Kobe can easily be reached by fast train, allowing a short stay. During our stay we visited the earthquake museum and found it very interesting.

Most delicious beef in the world. Great location for hot-springs. Large outlet with good range of products.

Kobe is beautiful. The people are very friendly, and it almost has a European vibe to it with the old houses and small streets.

I found people in Kobe to be quite helpful if they spoke English, even if they didn't, they still did their best to help.

Clean interesting place and the City Loop Bus a good starting point to view the area. Lots of shops, eateries etc.

Kobe looks like an English port /town. Is clean with friednly people. The China town in Motomachi and Nankaimachi is interesting with many type of food and shopping.

Kobe is fairly small compared to the other cities close by. However, the Kobe Port alone makes Kobe as one of the best places to visit in the Kansai area.

Kobe is a good place to use as a base of operations for seeing other place through Central and Southern Honshu.

A great city to stay as a base to explore the Kansai area. We used a 4 day pass traveling to Hikone,Nara,Kyoto and Okayama.

This is my second visit to this prefecture within 2 years and I am still keen to visit again. Both trips provided different experience.

Kobe is a fantastic haven for foodies, with very accessible activities (i.e., hiking, water sports, skiing, hot springs) nearby.

We had a short stay in Kobe. Hence, we didn't manage to explore the city entirely. Nonetheless, the city has good shopping spots and friendly people.

Kobe beef is very famous but doesn't offer in many restaurants. Even thought they have, it isn't value for money.

The many museums can keep you occupied for hours. Kobe beef at steakland is really affordable and delicious(get the lunch time promotion - cheaper but good)

It is a great habour city. The shopping area is great and the price are all reasonable. The uphill area has great city view.

walk around the old residential area in kitano. see the nicely designed houses with different themes from different countries.

It is place to spend a couple of days. There are some nice historical buildings and wineries to visit around Kobe.

A little bit far from Osaka however there are so many good restaurants. Different from Osaka and you can enjoy there.

I only stay one night in Kobe, didn't have a change to discover it more; however, I went to a great Onsen near Kobe, called Arima.

Kobe serves as the second major city within the Kansai region, right after Osaka. I came from Hiroshima which is kind like the countryside and was totally impressed with Kobe's western style.

Kobe is a lovely place to visit for a short while . It is surrounded by Mountains which has many tourist places to go and visit which when you get up there offers you panoramic views of the port and surrounding areas which is really beautiful.

Kobe is a large city near Osaka and Kyoto. Visitors from the Kansai International Airport can easily access Kobe via JR trains (e.

Nice and clean city. People friendly. Very functional and tourist oriented. Can serve as a hub to visit lots of cities in all directions in Japan (less crowded than Osaka and Kyoto).

Kobe is a quiet city compared to Osaka and Tokyo. Must see places around Kobe is Himeji Castle and Shin-Kobe Ropeway.

It was less frantic and densely populated than Osaka and Kyoto and we found it very easy to get around the main attractions by hopping on and off the city loop bus.

We stayed one night in a deluxe double room and enjoyed every second of it. The hotel is located in the busy city center but the rooms are quiet.

There are alot of company museums by the sea. See the beer museum and the small theme park. they also have a nice museum which features asian, egyptian historical artifacts.
