Shah Alam hotels & accommodations

Bluewave Shah Alam is the best hotel in Shah Alam!!!their staff offer excellent service and this is the first 5 star hotel in Malaysia that received Islamic Quality award. Room was clean and very big and my room facing the beautiful Blue mosque. Thank you to all bluewave staffs and i will definitely stay here again during my next visit.

strategically located in the suburbs of kuala lumpur and in the heart of the business and commercial hub of shah alam, this hotel is located next to the state museum and library, and just a 15 minute walk away from the famous blue mosque. it is the perfect location for businesses from kuala lumpur city centre and only 40 minutes to kuala lumpur international airport in...

Our 2 nights stay at Best Western i-City Shah Alam were pleasant and enjoyable. Time was well spent. Overall, my family and I had a great time. Im addition, we were also welcomed with wonderful service by the wonderful team from Best Western i-City Shah Alam. My first compliment goes to Jessica(Asst Front Office Manager and Shahril(staff from restaurant at 5th story)...

I'm a returning customer to Alami Garden. As always the hotel manage to keep up to its standard. The breakfast is basic but as usual satisfying. Greatly nearby Tesco and Tesco Extra. Seems like Jusco is opening up soon. Since i travel to Shah Alam Aquatic for all three consecutive days, staying in Alami is a breeze. The owner is friendly and had dinner with him nearly ...

Everything was just fine except they always want us to arrive before their office is closed at 5.30pm where late check-in was a hassle. It is an apartment, not a hotel. After all it was a comfortable stay and until today will be my 1st choice of accommodation whenever I'm in KL or Shah Alam. The price was so cheap, room is spacious with complete facilities. Recommended...

This hotel has always been our preferred option when we have our weekend getaway and opt to stay in Shah Alam instead of city centre (KL). A nice comfy place for a short stay. Though the reception area is at a separate building, the staff is quite attentive (a phone call away) when we had difficulties (there was a blackout at the whole room level during one of our stay...

I always stay in shah alam once every 2 weeks for my part time classes in uitm and I usually bring my husband along. Friendly staffs, very near to uitm which is convenient. Was very happy when we were given a free upgrade so am gonna review about the deluxe room. Room was spacious, bed was super soft and comfy, shower water pressure was awesome. The only thing was the ...

Pro: New Hotel Friendly staff Nearby to restaurant and banks. (within walking distance) Good water pressure Comfortable bed Hot Water was perfect Toothbrush and Toothpaste was provided. Con: Deposit wasnt mentioned during booking. But upon arrival, I was asked for deposit money. Overall: Good hotel. Value for money. Will come again.

I went with my partner to Shah Alam for an event on Dec 24th 2015. Since we also have event on the night before, we decided not to go back to KL and just stay in Shah Alam. Booking is done via Agoda. We checked in a bit late, around 1am, but the staff was very friendly to assist. Check in was done in a breeze. There is TV with few channels, hot shower, aircond, all th...

It was a bit difficult to find how to get in to this facility. Also confusion when booking Grab as to where to pick us up. Needs to be some improvement in this area. The attendant was responsive to communication, but the checking in process was a bit quirky. We asked for a high view and were given a place on the 35th floor, amazing view of the city. Quiet, patio doors ...

Pros: excellent location just next to Setia City Mall (less than 5mins walk). Nice place for shopping and has a variety of food there. Easy to get grab services, has a Malay restaurant and mynews.com just below the apartment complex. Need security card to assess the lifts and security guard is around at lobby. Room is very spacious and neat and clean (my colleague who...

Although i forgot to tell their staff to check on bathroom drain - the water was slow running on the 1st day. The next day, they already fixed it! This hotel has a housekeeper to clean up the room everyday. I've stayed at other hotel around shah alam with the same price rate not to mention the hotel name, but with bad facilities and housekeeping. Excellent speed for...

Disapointed with the coordination between hotel recept and guard. We came in late to the hotel. I have already informed agoda and hotel via email but wasn't told that the reception closed at 11pm. We reached ard 2am in the morning and upon arrival was surprised to see that the reception was closed but was attended by a security guard on duty. I showed him my agoda hote...

