Where to stay in Fort Lauderdale City Center
Fort Lauderdale City Center hotels & accommodations

Historic hotel complex right in the heart of Fort Lauderdale on Los Olas Blvd....booked The Riverside Hotel for exactly that reason and was not disappointed in the least. All kinds of unique shops and restaurants in every direction.........you can't go wrong at all.......just get out and walk and enjoy everything Los Olas has to offer. The Riverside Hotel was well app...

Hotels near the beach were so expensive. But this place was affordable and gave us pleasant experiences. We arrived at the airport around 10 pm but within 20 minutes the shuttle was coming to pick up. Just call them at the airport. Complimentary breakfast from 6-10 am was more than expected though they didn’t have fresh vegetables. Bedding was comfortable and pool area...

WEll presented Best Western Hotel - fresh modern feel. Hotels in Fort Lauderdale are expensive, especially by the beach. This is a great option if you are on a tighter budget. Good facilities, 2 mins to the beach, pleasant walk to Olas Boulevard and the beach front vibes further along towards the more expensive resort hotels. Breakfast was substantial and varied. I boo...

The room allocated to us was within the grounds of the hotel and some distance from the main building. On entry, we were whisked back to 1963; JFK was still President and this room was new! Unfortunately, it is not 1963 (and these fellows have that clown Trump instead). The room was ok if not tired, but the bathroom didn't seem to have been touched since the day the...

Pro: Awesome staff. They were all very helpful and polite. Con: Daily resort fee included in bill even if you don't utilise the facilities. I didn't stay there for the facilities (I'm an island girl and our beaches are much better ;-)), I stayed for the location. Other than that, awesome place to stay!

Beautiful location, close to the Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center, and across the street from the beach with fantastic ocean front, wide view (no other tall buildings nearby). While the building is an older one, it is quite clean and well kept - and they are in process of making upgrades. The walkway to the beach was closed during our stay. The staff were exceptiona...

Despite the excellent location by the seaside of Fort Lauderdale, its facilities were extremely poor. The swimming pool was right below our room and we could hear people shouting all the time. The most important thing is that the Wifi connection was extremely poor. We could not even refresh our Facebook under that slow speed. The connection process was complicated as w...

I have travelled throughout the world and have stayed at very many Exclusive hotels This one "takes the cake" for the worst Cold breakfast buffet eggs, bacon, and sausage Poor selection of fresh fruit The pancakes were like LEAD The happy hour was a joke only two people on the bar Lineups practically right out into the hallway Popcorn, potato, and nacho chips Raw vegg...

This was our first time to Fort Lauderdale and I booked at B ocean because it had the only hotel with the private beach. The hotel is modern and clean. We stayed in the king ocean view with balcony, smaller room than I expected but it was very chic and housekeeping kept it very clean. The views of the sunrise were amazing. The restaurants were OK we did most of our e...

Our stay at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort was pretty standard. Nothing to write home about. They charge a $30 a day "resort fee" that apparently does not transfer down to the beach chairs downstairs from the pool deck. You would think that this place being a "resort" and all, the beach loungers would be included in your stay. That sort of irked me, but otherw...

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. A bit on the expensive side, but it was a hotel that met our needs so we went with it. Four star for facilities as the pool closes too early in my opinion. 7pm instead of 11pm like the neighboring Hilton which we stayed at previously.

We enjoyed our stay. Our rooms were large and clean. We asked for a roll away bed and it was quickly provided. The front desk staff and the manager were very welcoming and gave us a number of ideas on things to do in the area. In the morning the breakfast attendant was extremely helpful and the shuttle service provided a great way for some in our party to be on thei...

We chose this hotel because of the location and the price. It is right off the beach and it was extremely affordable. The hotel provides you beach towels and chairs if you want to use them. They have a little bar that opens at 6 and the bartender Shaun was extremely friendly. The hotel staff was also very helpful and the hotel room was very clean. It was perfect for a ...

Stayed in a efficiency Middle Room #207 Great view of the intercostal waterways , panoramic view . Great off the beaten path Hotel, comfortable bed and clean room, nice bath and kitchenette I will most definitely return with my wife The Beach is about 15 min walk, there are many eateries.

A lovely hotel with very friendly service, would highly recommend the only problem for us was that the elevator wasn't working for the 2 days we were there and we were on the 5th floor, this probably helped to get some holiday condition off! Possibly could have been reimbursed in some form though. But wasn't the case. Breakfast is complimentary but is just ok.

the hotel has an excellent location for travelers either by air from fort lauderdale-hollywood airport or from port everglades on a cruise ship. however, you are in great need of a car since buses or other means of transportation seems to be scarce. there is a very good sports bar at the shopping area right across the street.

I've never been a big reviewer but after reading some of the comments of the place I was going to stay, I cancelled two days out from travel. I struggled to find anything as FT Lauderdale was 85% booked but then the Victoria popped up. Great feedback, great reviews and for great reason! This is a great little Hotel nestled about 10 mins from the beach and walking dis...

The facilities are of the older vintage and therefore somewhat dirty and old fashioned visually. However, the room was large and okay for comfort. The location was very handy to the beach area and several of the boat ride activities. We were a bit disappointed to discover that Agoda had charged us several dollars more for the room than the hotel's actual price. Had we...

Pros- staff really strived for customer service. Cons- 1. checked into a dirty room. 2. Took 15 minutes to check me into a different room that was also unfinished. 3.Took another 15 minutes for them to finish. 4. There were at least a dozen unoccupied rooms that were clean since we arrived. 5. I counted about 20 people at the T-dance. 6. I was charged by the booking a...
Cheap places to stay in Fort Lauderdale City Center

Small budget hotel set back a ways from the beach in Miami, this hotel has very friendly staff who are very happy to help. The hotel is a bit old school decorated but has a mini kitchen, and has a small but deep pool, but the beach is only two blocks away.

Overall a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean and bright. There was a microwave oven which was very helpful. However it would have been nice if there were plates and cutlery. Kevin, the staff at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Location was just a few minutes walk from the beach and a short drive to the Galleria mall.

The hotel does not have any restaurant. For breakfast, you need to walk about 5 minutes to a nearby hotel. Good point is that the hotel is walking distance to beach. Bad point is the service attitude of the staff - - I don't think they are friendly and helpful. There are many hotels in Fort Lauderdale. I think I will select another hotel in my next visit since I...

Our room which had double Kings (all that was left for just 2 of us) was so spacious we almost wished we brought our kids!! It’s perfect for families and definitely girl trip getaways!! The only bummer was the shower. I could only adjust the temperature if I turned the shower off since the on/off nozzle was quite loose. Fix that and it would have been 5 star perfect!! ...

Very nice hotel with wonderful views of Fort Lauderdale beach. The staff are amazing and we're super patient with me with my questions and enquiries. Loved how clean the room looked and smelled. If in FLL area then this is the hotel for me. Yes there's a resort fee but location alone is worth it for me and get beach access plus other features.
