I have sent this to Accor Hotels aswell I am writing to bring to your attention the condition of Accor-owned hotels we recently stayed at, starting with Ibis Enfield. We arrived on Thursday, March 7th, around 7:15 PM. Upon checking in, I waited about 10-15 minutes at the desk without a bell or button to call for assistance. At around 7:35 PM, a young woman walked in, and I initially thought she was a guest. She went straight to the dining area and sat down. After a moment, she turned and asked if I had a booking. I confirmed that I had booked and paid online. She asked me to wait a few minutes, to which I agreed. However, she then informed me that it would be a 30-minute wait because she was on her dinner break. I politely mentioned that I had a dinner reservation and simply needed to drop off our bags before being picked up by a driver. She seemed frustrated, pushed her food aside, and reluctantly approached the desk. She asked for my ID and credit card, and her tone and body language made me feel as though I was inconveniencing her. After processing my check-in, she handed me the key, and I went to drop off our bags in the room. When we were leaving after dropping the bags, I noticed other guests waiting at the desk, and she repeated the same thing: “You need to wait 30 minutes, I’m on my dinner break.” This was very unprofessional and set a negative tone for the stay. Later that night, when we returned after a long day, we tried to charge our devices using the power outlets and USB ports, but neither worked. The most concerning issue, however, was the strong smell of urine in the bathroom, which lingered throughout our entire stay. The room also had a significant buildup of dust on the carpets, causing both my partner and me to sneeze constantly. I had to purchase antihistamines from a nearby service station just to get through the night. The next day, we discovered mold in several areas of the shower, including the door frame, silicone seals, and the air vent, which was also full of dust. The urine smell remained. We left our towels on the floor, as there was nowhere to hang them, and followed the housekeeping instructions to leave them on the floor for replacement. When we returned later that night, after being out from 10:20 AM to past midnight (leaving the room unattended for 14 hours), we were disappointed to find that the room had not been serviced. The towels were still on the floor, and the housekeeping sign was still on the door. At no time during our stay coming in or out was there any staff to be found to raise concerns. As we returned after hours each time I did not expect to be able to find anyone on duty. Exhausted, I went downstairs to get fresh towels from the linen trolley. The next morning, in daylight, we noticed how dirty the room actually was: dusty carpets, light fixtures covered in dust, dirty hard flooring, and grime around the skirting boards. Having traveled extensively, especially throughout Southeast Asia, I can confidently say that the Ibis Enfield was the dirtiest place we’ve ever stayed. This is disheartening, especially since it’s in Australia, our home country, where I expected much higher standards. I’ve included pictures of the room, hallway, communal fridge, and even the staircase, which had broken tiles and posed a safety risk. This hotel is in desperate need of maintenance, repairs, and a general deep clean. We will not be returning. For reference, we stayed Saturday night at the Mantra Parramatta (also Accor-owned) afterward. While it had some similar issues, the cleanliness was much better. However, there was still a significant amount of dust around the edges, and I was also surprised to see that parking, advertised as available on-site, came with an extra charge that was not mentioned upfront. In conclusion, we will be avoiding Accor hotels in the future, as the cleaning standards and overall experience did not meet expectations.
Check in time 12pm which is great and rooms are clean. Staffs are helpful and I surprise the man called Mohammed was working in reception and I discovered HE IS THE GENERAL MANAGER...What a great example to other team members...keep it up guys. I extended another 5 nights ..

I'm sorry to say, we weren't impressed with 3 cockroaches during our stay. When I asked staff for some spray, she said they didn't have any & couldn't I catch them! Bought some at the shop. Also found an used bandaid on the carpet. The lighting needs improved.

Good location and price, but window didn’t close (letting in cold air and highway noise), as latch broken, we tried to tie it closed and some protruding wire cut my skin. The staff attended with first aid and taped up the exposed wire on the window latch as we really wanted to stay in that room as the heater didn’t work and the bed wasn’t comfortable in the alternative room they offered us. They taped the window closed and offered us complimentary breakfast in the morning. However, they really should fix the window and I hope they have by now.
