Family room was excellent with the soda bed made up, and the pool was popular with the kids. Nothing fancy but in walking distance to the main Cairns esplanade it was great for our stay.

Clean well appointed room. Room for luggage and hanging clothes. Beds were comfortable. Tea and coffee and milk provided. Friendly accommodating staff. Accommodation was very close to the centre of town. Above average for the price.

Some good some bad aspects. Bed was great. General cleaning was ok, but black coloured grout throughout must of the bathroom was off putting. Nothing close nearby but if you're happy walking 10min into the centre all fine. No hand towel nor face washer. Free umbrella hire and green credits option was great, resulted in a free breakfast which was a nice surprise. Late check in at 3pm. Close to bus stop and buses are cheap so that's handy

I stayed with my mother. Instead of a large bed, I requested a twin room, and luckily, we were given a spacious room with two queen beds that was available. There were staff who spoke Japanese. The linens and amenities were minimal but sufficient. Instead of housekeeping, we received a daily credit of $10, which we exchanged for water every day. The air conditioning and ceiling fan could be adjusted, the water temperature was good, and we were comfortable. The sound of the birds was wonderful! The pool was clean, and it felt great to swim after a long time. What I liked the most was the breakfast. Despite being a small hotel, there was a wide variety of choices, and every meal was delicious. Also, the quietness is a plus. It’s a bit away from the city center, but that made it quiet, which was ideal for my mother and me. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the center; it felt quick while strolling and feeling the breeze. When we got tired, we used the bus. I highly recommend it! Thank you!
