Traveling to Vietnam? Find Phan Thiet hotels

This is my second stay at the hotel. I often have to travel to locations north of Phan Thiet and use the location as an overnight stop while traveling. Having tried a variety of hotels in the area - for the money, this is superb. The rooms are nicely decorated with great bathrooms. The only complaint (which isn’t really one) is the shower/tub. If you don’t like baths or bathtubs, you might not like having to sit while showering (the tub is a modern Asian style granite bath/tub combo). The location is next to all the shopping and restaurants in Mui Ne and easy to get to whatever you want. The pool opens up to the beach with a wonderful bar/relaxing area. Highly recommended, especially for the cost.

I was aware that the Phu Hai ward was the last spot in Phan Thiet that was more isolated from the heavily touristy areas, so I chose The Cliff Resort and Residences for its location. The villa looked good from the pictures so it made sense. It exceeded all of our expectations and even the locals commented on how The Cliff was one of the best in the area. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff was friendly and active. They were on top of every little thing and made the stay feel luxurious despite the price being a fraction of what you would get anywhere else. Lastly, Tung and Thanh who worked at the poolside bar were great. Not only did they have fun with our non-menu requests (we wanted rum in our freshly opened coconuts, so they recommended a ratio of water-to-rum), but they were also helpful. One of our group has a deathly allergy to seafood and eggs. Thanh called in to make sure no fish sauce or any similar ingredient was used for his food.

I stayed in phan thiet for 2 days,my first day I stayed in the Cliff resort but their staff are so rude and unprofessional. So I changed to this hotel on my second day which is the best choice I've ever made. Their service was very good. Fast check in. Friendly and professional staff. Everyone, from the house keeper to the manager or the singer in the restaurant smiled and greeting us whenever they saw us which we love the most. The breakfast buffet didnot offer many choices but the food taste good. The room was cleaned and comfortable. Big and beautiful pool. Nice bar right next to the ocean offered great view. Definitely will come back again when I can

Pandanus offers everything you could want in a resort holiday. My only negatives would be the lack and frequency of a shuttle service into Mui Ne and the distance from town. Both are easily fixed once you realise the local 1 and 9 buses stop right out front and cost less than 50 cents into Mui Ne and only $2 right to Phan Thiet station. Maybe useful information to include in the Welcome Pack. All in all we would return..

This was my second visit to Mui Ne bay Resort. I was looking forward to some relaxing by the beach and that was exactly what I did. We took the train this time from Saigon (176,000 pp per trip)which I preferred over the rocky slow bumpy beepy bus, we took the "local" bus from Phan thiet train station, it took us all the way to the resort for only 35,000ea in about 35minutes. If you have lots of luggage and a family I would recommend a taxi ($25usd) I really enjoyed the selection of the breakfast buffet, omelette, pancakes, soups, Vietnamese dishes, meats, salads, fruits, selection of patisseries. I didn't appreciate the other greedy guests taking platefuls of the same dish, or the home made yogurt, because it meant there was not enough for everyone. Lunch menu offers a tasty selection of 20 or so western dishes (145,000 for a burger) and 20 or so Eastern Dishes (70,000 or so for a Vietnamese salad). The seafood market each evening was a real highlight for dinner, the prawns clams, muscles are so fresh and delicious and cheap! I would recommend taking your bikini or speedos as shirts and boardies are not permitted in the pool as some of the customers don't shower of the sand from the beach before going in the pool this causes it to be dirty. I really appreciated the staff remembering me and welcoming me to the resort again, the staff try their best and perhaps English or Russian is expensive to learn in Phan Thiet so be patient and considerate as some staff have better language skills than others. I could see other guest frustrated and at times speaking inappropriately to the staff. If I could change one thing about the resort It would be the rude customers with bizarre attitude "this is a resort so it must have everything I want right now and 3 towels per person per day" attitude and ask them to leave. Enjoy the lovely beach and gardens the way it is and have a relaxing holiday. :-)

terracotta resort is an oasis of relaxation amid the chaos of vietnam, we stayed in a garden view bungalow which was very spacious, had a large open style bathroom, and a nice outside area to relax. the whole resort was spotless and very well maintained with a large pool area right by the beach. the breakfast was the best we had anywhere in vietnam, with a great choice both eastern and western cuisine.

