I must say that the Hennan Lagoon Boracay is truly a fantastic resort. We stayed in a deluxe room that came with a balcony that had a great view of the lagoon. The bed was comfortable and the room was well equipped with all the necessary amenities such as air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a safe. The resort has a beautiful lagoon-style pool that is perfect for swimming and lounging in the sun. The pool area is well-maintained and has plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. Stayed in a ‘deluxe’ room which is their way of saying a normal room. It was nice, clean and spacious. Worth the money. Stayed there for 6 days. Then moved to a suite. It’s huge! Definitely get a suite if it’s within your budget. Buffet: always packed with goodies for everyone to enjoy, Asian food, to European, to American. Very tasty. Have to ask for salt and pepper if you chose to spice it up, but was good without it. Staff: what can I say here. The nicest most friendly people on the island. Looked sharp, acted very professional and made my stay and room transfer AND transfer to the Caticlan Airport seamless. Restaurant: Food was ok compared to what you could find out in town, but still tasty. Price wise, on the higher end. Room service was great without any extra fees. Pool: clean, cool and refreshing. Towel boys/gals were always friendly and happy to see you. Loved those guys. Security: forgive me for not remembering his name but there was one guy, bald good looking fella that was always the brightest face to see. Very kind, helpful and professional. Gonna miss ya Kuya. Front desk staff: very pleasant and kind as well. (See a pattern here) these lovely ladies made sure our stay was perfect. Thank you. Gonna miss you ladies as well. Housekeeping: These two were always ready and available to clean up the room and straighten up our mess in a jiffy. Ask for extra coffee, boom! Extra coffee. Extra sheet(it got chilly in there) Boom! Extra sheet. Love these two. Location was great. Off the main beach so quieter than others. So that was a plus. HOWEVER, their singer(from 6-9pm nightly) God bless her was pretty loud. Thought the volume was enough for the beach to hear her. Her voice was angelic, but might need new equipment and a sound check before she starts next time. A lot of clicking and feedback on the mic when she starts. Other than that, YES! A great place to stay at. Oh and if you exchange money at the front desk for Pesos, make sure your bills are FLAWLESS. Like fresh of the presses flawless. No ink marks, smudges, dirt, knicks, tears wrinkles. Nothing.
Upgraded to Premier ”
Grateful that I was upgraded to a Premier room with nice king size bed, big comfort room with a tub. all the Staff were friendly as expected from Hennan. Very clean and not too crowded. There are only three things. I did not enjoy as much. First is the distance of the hotel to the beach. It’s a five minute walk, which can be strenuous especially if you had already walked a lot. Second is the breakfast buffet, which there’s not a lot of options and the drinks are not cold. And lastly, the live band until 10 PM. The room wasn’t soundproof so it was hard to rest on some nights. And as my last note, I should have been prepared to bring some medicine as the hotel was not fully equipped. Don’t get me wrong. I really enjoyed my stay and I can still consider going back.
