Circular Quay hotels & places to stay

The Langham Hotel is located in a new developing area close to Darling Harbour and the business district there... The Walk into the City Centre is about Fifteen Minutes and about Ten Minutes to Circular Quay. It is a truly very stylish, elegant and classy hotel... the rooms are spacious, elegant, clean and eqipped with all the amenities you could think of... beds are comfortable, as I'm used to in Hotels of this class... Food is excellent - I love to go for fresh and organic produce and was not disappointed, be it my light late evening meal in the palm court or the In-Room Breakfast, all was of exeptional quality I also lived the Pool-Area, a sanctuary in the house for those seeking some calming and relaxing moments... Staff - reception, room-service, porters is amazingly friendly and helpful. Overall highly recommended!

I chose this hotel because i brought my kids with me. The room is standard in size. Bed very comfortable! The view is nothing great since our room is facing office buildings. Cleanliness was superb. Price is expected since it's near major attractions which is really FANTASTIC! You can walk to Circular Quay Ferry Station (less than 5 minutes) wherein you can catch a ride going to Darling Harbour, Mosman for Taronga Zoo, Luna Park, etc. The Opera House is right beside the Circular Quay Ferry Station. Jamie Oliver's restaurant is also on the same street of the hotel (about 15 mins walk). You can also explore The Rocks (about 5 mins walk). There are convenience stores right in front of the hotel in case you need to buy something. For someone with kids, the location of this hotel is very good. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I have nothing but good words for Sydney Marriott Hotel. And the staff are all friendly and helpful :)

We booked this hotel because of its central location, since we were traveling with two elderly people with walking difficulties. The hotel is opposite the Botanical Gardens and just 300 meters from Circular quay where the ferry's depart. The hotel was very stylish with a cosy bar on the ground level, rooms with beautifull bathroom (coming with slippers and bathrobes) and the service (valet service, reception, housekeeping)was just perfect.We didn't pay extra for bayview, but the city-view was really nice as well, try to get a room on a higher floor for a better view. We were on the 12th floor and the view was nice. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as we thought it was quite expensive (AUD 50 for a buffet), but there were lot's of nice breakfast and dinner places close to the Harbour. If you like swimming with a view, try the pool at the top floor! p.s.: we did't eat at the hotel.

The view is amazing - that's what sold it. But the locations is excellent overall. The facilities are very good (the balcony in the recreation space is great for lounging after a swim or a work out. Staff were very helpful, but not always quite as knowledgeable as I would expect from a hotel. Walking distance to the The Rocks (don't miss the weekend market), Circular Quay and the Opera House.

As one may expect, Four Seasons Hotel Sydney is a great hotel to stay in area near Circular Quay. Its close to most attractions near Circular Quay. Great view, Nice room, helpful staff. You basically can listen to piano music in lounge area. The hotel offers 5-star experience for couples. Its not too far away from George Street (its located at the end of George Street). A bit of walking is needed but fine for me. Easy access from the airport. Great hotel to recommend and the Opera house harbour view was awesome.

Having spent three wonderful nights at the Sir Stamford at Circular Quay, I was very sad to leave. The hotel has the charm and personal service you expect from a bed and breakfast combined with all the amenities of a five star hotel. We were in Sydney to celebrate my sister's birthday and the hotel sent a bottle of champagne to her room. This thoughtfulness set the tone for our weekend. The concierge staff, particularly Troy, provided great advice on local sights to see and restaurants to enjoy. Each evening we were welcomed back to a warm fire burning in the huge fireplace in the lounge. The fire served the practical purpose of warming us up after the chill of the night air, but more importantly added to the atmosphere in the lounge: encouraging guests to linger, to chat and to relax. Our rooms had balconies overlooking the Botanical Gardens providing the perfect location to watch the sun rise over the harbor. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is only a few minutes walk to the Opera House, to restaurants and shops and is close to the train and ferries. The only downside was that wifi access is only free if you book through the hotel’s website, but this was minor when compared with the benefits provided. The Sir Stamford at Circular Quay was the perfect place for our long weekend and I hope to have the opportunity to enjoy their hospitality in the future!
