Stay this hotel for two nights in Kyoto. Near to Omiya station and Shijo Omiya station. There are few bus station nearer the hotel if you would like to take city bus. Visited the Arashiyama bamboo side by using 嵐電, which just located 1minutes away from hotel. You can go to Kawaramachi area by metro Omiya station which also just 1minutes from hotel. Convinient locatio in Kyoto and friendly staffs. Everyone are smiling and greet you. There are free breakfast and you can cook a simple dish. Breakfast are egg/ham/tuna/bread/sandwich/salad/fruits/soup and plenty of drinks that you can take. Room are big and two luggage can fix and open. Hotel is new, clean and I will stay again if visit Kyoto in future.

We were greeted by friendly staff every morning on our way to the lounge for a simple yet very satisfying breakfast. Beverages like coffee/tea and soft drinks were always available, which we enjoyed after returning from a long day touring Kyoto. Rooms were the typical small size you'd find in the city, but were clean and functional. Upon checking-in, we opted for the eco-friendly room cleaning service, and in exchange were given tokens to redeem free drinks from their vending machine. What a great idea, since we didn't think it was necessary to change towels everyday! There were many nice touches at the hotel which helped us with our planning, such as daily weather updates posted in the elevator, maps and handouts in the lobby recommending local attractions and restaurants, as well as other free amenities. Our family enjoyed daily stops at the nearby grocery store for snacks and ice cream, which we enjoyed at the hotel lounge every night before heading to bed. We hope to stay again!

Stayed here for 4 nights during my visit to Kyoto. I like the cleanliness of the hotel rooms and their attention to details. Staffs are friendly and some of them could speak Chinese. Breakfast though simple, was decent. The hotel is just a few mins walk from Omiya station.

Hotel room is small, but it's clean. The staff is friendly. I like how they provide a local cell phone that I can use for calling and GPS. I would recommend this hotel to anyway visiting Kyoto.

This was a fantastic hotel. Everything was brand new and extremely clean. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs and provided excellent customer service. The hotel is located in a great location with easy access to buses and the subway. We will definitely use this hotel again when we come back to Kyoto.

Overall, the hotel is good, e.g. new, modern, clean, good facilities, and free soup and drinks, etc. The only setback is the breakfast is not as good as those provided by chain boutique hotels, both variety and quality can be improved. Although it's far from kyoto station, the hotel is quite close to other two different railways line's stations, so to me it's nothing to complain about it.

A breath of fresh air in Japan - a hotel with a warm feel that welcomes you as you go in, friendly front desk staff speaking great English with lots of information. The hotel has prepared copies of multiple sheets with details of transport to attractions, nearby restaurants, and how to get to the airport etc - a lot of detail which is all very accurate and most helpful. Breakfast was included and whilst budget was more than plentiful with bread options, cereal, salad and meats, and juices and coffee from a machine all complimentary. Room itself whilst small was modern and has lots of plugs, USB chargers, big TV and fast internet that never failed once. Great location - I wish there were more 'warm' modern hotels like this in Japan!

Family vacation - interconnecting room ”
Value for money. The interconnecting room is small, but still good for a family of 4 adults and 2 young children (6yo, child is free). The breakfast is yummy (jap & western breakfast), and the hotel staff is friendly and nice. There are safe deposit boxes at the lobby. The hotel is also located near a train station, two train stops away from the Kyoto City Centre.

Connecting quad room good for families”
This hotel was conveniently located and clean. Only a three minute walk to the Hankyu-Omiya station. The hotel's small size made it very friendly and the staff were eager to please and help. However, it felt sort of like a budget hotel. In room amenities were OK, but the hotel left much to be desired in regards to common areas and relaxing spaces. I felt that the value was not there. For maybe a tiny more per night I could've had a very nice hotel or a more conveniently located one in the center of town .

This hotel has great value for money. It is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are compact, practical but spacious than most hotels of this kond in Japan. The staff are helpful, polite and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. The bathrooms were impeccably clean and haseverything you need. It is near public transport and walking distance to nishiki market and pontocho. We had an amazing stay and will stay here again.

Hotel are located between Omiya and Shijo Omiya station. It is more near to Omiya station, and easy to find. Location is very convinient to commute by train,bus and Randen small train bound to Arashiyama just around the corner. We book 4 person room that actually 2 single/double room that joinning connecting together, but we like it since we have each bathroom per room and the room are not to small and more space enough qith window. Free panty at the lobby served coffee, tea, hot water, water and instant soup machine 24 hours thats very u sefull due to winter. The bathroom amneties must be taken ourself when need. Hotel staff service very good, speak Chinese, and simple English. The staff will aak for how we would like to clean up our room, we choose the "eco" thats means the staff only change our towel, clean the trash and wrap up our bed "without change the bed sheet". But for that we been complimentary with 4 coin use for beverages vending machine. It is nice. Breakfast served in simple but yet cover for all age and diet ( vegetarian, bread, udon, fruits, cereal, western). Surely can be recomended for stay.

Hotel carried bags in. When it rained, hotel staff gave us umbrellas and towels, also wrapped our luggage in plastic so they would not get soaked. Rooms quite and very clean. Located close to subway, no beed for taxi

The hotel is near a Train station but not the JR Line... What I love most about this hotel is the 24 hours free soup, coffee, tea and drinks... The staff are so friendly and very courteous ... The location is not that central... but overall the hotel is good and a real value for money...

Although the location was handy to the central city, it is quite a way from the main Kyoto station. The room was so small, there was no room for luggage. The bed was up against two walls and to get into it you had to climb across the bed. Maybe ok for a single. The bathroom tidy and well equipt, but too small. The staff were helpful. Breakfast good.
