"this hotel gives very good value to its customers .the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the service is very prompt if you find anything not quite right. the staff are very friendly and helpful , you only have to ask , and it is attended to right away .i have stayed there many times , and i would highly recommend staying there to anyone . there are good and bad hotels in manila, but book this one and you will not have any regrets . take it from a fussy Englishman. i travel all over the world , and this hotel gives very good value . i am more than happy to stay there whenever i go to manila . just one thing though , don't use the hotel taxi , it's expensive . "Apart from the rather sluggish wifi connection, the hotel exceeded all my expectations. The room was great, breakfast spread was filling with great variety, and the staff (especially housekeeping and front desk) were prompt, attentive and quick to serve. I have stayed at several different hotels in Manila and would highly recommend St Giles. It's also a stone's throw away from the night life. But if you have guests who drive, then be prepared for a rather narrow, small and very limited car park."

"We have stayed in a standard room during October. Room was nice, clean and well maintained. TV is old but has dissent channel selection. So for Standard room is actually was nice. Our room was located near the elevator, but we could not hear it. On the downside, for me, I can mention only air-conditioning which was really freezing even at low fan and 24deg. WiFi is relatively fast to what I have seen in Philippines. In the lobby with good signal strength I was able download at 0.17Mbps. Breakfast is Filipino style with western touch like eggs, bacon, cereals, milk, juices. Location is probably good, why probably? because at night we were suggested not to go out. But there are embassies near by and other good hotels. I think in general in Manila, if you are foreigner, it is better to use taxi from point to point and not walk the streets. Taxi drivers always locked the doors and sometimes asked not to open windows... If you can, leave Manila for the end for your trip and don't spend much time there. Philippines have much more to offer outside metro Manila. So overall price was good, service ok and location not so bad"

"Location was very ideal for people wanting to go see the sights and sounds or Manila. Also walking distance to US embassy, St. Luke’s extension Clinic, Robinson’s Place, Manila Bay, etc. Clean rooms, very spacious (value for money right there), welcoming and helpful staff. Only downside was, from the room I stayed in, you can hear the party party outside from dusk til dawn. But I still slept through it thank goodness. But all in all, very nice experience. Didn’t wanna leave:)"

"I have stayed at numerous Manila hotels in the past 20 years on my way to and from a second home in Cebu from NY-USA. For me a small, efficient and affordable accomodation convient to NAIA such as the Eurotel Pedro Gil is fine, especially if you are traveling solo. Wouldn't recommend for families as rooms are smaller sized on the order of the old European hotels of the post-World War II era. "

"It was raining hard in MNL when we arrived, the inn that I previously booked unfortunately released the rooms and I was so disappointed! Good thing there are vacant rooms in Manila Manor Hotel that offers affordable rate. I immediately did a reservation. The staffs were very approachable and helpful especially the directions of the places we want to go. The service is very good too. Thank you for the feeling of home and comfort. Till' next time. "

"This is a great airport hotel in Manila. The domestic terminal (Terminal 3) is right across the street (can't walk to it, however). Terminal 1 (international) and Terminal 2 (Philippine Airlines) is just down the road. As long as traffic isn't bad, it should take too long to get to T1 or T2. A free airport shuttle is available on-the-hour 24 hours a day. Note that there is a separate bus for each terminal. The hotel is also right next to Resort World and Casino, which has a shopping mall, casino, and slew of up-scale restaurants. A 7-11 and McDonald's is also at the base of the hotel. Check-in and out was very easy. The staff are very helpful. They even helped me print a document for free. The rooms are a bit small, so if you have a lot of baggage, the room might feel a little cramped. The internet is ok for Philippine standards. The only major issue with the hotel is the noise. With major construction on one side and busy roads on the other sides, it's not the quietest of environments. A high floor room might be better. Overall, it's a nice hotel that feels new and modern. I'd stay again. Once all the construction is done in the area, it will be better."
