Right from the outset it was a grand experience staying at Lalaguna Villas, Sabang The enthusiastic staff greeted us warmly, then gave a thorough indoctrination to the Hotel, the room, and the available facilities as well as informing us as to the tours etc that were able to be booked directly with the hotel reception team. The location is a 10 min walk from the drop zone along the main street, which also served to introduce us to the beauty and convenience of Sabang. The walkway along the ocean front is picturesque and easy, however you will need to carry your bags a little when you get close to the hotel, as it is right on the beach. The staff suggested I go snorkelling at Lalaguna Bay, which is a further 10mins outside of town. There is an abundance of sea life there, and it's easy and free to get to, with plenty of facilities and not crowded at all. The hotel food is varied from Filipina, Western, Asian, and is reasonably priced and superior quality. The room we had was clean and tidy with a contemporary finish. Not 5 star quality, however very good. There was limited free supplies, however the mini bar was sufficient and the restaurant was so close anyway. Great Air Conditioner, Good water pressure, Nice linen. No regrets staying here. Thank you to Tin and Liam in particular......

Hidden haven in Puerto galera”
Spent 6 days here in Feb. It doesn't look much from the beach but it has a lovely pool/restaurant area with a really nice ambiance. The staff are all delightful and very helpful. Facilties are clean and of a high standard. The dive operation is well run with a good pre dive orientation and brilliant boat staff. It is a full valet operation and the do the job very well, preparing gear for the boat and cleaning after each day. They have good boats and the fastest boat to Verde Island which means you get there before other dive shops and have the place to yourself. It should be noted that they're is a surcharge for Verde island so check before you go. The dives are about £6 or£7 more expensive than the cheapest other operators but in my opinion worth the extra due to the level of service, boats and professionalism. Would definitely recommend. The resort is also near the far end of little laguna beach so is nice and quiet but only 2 mins walk to lovely restaurants and a really good bar. Note, get the resort to arrange your transfer from the port - it's easier and exactly the same price.

After 2 years of being cooped up at home, we decided to spend my husband's birthday here (after days of browsing all other options). Before our arrival, their staff was really responsive on Viber, which I appreciate so much. It melted my anxiety about travelling again. When we got there, we were welcomed by the owner and the staff. Also, important to note, that it's not beachfront. So if you want to see the white beach, you have to travel there and hire the resort van, which is kinda' expensive (we brought our car with us but it's on the other island) so we didn't push with it. Our room is on the 4th floor, love the view! But walking up and down the stairs after years of not exercising was really a workout! Haha. The elevator isn't working at the time we were there. Good thing we didn't bring our elderly parents. All the staff are so kind and always all smiles! You'll feel really taken care of here. Although the chef is excellent, we're just not used to the lack of salt (or maybe we're just so Pinoy haha). But I'm sure foreigners would love the food! Also, we love the room, super comfortable. I slept for almost a day in our short three days there. Haha. Also, we requested a room with a jacuzzi, and we were given that. So I'm very happy they accommodated my request. I'd say the cleaner should be more meticulous in sweeping under the sofas and beds because we saw something (won't specify) that is not child-friendly. Also, the staff didn't remind us what time the ship schedule to go back to Batangas, but I understand they're busy. Good thing, we made it there just in the nick of time. Anyway, what we LOVE the most in this resort are the diving lesson and the actual dive! The PADI beginner diving is perfect for well, beginners. Haha. Staff are the most helpful we have ever stayed with. From ferry booking to arranging pick up & drop off. To the bar/restaurant staff. The best service I have experienced in Philippines. Food menu is brilliant, as is the wine menu. Facilities are in great condition. Our room was near new with top quality furniture, amenities in both. Thanks again. Will stay again for sure.
