"The best western was a cute location with functional facilities that had largely been recently updated. Parking: $25/night (limited spaces) or 2h limited during the week until 6pm (free on weekends) On bus lines to the city via Glebe, Coogee via Newtown and the inner west via Leichhardt. Also close to the light rail. A grocery and a number of cafes and restaurants are at the doorstep. The room was basic but functional, with a small fridge, kettle and coffee/tea. The toiletries were lovely (though pump. Good for the environment, a shame if you wanted to take them home!). We set up a portable cot and after shuffling some furniture around it fit with no issues. The vast majority of rooms are balcony rooms, which would be lovely for letting the breeze through (we ended up in the one room without on our floor). Opposite the Glebe library, and a short walk to Tramsheds (hipster supermarket and cafe precinct) and Jubilee Park (green space and playground by the water)"