I have been coming to Mui Ne for many years and stayed at many different resorts and always Mia/Sailing Club is the top as far as service and quality. The new redesign of the resort and bungalows is very nice. We ended up barely leaving the resort as unfortunately the rest of mui ne and phan thiet beach area continue to be a mess. Great getaway from HCMC and the staff there especially is truly a pleasure.

First, Victoria Phan Thiet is one of the largest seaside resort in Phan Thiet so we have places to go around after meals. It has small orchid garden and a small tropical garden in the premises. You can get the feel of Indochina when you stay here. Second, Victoria has bungalows only so the size of the room is very comfortable. I stayed 1 night in Garden view bungalow and 1 night in Beachfront Bungalow. not too much different for the view thought. But all of them were clean, tidy and smell nice. Third, the staffs here are so lovely. They answered all my called, requirements nicely and really helpful. For information, you can contact to the reservation department in Ho Chi Minh by Skype, they will reply in minutes. A minus is about the beach. Well, It can't help much. It is because of the location. Phan Thiet beaches are the same. If you go for nice beaches, you should go to Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc then. Generally, I love it and will come back here again.

My girlfriend and I had a very enjoyable stay at Allezboo Beach Resort and Spa in Phan Thiet. This is a new resort hence all facilities and amenities looks clean and pristine. The service staff were exceptionally friendly, which we feel is typical of Vietnamnese. They were prompt to our response which made our experience a pleasant one indeed. One area that requires improvement though is the prices for a day tour in Mui Ne, which is marked up by close to twice the street rates by the hotel. On the same note, it would have been better if there were more than 1 masseuse on duty so that they can handle and bigger volume of customers.

- very clean room & bathroom - nice view - spacious - staff is friendly - good breakfast - common area without air-cond being turned on - we need to travel from hotel back to Phan thiet train station, there was a staff told that we could travel by bus however at night, we double confirm with another staff he mentioned that cab is the only option and we get quite confused.

We are a family of 4 and satisfied with this hotel. Staff is very kind and helpful. We are very appreciated for the help to arrange car pick up from Phan Thiet Station to hotel and back when we check in & out. The room is an apartment, very big and clean, with kitchen if you want to cook. The beach is clean and surrounding is quiet because it's in the middle of Phan Thiet and Mui Ne downtown. But also because of that, it's a bit far away by walking if you want to visit some places else. You can go by taxi around 3 km, or around VND 70,000 to Mui Ne downtown where you can see the market, convenient stores, and plenty of fresh seafood restaurants. The breakfast in hotel is also good hearty at this cost level. But in our day 2 due to customers are not many so they change to breakfast menu a la carte instead of putting everything outside. We are a bit disappointed.

It is probably one of the cheapest villa with private pool in Phan Thiet. Furthermore, the infinity large pool facing the ocean is awesome. The breakfast and food in the restaurant is decent. The staff is nice and very friendly, they even give us a birthday cake free of charge, which is delicious as well. However, it is quite far from the food center of Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, where you should go to enjoy seafood (much cheaper and more option than Romana offers). Besides, there is a few creeping worm in the nature-bathroom that may scare you in the night.

We have enjoyed staying at the Saigon Muine Resort. It is a very clean resort located at a very beautiful beach. The breakfast buffet is abundant and the food at the restaurant is nice. If you want to eat outside, there are plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance. The only thing which has annoyed us somewhat was the fact that we could not do a bycicle tour because all bycicles have been out of order and nobody seemed to care about that. A tour along the seaside to either Phan Thiet ot Muine would have been very nice.

