Myrtle Beach (SC) hotels & places to stay

The hotel was covered in roaches, staff was very rude.

Room smelled, sheets didn't look changed, fridge was hot, no heat an scared to use the so call stove it looked broke one of the eyes was off, broke or just uneven. It

The cons for this hotel is everything was stained , the cabinets were almost off hinges it did not look like the pictures of the room that I seen .

Quickly, 1) hotel parking is off site. 2) No in room coffee, unless you bring your own. I read a LOT of negative reviews, but really it wasn’t that bad. The rooms were huge, the beds were comfortable, and everything worked. There were some things that could have used an upgrade, but all in all, given the location I’d totally stay here again. It definitely wasn’t a “resort”, but for being right on the beach it was worth it to me.

The Sun & Sands were going through renovations/updates at he time of our stay. However, this place was quiet, convenient and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Overall stay was really great at the Sea Dip. The ladies at the front desk was always willing to help if anything was wrong. Would definitely come back again to the Sea Dip.

Staff willingness to assist me and accommodate my family beyond the wrecklessness of the third party booking agency.

We were there for 4 nights and 5 days, our room was cleaned once the entire visit. I had to go to the front desk and ask for towels/wash cloths. Our trash was over flowing because no one came to empty it. The towels we were given were dirty.

Nice location, they only clean your room every forth day. When your on a beach it should be done daily. We were on the top floor, pigeons were on our balcony all the time, not once did anyone clean the poop up. Made our balcony useless. Had a water stain on the ceiling $5.00 worth of paint would have taken care of

Very clean to be an old hotel. Good location downtown and beach access on the property was convenient. Good value for the cheaper rates.

This hotel is at a great location, close to the beach, oceanfront room view was excellent. Room was clean, but not spotless. Bathroom was old and dated. Business trip, use to live in Myrtle Beach. Needed to take care of few things I now live overseas. Very nice ,great location, and exceptually clean. I would stay here again

No issues. Great location and the room was clean. There was a little odor but nothing a cracked window didn’t fix. Staff was friendly. It was a short trip-1 night- so it was worth the value.

I was very pleasantly surprised ! Even with renovations going on while I was there the staff and facilities were amazing ! Could not have asked for a better vacation. Very clean & staff went above and beyond. The valet service was well worth the extra money too .

Some of the outside facilities need updating but for the value I thought this place was a steal. Saw some bad reviews online and was nervous to stay but it was a homerun for me. Smelled amazing throughout the complex, very comfy bed and linens, and cozy clean room!

I paid for a ocean view room and was placed in a street view room with no option to change . Because it was booked on this web site and not directly thru the hotel you only get what the owner wants to give ( book you ) in.

New new new! New rooms are amazing. A little nosey because some rooms are still getting the works. Carpet in hallways are filthy but I guess they'll be changed too.
