My second time here and the sixth hotel I’d stayed in over the past two weeks and by far the best- location is excellent just behind the Coca Cola sign in Sydney which any taxi or uber can find, easy Check-in, rooms are modern, clean and spacious with comfortable bedding/ selection of pillows. Mainly though it’s the many small touches that make this place stand out- a...

Well situated in the bustling suburb of Kings Cross, with easy access to The Opera House, Bay Bridge, Darling Harbour, Royal Botanic Gardens, St. Mary's Cathedral, all with in walking distance. The suites are basic, but the larger rooms on the upper floors, have cooking facilities, crockery and cutlery, microwave etc and sleep 3, and offer the best value in Sydney.

had to book a hotel in sydney in a hurry. after going through hundreds of hotels in various websites i decided to book 'devere hotel'in potts point. probably i was lucky to get a really good deal. per night for a single room suited my budget well (believe me sydney hotels are expensive). i was not impressed by the comments about this hotel but decided to take a chanc...

We stayed 4 nights and we were very comfortable. The hotel is located in 2 old townhouses that are really beautiful. The room was small and the bathroom even smaller but everything was beautifully presented. The room functioned really well and was spotless when we returned after a long day sightseeing. The staff were efficient though not overly friendly. It took the to...

I booked a room with twin beds with Agoda, but somehow when the room was assigned to us, it was a room with a double bed. I went back to the front desk, show them my booking sheet. There is a miscommunication between Agoda and Booking.com. Nevertheless, the gentleman at the front desk, still helped us to change to a room with 2 beds. We stayed comfortably throughou...

I don't want to give the Ibis a great review as I'm worried it will become popular and then I won't be able to stay there anymore. I once lived in Sydney and visit a few times a year, normally staying at different hotels. However, I will definitely be returning to the Ibis in East Sydney. Exceptional value for money the hotel's prime location is in the heart of Syndey...

This was my Eleventh stay at Highfield Hotel in two years. The staff are always so helpful, but special mention must go to recent addition Peter. Peter goes out of his way to make all guests feel welcome and he is never too busy for a chat. This is what makes Highfield Hotel a real home away from home. Likewise Owner Adrian and son Eden go the extra mile to ensure ...

Well, let's start with the word - OUTSTANDING! Met at reception by the lovely, super efficient Donna who just couldn't do enough in welcoming us, providing a full description of all services and a few possible itinerary add on's ... in a wonderfully, inviting, non-intrusive manner. This private, boutique hotel is surely one of Sydney’s little secrets nestled away ...

I booked at Springfield Lodge 6 months ahead and so I got the Budget Twin Basement Room at a very low price and I our 2 nights stay last November I must say was very worth it. The staff were very friendly. I loved their location despite being so close to the busy red light district area of Kings Cross. (Tip: Look for the Victoria St. Exit on the subway to avoid the cha...

We stayed in the Executive King suite, which had an area with a sofa and coffee table, which at least gave our 2 year old a little more space to run about and play. The bed was a comfortable king-sized bed. The bathroom tended to get a little wet when we showered though... The service was excellent as the staff were very friendly and efficient. They gave good tourist...

We arrived for a week's stay over the new year period and it was understandable that it was the busiest time of year for the hotel. We were celebrating our honeymoon and notwithstanding the refusal of a room with a view of the harbour we still had a whale of a time in Sydney. The staff overall were very friendly and helpful forgetting that on the last day a receptionis...

We had a pleasant stay. The location is good, the staff are helpful, the room is alright, it has its own private bathroom although the toiletries weren't replaced so we have to buy our own. That's the only downside I guess. I wouldn't know about the food, since we didn't eat at the hotel. All in all it was good since all we did was sleep there. We got what we paid...

From the initial booking and extra bed for one night being confirmed, to arrival was successful. The Kingsize Room had a wonderful view over the park, although we couldn't glimpse the water. The staff were all accommodating - facilitating my husband's transit to the airport after one night. Carparking was easy and reasonably priced beneath the hotel. Drive in to the...

It is outstanding value for money. The service, and receptionist in particular, is excellent. Place is very clean. I would have avoided staying somewhere without my own bathroom but this is no problem here. Very clean, closeby and always accessible. The room I had was on a high floor with good natural light, and plenty of space; very clean. I had a small fridge, micro,...

So close to the train station and great location. Neighborhood gets a little noisy on the weekends, and there are strip clubs across the street. I did not mind this at all, but I know some people would. I stayed in the summer and there was no a/c but there was a really good fan. I had a great time there and felt very safe!