It's a great place for family get-together. I prefer to stay at this villa than hotel room. Everyone can spend time together in a family room at night instead of their own room at hotel. If we go to Phan Thiet we always stay over here. Breakfast is food with lot of choices. There is a very good restaurant located inside Sealinks (I forget the name, maybe Ocean). If you don't want to go out, Ocean is a good choice, good food and not too expensive. We usually take a train to PT. If we want to go out for dinner on NDC St, we pretty much pay about 85,000 VND for taxi. I think taxi service around NDC is very expensive. Maybe because the guests don't go further than NDC St so they charge by trip, not km.

The resort is situated in the middle of nowhere. We actually had to find out how to get there, as it is not easy... (just get a way to Phan Thiet, either bus, train, etc and then a cab from Phan Thiet to Ke Ga). The rooms are awesome. Large, with a magnificent bed and a good bath/shower. The service is also amazing, almost private-service like. you will get a decent fruit place once you get there and a bottle of complementary champagne. The food is very, very good (although a bit pricey). To be honest, the food is one of the best I had in a Asian Hotel / Resort. Everything from the club sandwich to the Beef Tenderloin was very good. The pools are amazing and the good service remains there. Overall - for us it was an amazing place. We loved it, had an amazing time. Really relaxed and got sun burned. Will go back for sure sometime soon.

We had a great stay at Villa Aria, and would highly recommend it to couples and those seeking a quiet, relaxing experience. The pros: - Rooms are very nice, clean, modern, comfortable. The Superior Room is perfectly nice though it is the lowest level. - The staff here, including the manager, are among the most genuinely friendly hotel staff we have ever met (and we have stayed in hundreds of hotels from 1-5 stars around the world.) The staff are also very professional and strive to please customers. - The resort's food is also really good, very healthy tasting, and surprisingly affordable for a hotel/resort. - The beach in front of the resort is about the best you'll find on the whole long strip of Mui Ne. The water was generally clean, as was the beach, and we swam in it every day. The kite surfers were occasionally annoying, choosing to get way too close to swimmers at times. The cons: - This small resort (roughly 25 rooms) was generally peaceful for the 12 nights we stayed but Vietnamese tourists and families come and go often and many were quite loud and didn't manage their young children well. At times it was a bad distraction to us and other guests. I think the hotel staff needs to do a better job of telling louder guests to be more respectful for everyone else. - The front desk staff gave us incorrect info about the bus back to Phan Thiet train station and it almost became a big problem for us. The hotel manager was nice enough to say he'd pay for a taxi if necessary though in the end that wasn't. We'd definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone.

We liked this hotel, the beach & gardens were beautiful, the staff were nice & friendly too. Excellent value for money. BUT 2 negatives to our room. 1......the shower had very little water pressure & after the maintenance guy looked at it the pressure was still the same, the hotel should look into this problem because all customers like to have a good shower in the room. 2.....the internet is very slow here, but that was the same everywhere we went in Phan Thiet. SOME COMMENTS ON THE ATTRACTIONS AROUND PHAN THIET THE HOTEL RECOMMENDS. 1.........Fairy Stream, forget it!! its a joke. 2.......Red Sand Dunes......forget it, its a big rip off & not worth the visit. 3......White Sand Dunes.....excellent afternoon spent there on the quad bikes & the dunes. 4.......The Wine Castle......excellent couple of hours in this place & gardens, but a couple of hours & you have seen it all.

The resort is built in the slope of a hill.....so be prepared to climb a decent number of the steps to reach the pool, the restaurant and the beach which is of course worth the effort. The bungalows with sea sight are beautiful. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is definitively a recommendation, in particular for breakfast. The resort allows direct access to the beach...in brief, yes, the Poshanu resort is a recommendation when going to Phan Thiet or Mui Ne.

I have stayed at the PArk Diamond Hotel in Phan Thiet for a few times. I like the location. It's only a minute or two walk to the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was speedy and the room was large and clean. Breakfast was very good, we enjoyed it. We would stay at the Park Diamond Hotel again when we come back to Phan Thiet. We would recommend this hotel to anyone that like to stay near the beach and still within walking distance to the city centre.

