, omelette bar, pancakes and more, 10/10. We also went to la fiesta for the dinner buffet for P1,400+ and again It was worth it, that unlimited Prime Rib was amazing!! They also had live music which was a treat!! I dont know if they do it for everyone but we got a surprise dessert every night in our room with a cute icing word that says “goodnight” my daughter loved it! Definitely recommending this hotel especially if you have Kids. They're very family friendly! Staff are amazing! Location 10/10 and close to everything!! beach front, Large pool. honestly, I wish I could stay longer but im definitely coming back. Love love Mandarin Bay!!