We had a funeral to attend in Shah Alam, so chose this hotel so that we can come back and leave early the next morning. I have no complains about this hotel since I only went in to shower and sleep. And og, I appreciate the famous dim sum restaurant below this hotel.

Very strategic location very near to Hospital Shah Alam and UiTM Shah Alam Main Campus. Very clean. Non smoking room. Has its own surau at level 3. However, room very small. Not suitable for small family. Not lift also, not suitable for people who has problem with joint and mobility. Overall. Its a good place to stay.
Cheap places to stay in Shah Alam

It is pretty hard to get a super cheap hotel in Shah Alam (unlike hotels in KL) especially for weekend husband-wife like us who are not looking for a high end room but just a comfortable stay to spend the weekend together. Among the setbacks that we had is the location of the hotel as per the address in our printed hotel voucher which has led us to another place (lucki...

Room was clean and properly maintained...value for money. Nearby to major highway. There's a Sky Bar at rooftop and a Chinese Restaurant attached to the hotel. Free and limited parking lot available. There's a few restaurants(Chinese/Malay food) located opposite of the hotel. 15 minutes drive to Lake Kota Kemuning and Gamuda Walk.

when i checked in on last saturday, there was only one staff working! she is the only receptionist, she did the housekeeping, she did everything by herself. and there are 3 famil8es arrived earlier before 2pm. unfortunately, we have to wait till 2pm untill we are able to check in. because she has to ready the rooms for us all. it was a pity for her and long waiting tim...

I'm feel happy and comfortable during my holiday in Hamilas' hotel because it's facilities very good and luxurious.Besides, the room and bed provided seem likes 5 star hotel. If I came to Shah Alam again, maybe I will booking Hamilas because it's comfortable, luxury and tidy.

I spent more than 40 mimutes circling in the same area for this hotel. Please make it clear that Zen rooms is inside M Avenue hotel. I arrive late at night after a long journey hoping to get a rest. Located in good business area. Eateries are just a walking distance, suparmarket is just 5 minute drive. Nearby Shah Alam city centre, for us to enjoy almost everything. The owner is always there at the front counter, just share anything. What else to expext. And booking thru Agoda is awesome, always the best price.

Chose to stay there to be close to Shah Alam Stadium where I took part in an obstacle race. Many eating places nearby, a shopping mall was also within walking distance. Had a chance to experience the weekend market on a Sunday morning; a busy place where cheap items could be bought. Wouldn't mind staying there again if need to stay at Shah Alam.

great location. near to everything in shah alam. the hotel resides in the heart of shah alam area. enjoy great sea food with great bargain at a pleasant ambient restaurant. for student, mara technology of institute is just 10 minutes away from the hotel.local fruit, (durian) is easily accessible around the hotel.really love the hotel and will come back soon.

The place is very spacious, it have sufficient bed + additional bed to cater for 9 people in my group. There is free coffee which is good. The place is very clean, nice interior. Very easy check-in process using lockbox to retrieve the key. The host is very accomodating and friendly. Highly Recommended to other traveller.

The owner must be one of the most accommodating owner in Agoda. Quick to respond in all my queries, gave me tips on where to visit, and went beyond by allowing us to leave our luggages much earlier than the allowed check in time and sent someone right on time when we needed to check out early to catch our flight. Everything was a breeze because of this. The unit is cl...

I found a scarf (maybe from the previous customer) left under my blanket when I checked in. I haven’t been told that the hosts are living under the same roof so we were quiet surprised for that. The host told me that they could make us breakfast but ended up we bought breakfast from the outside by ourselves.

Overall, the room is ok as it is quite cheap. However, the room's picture showed a white-linen queen bed with one sofa bed but when we checked-in, it was not white-linen bed and there's no sofa bed in sight. When asked, the owner said the sofa bed is currently being fixed. Owner should have changed picture in Agoda to not deceive customer.

