"I booked a 1 night stay at Harbourview Hotel, Macau on March 22-23, 2019 to celebrate my birthday. Indeed, we had the best stay in Macau and the most unforgettable birthday salubong. The hotel is very nice and clean. Not to mention that the location is also very strategically located around the tourists distinations so very easy to go around the city. The staff are very accommodating to us. We were given the best service from toiletress to water to coffee. Especial thanks to the following staff: John Arnaiz, Jeffrey, Jed, Walter and Ms. Hannah from housekeeping for the warm hospitality. Iba talaga ang alagang pinoy! Until our next stay, Harbourview! "

"Booked it without breakfast so we could enjoy breakfast from the many eateries nearby. Love its many TV channels that we can watch in the room if we are not out for sight seeing. Many sightseeing spots within walking distance but be prepared to walk up & down the hill. Bus stop is just down the hill, if you cannot see it, the friendly local will direct you, they'll even tell you which one has more frequent bus route. I love it when we were given a connecting double bed room without us even request it. There's free Shuttle bus to fetch people to the ferry pier at the Macau peninsular, but shuttle bus to Taipa is less frequent but you can get the schedule from the staff as you arrived. Not sure if there is free shuttle bus from the Airport as I did not arrive at Macau by flight. There's shuttle bus to go to the airport but you need to pay for it & it's the least frequent. Tips: if you are traveling to Macau & Hong Kong in 1 trip, will suggest to go to Hong Kong then to Macau if you are on a budget. After you stay in the hostel/small hotels in Hong Kong, you'll really enjoy the hotel you can get in Macau with similar price."

"easonable price, comfortable, and nice. It is suitable and best choices for bagpacker. My personal share view about Macau is: Macau is a Chinese and Spanish culture city, especially old local building, historical building, Old Roman Catholic church, old Chinese temple, entry ticket is very cheap (MOP 10) to see Panda in Macau City unlike in China the entry ticket is RMB100 and above, plus most of the tourism places in Macau city does not need entry ticket including museum. Food in Macau is nice and only McDonald available in Macau city, and no KFC in Macau. Regarding gambling places, most of these places are free entry, beautiful and elegant designed, especially The Venetian is the best and worth to visit in evening 5PM. Chinese people in Macau is very nice, helpful, and civilize, but if you are able to speak cantonese to them, they are even willingly and helpful to you. Merely bus in Macau not really covenience sometimes although is cheap, easily get confuse, and taxi in Macau is espensive. Macau City is a nice place to visit although its small."

"Rating 8.2 for this hotel is underrated. It should be 9.5 or higher. I've been coming to this hotel since 2002 when it was the biggest hotel/casino in Macau. Since then there were many other much bigger newer hotels build, but I will keep coming back to this hotel. For the value, it can't be beat. Thought the outside of this hotel looks dated, but the inside of the hotel had been updated. The room is a bit dated but still very comfortable. Love the free mini bar, breakfast buffet is great and dinner buffet is great. Price for dinner buffet is a bit spendy but cheaper than Sands and most other big hotels. One of the updated feature they have is security, which most of the 5 stars in Macau and Hong Kong don't have yet, is that when you scan your room key in the elevator, it will automatically select your floor for you and you can't push buttons to choose any other floor. The reception staffs, bell boys, concierges, restaurant staffs, housekeeping are surprisingly speak very good English and are very nice. Tippers, if you want to tip, you'll have to physically put your tips into the server's pocket on the uniform or the hotel/restaurant will keep your tip. The only thing bad about Macau as a whole is that the Mainland Chinese people that come to Macau are rude, loud, uneducated, and dirty. They are almost as American rude and as loud. Mainland Chinese people have no common courtesy and no common decency. It's easy to avoid the Americans in Macau or Hong Kong, but the Mainland Chinese people are everywhere, you can't avoid them. You can tell which people are native Macau people or Hong Kong people because they act civilize. You can hear the Mainland Chinese a mile away when they talk or you can hear them clearing their throat and spit a mile away. "
