Furniture a little dated but the location is close to shops and restaurants. Rooms were clean and loved that our 2 bedrooms had a bathroom each. A kitchen and fully equipped laundry were included as well in the unit.

Went with 2 friends. Booked the triple room and it was a good size for the 3 of us. Appreciated that the rate included parking at their secured (basement) carpark lot as we drove. Probably wouldn't book here if we were getting around via public transport. One planned to swim but decided not to cause it was a pretty small pool. Not long enough for lap or half lap.

We were surprised that housekeeping was only sporadic (e.g. bedmaking, linen replacement, crockery never replaced, bins never emptied). Perhaps there's something in the fine print about this, but we'd recommend checking the details with management before booking this hotel.

Rooms were good sizes, Bed was very comfortable, shower water strong and hot and location good Room on arrival was musty and bathroom walls mouldy which had been bleached clean by day two.

Parklands disappointing ”
This hotel is old & tired. We stayed 2 nights. Reception only opens at 8am & closes at 6pm weekdays, weekends the times are more restricted. Our room was not serviced each day; dishes left, no vacuum ingredients or towels changed. The property boasts 4.5 stars but it would be lucky to rate 3 stars. You can find better properties for the same price or less.

Disappointing ”
Arrived to a very unprofessional standoffish reception, went into the extemely dusty dated rooms. Was a shame as the pictures in the add look fantastic, walked past reception staff several tines without a hello. Completed understand the pool and gym being closed under the circumstances however, and i have not marked the place down for that. I think the staff make or break a business, and u fortunately this time it means we will not return. I am not writing this aggressively and would love for the management to turn it around!

No air con in bedroom and completely airless. Tired, worn furniture and underlying smell of bleach and B.O. tap in bathroom fell off when I turned the water on. Bed terrible and I will never stay there again. Looks reasonable from the outside but I’m guessing the rooms haven’t been looked after in 6 or 7 years. Probably more.

Awesome motel”
Our stay at parklands hotel & apartments was fantastic the location was awesome in a quiet neighbourhood but really close to Dickson where there is lots of places to eat we went to the Dickson dumpling house and highly recommend you try this restaurant. The rooms were extremely large with a great bathroom and were very clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable. Check in was extremely fast and easy I would definitely stay here again next time we come to Canberra and would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
