Food were exceptional! Drinks by the pool bar was great! ALL Staff are courteous! Front office staff are helpful with our requests. Bar Staff creates nice drinks for us! Few comments : - i did not enjoy the view sitting on the beach chair coz it was being blocked by the vendors not the tourists. Cant take a photo of the view were we were sitting. Maybe the staff can do something about it by asking the vendors or tour guides not to block the view and makes us feel uncomfortable - there was a group of people that was sitting which are not guests. The staff knows them and let them seated on the beach chair which is not right. Although they just occupied 2 chairs and 1 beach umbrella. I still find it unfair for paying guests not to have the spot considering the capacity of Hennan - the performers during buffet dinner was a bit of a miss . They are performing at the entrance of the hotel and the people who availed the buffet dinner cannot see their performance. Should be at least in front of where the people are dining as there is still space. And what i did not like was they went around with a box asking for tip which we did not even see their performance . So we did not give any. - the jet on the left side of the pool facing the beach view is not working. Should at least pay attention on that Only few comments from us and i hope when we come back we see improvement with what we pointed out.

It was our 7th trip to Boracay and our first time staying at Henann Crystal Sands. We’ve previously stayed at other Henann hotels, including Henann Palm, and unfortunately, our experience at Crystal Sands was noticeably different—in a bad way. We booked 2 rooms for a 4D/3N stay: Rooms: The rooms are spacious and clean, but the phone signal was terrible. While they kindly moved us to a different room, it was only one floor higher in the same area, and the signal barely improved. If you’re booking, I’d recommend avoiding the Deluxe rooms, as they offer no decent views—unlike other Henann hotels where standard rooms at least provide a view of an amenity. Hotel Policies: They have strict policies, which I understand, but more transparency on their booking website would’ve been helpful: 1. No visitor policy – Not even a brief visit is allowed, which feels a bit excessive. 2. No outside food allowed – The hotel restaurant has limited options, especially for kids, and with a typhoon keeping us inside, we were frustrated that no outside food was permitted. 3. Breakfast buffet confusion – We paid extra for an additional bed and breakfast (₱1,900/night for adults and ₱1,200/night for kids), but the buffet staff were unaware every morning. While they were polite and clarified the issue, the daily stress of having to explain was unnecessary. 4. Beachfront issues – While this didn’t happen to us, the guests next to us had a dispute with the staff about “unauthorized use” of beach beds, even though they were checked-in guests. Customer service was lacking, and the guard mistakenly approached our group about the issue. That was an awkward and frustrating moment. 5. No complimentary option for a packed meal if you can’t make it to breakfast due to an early flight. Other hotels offer small takeaway meals when you’re unable to attend breakfast. Other concerns: The shampoo dispenser in our room was broken and we were charged ₱3,250 for the damage. While we’re unsure if the kids caused it, we felt the charge seemed excessive. Location: The location is perfect, conveniently close to popular spots in both Station 1 and 2.

We were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the hotel staffs upon arrival and the entire period of our stay. We felt very relaxed, special and comfortable and the hotel feels like home to us in a very special way. I have tried other Henann hotels like Henann Regency and Henann Palm and just like those hotels, Henann Crystal Sands did not disappoint. The breakfast and the pools has always been my favorite in Henann and the Skypool there was so beautiful and relaxing seeing the beachview. I have always loved staying in Henann hotels and it has been close to my heart and vibes everytime I visit Boracay. We will definitely book again and other Henann hotels as well.

Superb location, love the nightly bands and fire dance, clean and nice pools both at the ground floor and the the third floor, food quantity is adequate but quality could improve. Airport transfer is fantastic and hassle free. Staff are over-all nice; probably needs improvement re: awareness on how to use cards properly or invest in reliable card machines as I was forced to withdraw from an atm in the noon heat because the reception staff said my card isnt working when it worked in all the restos in the island including the ones in the hotel and was also successfully used upon check out to pay for incidentals. Scheduling of airport transport to the airport could improve— we were scheduled for pick up at 2 pm for a 5:30 flight because they said there are others guests from other Hennan hotels who need to be picked up as it turns out, we were the only ones from Sands checking out at the time. While I greatly appreciate the prompt adjustment to the schedule made upon request, it was quite off putting that we were made to sign a waiver for re-scheduling when it clearly shouldn't take more than an hour or even 2 hours to get to the airport; we felt that we were going to be responsible for any lateness especially for things under the full control of the hotel such as other Hennan guests that need to be picked up when we were paying the same airport transport fees as these other Hennan guests located in station 3. Staff at the pool bar are great and at breakfast although service at breakfast diminishes in quality as 10 am approaches. Great staff at beach front as well! Other things to improve would be the lack of water in the room as water is available only from dispensers, unclarity around which food/drink couldnt be eaten inside the rooms (i mean, chips and soda should be fine),and the no left over rule at breakfast (i understand though if food is clearly being wasted but surely, they didnt mean absolutely no leftover esp if the food isnt good (ie papayas that turned put to be overripe). We didnt have a bad experience around strict imposition of these rules but still quite disconcerting. Showers near pools could be improved (ie install indoor showers). Finally, the welcome drinks which the receptionist said any drink from Sapphire that turned out to be some sort of a drink of the day. Probably better to do what other hotels do which is offer the same upon arrival either at the lobby or at the hotel waiting area prior to the boat ride.

Spent 6 nights here with my family which incudes two young children and my parents (ages 70 and 65). The resort is very new, clean, and the staff is superb. Breakfast buffet delicious and slightly different each day. Location is perfect. Pools always have spots and beach front is great if you can get to reserve your chairs early. The transport via henann is also very prompt, safe, and direct. I highly recommend this resort.
