The hotel is in a perfect location, a 10-minute walk from Union Station and a 7-minute walk to the metro and bus stop also around the corner the staff are fantastic and have a good response, they clean my room every day, I would like to book this hotel again if I go LA, 100% recommendations.
Clean. Near Little Tokyo. If you are travelling with a vehicle and parking overnight, there are better parking locations within 3 mins walk nearby.
I’ve used Agoda several times before to ask questions, and all hotels responded except for Double Tree. No one answered my query on slippers, so thankfully I brought my own because there weren’t any in my room. Next, I expected to have even just one bottle of water in my room, but none was provided. Apparently you have to be part of their rewards program to get that…. Like the tea and coffee in the room, tho, at least. The staff were so-so, not bad but not exceptional either, I didn’t feel welcome - they were polite, but none of them were friendly/warm, and I felt like I was a bother whenever I asked questions. I also don’t like the fact that I still had to pay for parking despite being a guest at the hotel. I probably expected too much considering they’re “by Hilton.” The location is ok, with a nearby 7-11. But Little Tokyo is also nearby, so the location is actually great. The breakfast buffet wasn’t big but the food was decent. Love the small Japanese garden they have. Will only repeat staying here if i don’t have any other choice or if the rates are significantly reduced or free lol; otherwise, I’d book somewhere nearer to the Crypto arena.
This size for this price is incredible. The room was on the top floor, with two toilets and three sinks. We stayed as a group of four, including a child, and we had plenty of space to be comfortable. Three people slept in a king bed, while one person arranged a blanket on the sofa to sleep. There were issues like not enough cups and bathrobes, the bathtub being unusable, and a clogged toilet, but given the price, I am more than satisfied.

This time, I stayed to watch the Dodgers. It's about a 5-minute taxi ride from Union Station, where the Dodgers Express departs and arrives. There's a Japanese supermarket behind the hotel, and a 7-Eleven next door, which is convenient. When I told the staff at the reception, they gave me bottled water and cookies every day. Despite many Japanese guests using this hotel, there are no staff members who speak Japanese, but everyone was kind.
