"Without batting an eyelash, Paladin tries and succeeds in approximating the hospitality enjoyed by Baguio visitors decades ago, long before the city deteriorated into a crass and congested destination. Being treated courteously and well by hotel staff in Baguio is now seldom heard about, except if one pays big money in five star accommodations. If only for the genuinely warm treatment, the price one pays for lodging at Paladin suddenly becomes reasonable. The thougtful amenities are also worth raving about. For a hotel of this modest stature, one gets complimentary bottled water, slippers, bathroom supplies and use of a personal in-room vault. The long ascent by steep stairs to the receiving area is a challenge to PWDs and certainly, to elderly guests. There is no other recourse for the receiving staff but to make sure they are polite and ready with smiles if only to soothe tired legs and frayed nerves brought about by that huff and puff climb. If only they could hasten check in procedures and not subject guests to an interminable wait as so many things had to be written down. Surely there is a more efficient, even automated way to give out breakfast coupons and get data from registering guests without making them wait in line too long. They need to rest from the long trip, or that staircase challenge."

"I haven't been to Baguio since I was a little kid and I chose to book here for our last trip. I was convinced by the nice design and overall good reviews. I was not disappointed at all! Our room on the 7th floor had an awesome view, a great bed, and a well-functioning aircon. The smart tv was a welcome surprise. Buffet breakfast was decent as well. Kudos to the hotel staff for being welcoming and accommodating our every request. Location was perfect, walking distance to SM, the Cathedral, ATMs, and taxis are easy to hail. Perhaps the only con would be that the shower has no barrier from the toilet, so water would tend to flood the bathroom floor even with drainage. And the sofa foam had already sunk on one side, so it wasn't the most comfortable. Otherwise, I think this is going to be our go-to hotel in Baguio! Can't wait to stay here again!"

"The staff of Inn Rocio were so helpful and easy to deal with. Specially Rouel who assisted me from the time I booked this place up to my request about our breakfast. Jake and Iza were also helpful and always ready to accommodate your concern with a smile. Likewise, to the housekeeping and the cook, thank you too! The room we stayed was clean though the toilet lavatory was not working well. Overall, my family have a pleasant experience with Inn Rocio. "