We stayed a little over a week in this hotel and it was a great experience. The staff is always friendly and ready to help you. The hotel has many activities to do, mainly we did tennis and golf and chilling by the pool after walking in town or coming back from a tour. The breakfast is really good and the options for lunch and dining are wide and good quality as well. The place has a wide variety of wines as well. Only downside of the hotel is that you need to take a taxi to reach the bars-restaurant street. In general is a great place to stay and we would definitely stay there again in our next visit to Phan Thiet/Mui Ne.

We felt surprised after checked in at Full Moon Village for our 3 days 2 night trip at Mui Ne on March 2016. The villa was stunning with its spacious living hall , full equipped kitchen bar, in house & outdoor Jacuzzi ! Varity buffet breakfast meal & nice dining environment which is just facing on the beach. The mango shake & Vietnam coffee are taste good & reasonable price. Good place to chill out in the restaurant for our lunch & dinner meal. There are free shuttle bus from Full Moon Village to Mui Ne (half hour journey) and Phan Thiet town (1 hour journey). The staff will provide you the shuttle bus schedule during your check in time. Excellent service, helpful & friendly staff ! There are massage service upon we make a request. The massage fee around VDN300,000++ and you can having it at your own villa & even at beach area ! Peaceful and private paradise to stay in with great service from Full Moon Village Resort! We had spent a relaxing & pleasant stay & it is worth for money! Highly recommended of Full Moon Village!

Have visited Vietnam many times. My son, who works in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City-Saigon)takes all his visiting friends to Phan Thiet and stays here. Everyone has raved about the fantastic service and extreme privacy. Has everything you need for a fantastic stay. If they don't have something you want, just ask, and if they can, they will get it. Would strongly recommend.

Room AC didn't work well. Except for us, patrons were entirely Russian on package trip, rudest people on the planet: cut in front of us in buffet line, and, most infuriating, would "stake their claim" to a poolside chaise first thing in the AM by placing a towel on it. Then they would disappear for lengthy periods, rendering the chairs useless to others. I fault the hotel for this, as they have no policy in place. Another minor pain was the absence of a bartender when the bar was open. Throughout the day I had to hunt him/her down to get a beer. Drinks were pricey for VN as well! The "gym" was pretty poor too, lousy eqpt. I can say one positive thing: the bellman was friendly, helpful, and spoke English very well. The physical facility was very nice and well maintained, and the breakfast buffet was good. Beach was nice, but quite a bit of trash on it. Could have stayed much cheaper closer to Phan Thiet at a facility of comparable quality, with MUCH easier access to restaurants, bars

Seems like I am the first reviewer, so will be detailed. Hotel is located between Phan Thiet and Mui Ne, closer to second, so this area is more quiet - less hotels, restaurants and tourists. Hotel has 2 buildings - hill side and sea side. Rooms Standard and Deluxe pool/sea view - are on the hill side. To get to the sea you need to cross the road and walk for about 3 mins. That area has small pool as well. Rooms Deluxe/Deluxe beachfront/Beachfront bungalows are located on the sea side and the pool is really great there. The deluxe beachfront room is large and light, with big bathroom, split aircon and balcony overlooking the sea and the pool. The furniture and doors are a bit worn out but generally ok. Breakfast is in the restaurant cross the road and is good, though choices are very limited and mostly same every day (only potato side dish and noodles change). Laundry as all other services are a bit expensive - better use one in the travel cafes - there are plenty just next door. Laundry around $1 per kilo, motorbike rental - $5 a day. Staff is very pleasant and helpful, the room cleaning service is rocket speed - just put the "clean my room" sign before going to breakfast and when you come back - it's all done. However the English of all the staff is 2/10, so it took me some time to ask for a simple thing like power adaptor or extra pillow. Overall hotel is nice, however haven't been to others, cannot compare.
