Where to stay in Central Coast
Central Coast hotels & accommodations

Could not have been happier with all aspects of our stay. The hotel provided exactly the type of room we asked for - high up and central to maximise the superb view. The apartment itself was superb - large area, king size bed, large living area, balcony with table, chairs and loungers. Well equipped kitchenette. Absolutely stunning views over the pool, the beach a...

We used to live on the Central Coast and stay at the Crowne Plaza for special weekends away. Now when we visit we still stay at the Crowne Plaza as it remains one of our absolute favourite hotels anywhere. Crackling log fires in the Lord Ashleigh Lounge in winter, fabulous spa and pool, wonderful food, 5 star service, and the most awesome views of Terrigal Beach and Th...

We arrived at midday and were given our room, checkin took no longer than a few minutes and the staff were wonderful & smiling. Room on the 4th floor had an amazing view of the ocean & river across the road. The room was quite large with a larger fridge, microwave, hotplates and kitchen area. Good size lounge area with a sofa bed, large flat screen tv and a nice dinnin...

The rooms have been tastefully refurbished, and the big doors opening onto the balcony will be fantastic during summer. Beds were comfy, and sofa bed made up ready for my son. Kitchen facilities were good. Bathroom ok, could benefit from update. Best part, was the heated swimming pool. We went for a swim at 7pm (June) and it was like getting into a big warm bath, ...

i would recommend this clean and tidy hotel to everyone who has plan to for a short stay in central coast ( gosford ) the great location is def added the value of this small hotel. as is just a short drive to the sightseeing and beaches surrounding. my husband and i just love the simplicity of this hotel.

We have stayed at many Ibis hotels around Australia and the world and have never been disappointed. The Entrance Hotel is annexed to the RSL, access is direct which is very convenient. The Diggers has larger signage and we drove past not noticing the IBIS signage. An Excellent stay, room very convenient with helpful reception staff.

Great place to stay with my huge greyhound cross. The lake is just a two minute walk away, or you can head to the nearby dog-friendly off-leash Shelly Beach. It's also a 15 minute drive to Tuggerah Off Leash Dog Park - the biggest one I've ever seen. Grab complimentary breakfast in the kitchen, then get a great coffee at Common Ground Kitchen up the road. A great place...

Location, location for the Highland Dancing at Niagara Park. We did find the kitchen area a tad difficult.....not alot of room to do things with all of us...I think the rooms need a make over...maybe they are a tad tired but we were reasonably happy with the room, service and location. Would like to stay there again next year - this will be our 4th year - but a coat o...

Firstly the office manager was lovely and kind, the Motel was quiet, the AC quite noisy unadjustable fan stayed on high. The King room is a standard motel room with some unnecessary furniture making it cramped. The door does not fit and light shows through all around, needs painting, the lock barely reaches into the frame, the chain lock is missing its latch, door rep...

Cons:/ i sent an email to contact them about changing dates., I had booked it for Daturday and I emailed them Wednesday afternoon. They claimed they emailed me that they did change it. 1:/ i did not receive an email. 2:/ they emailed the morning I arrived there, so they apparently emailed Saturday morning that they had changed the dates but I was already up there by S...

Nice place, very outdated style wise. Does require a makeover, even more so at the price you pay to stay there. Possibly look at other cities and what they charge for what they offer. I stayed in a hotel in Perth with more updated facilities for half the price of here. The staff were truly wonderful though and extremely friendly. Just the heater hardly worked in ou...

This is a lovely spot if you plan on getting out and about on the Central Coast without spending a fortune. The location is tucked away nicely from the busy main streets however it is a short walk to Terrigal beach. The staff are friendly and easy access to our room. They were very thorough with checking what time I planned to arrive and that they would have everyt...

this is advertised as a cabana with its own private infinity pool(and charged accordingly). this is not the case, as in the morning of our stay, the pool was being occupied by friends of the owners of the property. the owners response was to put them down the other end of the pool. she only removed them when reminded it is advertised as a private getaway. this ruined t...

What a lovely, family friendly, inexpensive place to stay. We were here to catch up with family who live on the coast. The owner was very accommodating allowing our daughters to park in the driveway on busy NYE, as there was no street parking. The room was great, spacious and clean. 5 adults and 2 kids enjoyed a Chinese delivery meal in the room. The bed was comfy too ...

I was very much surprised about the positive experience at The Clan Terrigal and will recommend it to anyone without reservation. 1. The location is perfect. There is no need to cross a busy road to reach the beach. I had a beautiful morning walk from my room to the beach, walked barefoot on winter and it was worth the cold sand for 2 minutes while the sun rose. The v...

We often travel to the Central Coast from Sydney to catch up with family who live there. We have tried many different accommodation types in Gosford, but found this one to be great for price, location and friendly staff. It's close to many eateries too and the club is just across the road. We will definitely book again.

Smooth checkin and check out, excellent customer service experience. Very clean and tidy holiday park. Great facilities, BBQ area are spotless. Will definitely return and recommend. I also forgot my GoPro battery in the room after checkout, I receieved an email from the staff who advised they are willing to mail it out to me. Thank you! 5 stars

Better than We expected. We stayed here for 2 nights to attend a wedding. Being on the weekend before Xmas we thought the room would be booming! We read a few reviews about the noise but due to every other place being booked out we stayed there. We had some noise but after midnight its dead quiet. They gave us a hour and a half early check in for free. The Queen room w...

I stayed here for 5 nights and was positively surprised by the size and the comfort of the appartement. It contains a small kitchen with toaster, cooking plate, fridge and dishes. The bathroom is bigger than in most 5 star hotels and free breakfast cereal is provided every day. It takes a short walk to get to the beach but you trade in the silence in the night for that...

My husband and I needed somewhere to stay, while visiting my sister who lives at Blue Bay, over Christmas. Lavender B & B was easy walking distance from her home and so close to the beach and pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, were wonderfully looked after(meals great, room just right for us) in pleasant friendly atmosphere. Thankyou Lavender B & B and proprietors ...

Glades was already good on my previous visit and since then it has been further improved due to refurbishments to the rooms. The location is handy to all southern central coast areas and Woy Woy itself has plenty of things to offer. Highly recommend Glades to those that don't want to pay an arm and a leg for good accommodation in a good area.

Really good location, great pub, very popular, good resturant downstairs, lot of people go there, more people than the leagues club. Got a family room with ensuite, but shared bathrooms look quite good too. Room was fine, central to town, easy walk around gosford, across road from train station.

We chose to book Room 31 as it was the only refurbished room and we were VERY pleased with the outcome. Quiet room with private balcony and very comfortable furniture. Large TV with Foxtel and DVD plus the kitchen had everything we needed. Great communication and easy onsite key option. Would stay here again and recommend to our friends and family.

We had a great time staying in Big4. There's a playground and jumping pillow for kids to enjoy. It is also near the lake for boating. Shops are 30 mins drive if you need to buy something. The only thing i don't want is that there's no heater in the room in the first floor.

We stayed here while visiting friends. Staff were friendly answering all questions. Since we were only there to sleep the room served its purpose. The Bouddi National Park was absolutely beautiful. There were breathtaking views from the coastal track and it was well maintained.
A very quiet little town, easy to get o via the Sydney train system with Gosford Station located right in the middle of the town, and places easily accessed via foot.
