Pleasantly surprised at the spacious & modern establishment. Lovely setting a stone’s throw from the entertainment & leisure centre. Safety & friendliness is commended. Missing though was the hair care & body wash complimentary items, that a traveler requires on the first night. Still, a good hotel to rest up & enjoy the wonders of the Mother City.

Good for short stays”
My son wanted to celebrate his birthday at GrandWest's ice-rink and ten pin bowling arcade. We booked in for 2 nights, to save us from having to travel. The hotel staff are friendly and courteous and there are strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols, which is great. The room itself, though not as big as others, was comfortable and the huge bath made up for any inconvenience. I was surprised that a bottle of water, which I have found to be a standard in most hotels, was not included - luckily, I always have a 6 pack of water in the car. The tardiness of teenagers, meant that we arrived for the buffet breakfast 10 minutes before it ended. I was surprised at the surly attitude of the staff here, who merely informed us that everything had been cleared. We ended up paying for a full breakfast that consisted of a muffin, a pastry, a mini salad and a yoghurt and juices for us. I had to go to the Wimpy in GrandWest, to calm the hunger pains of a teenager. Other than the above issue, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and the view from the dining room is incredible.
