"Hello All, My name is Simon. I choose to stay on the Caticlan island instead of ferry over to Boracay. I wanted to ensure I didn't miss my airplane flight due to any unexpected issues. The term 'Hidden Gem' best applies to this place. I have been to to so many hotels and you get the best 'bang for your buck here'. In addition, the restaurant located upstairs serves drinks and meals at an inexpensive price. I recommend this to anyone that prefers the 'western' (USA, UK) style approach to hotels. Good luck."

"The room was clean and equipped with the basic necessities. It was also spacious for 2. My friend and I had a flight at 640am at Caticlan airport. Staying within walking distance of the airport was wise since sleeping at the airport was not advised/allowed. However, there were no food selling at the hotel hence we had to walk a distance to grab dinner in the dark. Overall experience was good. "

"When we arrived we got taken to a different hotel, then back to the same one we started at- apparently owned by the same people. No one seemed to know anything about our booking, The room was absolutely filthy, there was no bedding apart from the dirty sheet cov ring the mattress, and there was a dead bug on the pillow. We also felt slightly fearful of someone breaking in room, the town didn't feel safe and the door was flimsy, I don't think this can even be classed as a hotel/guesthouse, "
