Where to stay in Caticlan
Caticlan hotels & accommodations

Honestly, I was not expecting something big from Candice Lucy, I thought it was just mediocre. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the staff who were busy and checked us in. I was surprised that they have provided welcome drinks which was so refreshing. I actually requested to have two single beds but I was expecting a double bed. I was surprised that they have fulfilled...

The room was clean and equipped with the basic necessities. It was also spacious for 2. My friend and I had a flight at 640am at Caticlan airport. Staying within walking distance of the airport was wise since sleeping at the airport was not advised/allowed. However, there were no food selling at the hotel hence we had to walk a distance to grab dinner in the dark. Over...

As soon as I got there, Yolanda, the owner, greeted me by name! Then she upgraded me from the el cheapo nipa hut I had booked to a beautiful air-conditioned room with a hot water shower! Yolanda is a great conversationalist and I enjoyed chatting with her. The resort is only a few steps from the beach. But, unlike other beach resorts, you don't have to pay an arm an...

If you're planning to stay in boracay better find another place than this because transportation is very expensive. You should find a olacr in the island instead. But overall, the in was not bad. People are nice and they help you with everything you need. They even refuse tips and to staff members didnt really want it and said that it's a pleasure to serve us and then ...

I stayed there with my partner in late April this year. We really only wanted a place that was close to the caticlan port and was clean. We didn't require anything fancy, just something to get by for the night. If you care about aesthetics and full hotel service then perhaps not the hotel for you, but if you are happy with the basics then this is fine for an over night...

Do not expect a hotel or inn-type lodging. The hotel looks like a small urban house. Good for those who just want a place to stay and leave their belongings. Room is spacious (can accommodate 3 people I think) but has no window. With wifi and cable TV. No shower. Encountered a cockroach and a mouse in the room, but overall I was comfortable during my stay.

When we arrived we got taken to a different hotel, then back to the same one we started at- apparently owned by the same people. No one seemed to know anything about our booking, The room was absolutely filthy, there was no bedding apart from the dirty sheet cov ring the mattress, and there was a dead bug on the pillow. We also felt slightly fearful of someone breaking...

Room is like a studio unit, furnished with everything you need, washing machine/dryer, cooking equipment, oven, microwave, coffee machine you name it! The room is so comfortable that we didnt want to leave the hotel. Only thing may be the location, it is a little further from all the activities and shops, but hotel provides hourly shuttle which is useful. Doesn't reall...

Casa Venicia is the nearest place in the airport of Caticlan. So, if you’re on a tight budget and got a plane promo, most likely you’ll end up staying in Caticlan before you go to Boracay. Casa V is a place for sleeping; an overnight stay but not recommended for vacationing as it is near national high school and tends to be crowded and noisy due to students walking in ...
