"Was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel - what a great find, will definitely stay there again! I am unashamedly a "hotel snob" and usually go with the 5-stars for a bit of reassurance. Was nervous staying at a 4-star unknown brand this time but is so happy with the experience! Rooms are small and compact, but is very cleverly and efficiently designed to maximise the space available. Very clean with good (and complete) toiletry inclusions. Best surprise for us was the free mini-bar (of water, juice, soft drink, muesli bar) and quality T2 tea and Nespresso pod coffee included! Being use to paying $5-8 for a bottle of water where I usually stay at double the price, I am very happy! The quality of the bedding (mattress, pillows and linen) was also exceptional for the price of the room - I would rate it comparable to the Hilton, Sofitel, Westin bedding. Free wifi also included. Not a luxury/indulgent stay if that is what you are after, but definitely on top of my list for business travels or short stays where you don't expect to spend too much time sitting in your room. Thank you for a lovely stay Tank Stream, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!"

"Hotel is located close to everything. It is on the fringe of the CBD. Only 5 to 10 minute walk to Rocks, Darling harbour and circle quay We were booked into a club level room entitling you to canopies and drinks from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Quality of bites was excellent and menu changes daily. We also had access to breakfast on club level but opted for larger and more diverse offerings in 1st floor restaurant. We found ingredients, especially seasonally fruits to be excellent! Hotel does have indoor swimming pool but is on the smallish side Staff was capable, engaging and quite helpful. Learned best way to get to the airport from hotel is by train. We did have a top floor view over the harbour but a number of rooms are more obstructed so please be sure to inquire about the view. All and all, one of the best experiences we've had in hotels for quite some time. Would not hesitate to strongly recommend!"

"From the moment you walk through the doors of the lobby, the Marriott treats you to a spectacular view. The whole hotel has a majestic feel to it, and both the bar and restaurant continue this vibe. The rooms are spacious, beds super comfortable and the bathroom is more than accommodating. The views of the harbour are exciting, and a definite highlight. I would recommend a stay any time, try to get a room on a high floor with a harbour view- you won't regret it. "

"Travelodge Wynyard is a great hotel. Well located, with a 10 minute walk to Circular Quay and a 20 minute walk to Chinatown, with loads of bars and restaurants in between. The staff I spoke to were really helpful and pleasant. The rooms are ok, nothing special but they are clean and have really comfortable beds. The hotel is really good value for money. I will definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others as well."