My family was happy when staying here. The pool is suitable for small children and adults as well. This facility is enough to accommodate small and medium sized families. The famous I-City is just a short walk away. The missing part is a map of directions or arrow at Ground Floor to show the path to the I-City park. The service that needs to be fixed is to provide inte...

My confo is suppose to be apprtment AA-07-17 which can cater for 6 to 8 person but was given another apartment 10-02 which can only cater for 4. Hence, I have to call Agoda and the Agent at I-CITY, but the Agent claimed that Agoda's information was NOT properly communicated to them. We have even called Azrul at 60-0134664818 but this guy already left the Agent and this...

A great escape from KL city center. Places like I-city is a great place to visit for family with young and old children with attractive attractions.
If you like to see factories and houses this is the place. If you like to eat at non aircon shop houses serving local food this is the place.
Shah Alam is a big city and was divided into many section. All types of food can be found at different section of Shah Alam.
Its quite a busy city, but have its own recreation place to relax your mind. Varieties of food can be found here
Featuring a complete list of amenities, guests will find their stay at the property a comfortable one.
Shah Alam is the Capital City of Selangor with almost no nightlife. HOwever, if you are looking for nature you can visit places like Taman Pertanian.
The traffic is not as bad as KL,you can drive from one place to another in Shah Alam without thinking of paying Toll.
Not vibrant and not as touristy as KL. We did not explore any shopping malls at all, hence, we cannot say anything about shopping in Shah Alam.
Quite place but for malay women it is place for them because there is a lot of hijab shop etc for them to shop for their needs.
I city is very nice but difficult to get taxi at the night time and the taxi driver always charge in the high cost
Peaceful and quiet place but boring because no night outlet allowed in this City... Means no beer and alcohol allowed.
It is basically an administration city for the government of Selangor and the nearest tourist attraction is only "I City" which is 20 minutes away from the hotel.
a beautiful city with good traffic, many shop lots, many restaurants available and recreational places
such a good city for student life..got many things offered here for us as a student. dining area are affordable too
nice place to stay..very peaceful suroundings.recommended to all family to bring their child for sightseeing have a few atrraction place to visit and shopping and leisure time.
The city is very calm, there was no traffic jam. The people are friendly enough. We think the city is okay for spend the time (holiday), far from stressful activity.
A lot of shopping centre around if you know how to look for it and also a lot of fine dining reataurant available there like the windmill restaurant.
Just 40 minute from the capital of Kuala Lumpur, easy access to major highway and airport and you can enjoy shopping and nightlife.
Plaza Alam Central, SACC and Kompleks PKNS are just within walking distance where we can get alsmost everything there.
Shah Alam have lots of interesting places to visit like the Shah Alam Mosque and its surrounding. Its best for business traveler to move around to Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya dan Shah Alam it self
It is mostly residential of the elites. Mostly Islamic events as the town circles around the big blue mosque .
a city of administration thus not so many attractions can be found here. suitable for conferences and formal events.
This is a place worth visiting as it has many theme parks such as the i-city; the wet world etc. There are many good eating places around and many shopping places.
would not recommend family of group stay at this area, it was expensive and insufficient food to have.
A decent city with lots of nice restaurants for a memorable dining experience. In addition to that, there is the I-City theme park for family to have a weekend retreat enjoying the view or having fun activities at the water themepark.
must visit: 1. the blue mosque 2. I-City Shah Alam 3. Museum Shah Alam 4. Shopping at Plaza Alam Sentral, Plaza SACC and local product at Plaza PKNS 5.
it's a institutional city. most of them are students especially at section 7 and 13. so find a way to get away from cramp of student
city centre, a lot of places to go to especially for shopping and dining. famous attraction is Kompleks PKNS, SACC mall and restaurants
Shah Alam is more to instituation for education, there are a lot of public garden, average shopping complex and lack of night activities.
Shah Alam is a clean city, relax and no traffic jammed..the food is very good, many shopping mall near the hotel some can walking distance from hotel And some about 2 -3 kilometer distance.
