"This hotel was recommended to me by a fellow traveller so I booked 4 nights at the Okay Boutique hotel in Phnom Penh. I was glad that I took his advice because this is a stylish and quirky hotel in a great location near to the heart of the old town and riverside. I have stayed in a number of hotels in Asia during my 4 month tour that are new buildings constructed and designed to look like old hotels, from a bygone era. I was astonished to learn that the Okay Hotel is relatively new but I would defy anyone to realise that. The architecture and internal finishing are quite astonishing and I felt that I was in an old colonial building full of marble and aged mahogany staircases. It has a superb top floor swimming pool and bar area with great views over the old city. The staff were welcoming and provided helpful advice and guidance. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Only gripe -I found the breakfast a little disappointing given the overall excellence of this hotel."

"This hotel is my go to hotel in Phnom Penh. I have stayed in many high class hotels but this is the one that has the cleanest rooms and the most amazing staff. They will always accommodate your requests and are always making sure your stay is comfortable. It's not in the tourist area which is way better because you're not assaulted by tuk tuk and Moto drivers when you walk out the door but there are plenty of tuk tuks around to take. I recommend this hotel 100 percent."

"We left another hotel to come here because we were not satisfied. This hotel was much better. They have hot water (not all the hotels in Phnom Penh have hot water)! Their wi-fi is excellent. They have an elevator and even help you to your room. There is a salt water pool and a restaurant (so you can fill your water bottles with drinking water rather than using the plastic bottles). The staff here speaks English more comfortably than the other hotel. The only downside is they do not use pillow protectors on their pillows (which need to be washed). Also, in Cambodia, compared to the rest of SE Asia, we found that the staff do not remove their shoes before entering your room. In Thailand this practice was held very strictly. We were surprised that Cambodians do not do the same in the hotels. It could be because the younger generation is more populous since the older generation were killed off and so many of the ancient traditions are not being passed on. Highly recommend!"

"Blue Lime has the best location right behind the Royal Palace and a few hundred meters to the Riverside Park. The building has no lift (which is quite common in Phnom Penh) but they readily assist you in carrying your luggage. Service was good and the staff very polite. The room was quite small and there are no wardrobes nor much floor space left to just spread out your stuff; but it was all well and very tastefully decorated. We had a decent-sized balcony and bathroom though. The selection for complimentary breakfast was great with a good serving of breads and jams. I loved their yogurt! They serve breakfast poolside and it was quite unfortunate we didn’t have much time to enjoy it as we were catching an early morning bus to Siem Reap but they did allow us to pack it. There are pretty loungers by the pool which is a great place to relax after a hot day out. The hotel has this overall relaxing ambiance perfect for just chilling. It’s not the most inexpensive accommodation you can find in Phnom Penh but If you’re looking for a comfortable place with great location you might want to check this out."

"Firstly if you are going to stay in Phnom Penh, the you have to stay on 172 street, its chill, it has the right balance of restaurants, shops and hotels and if you are going to stay somewhere it ha to be at the Hometown Suite Hotel. Great staff, clean rooms, a bathroom with a property shower (sort of), A/C, plus they have a small restaurant that serves everything you could want from Khmer to burgers, pool table, it has that hostel vibe without the testosterone and the bed bugs! I would recommend this place to the budget traveller or the mature back packer that is looking for quality without spending more than you want."
