This place is nice for a short stay if you don't plan on cooking much. The kitchen is very bad, dirty and cramped but the rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The location is amazing! Right in the middle of everything in downtown Perth.

Suitable for people without too many luggage”
As the elevator is broken… if your room is at 1st or 2nd floor, all need to carry the heavy luggage to upstairs… I have too many luggage… so it’s a little bit inconvenient. But the staff there are all very nice~ they are always willing to help. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Bit noisy but otherwise ok”
Have stayed here a number of times over the last 10 years plus. Always staying in the single room accommodation. Fantastic being right in the centre of party central Northbridge! I only ever try to stay in winter tho as it isn’t a comfortable stay in summer, as the fan supplied does little to cool the room, even at night. And opening a window you cop all the city noise.

Central location and good price. Booked a private room which was clean and comfortable however metal bunk beds very noisy with the slightest movement and open space above doors so no noise is blocked from common areas. Definitely being ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper!

I feel lucky because my room is in a strategic position, otherwise I could hear the noise of all pubs around and the contyard, so keep that in mind, we are in CBD, so that could also happen in other hostels around this area. People are nice as well as the staff. If my window had had a mosquito net, everything would have been perfect!

Can’t complain for the price we pay for a double room in a hostel in central Perth. The staff were pleasant. Unfortunately the kitchen is kinda disaster but this is because of other people in the hostel not knowing how to live with others obviously.. will still come back if we are around

Fantastic location within all walking distance of Brands Outlet, and there are a lot of eateries around this area. Just that it will be a bit noisy if you are a person who goes to bed early. The music in the courtyard will only stop after midnight. Otherwise, all is good.

The mattress I slept was horrible, I felt each spring comes out when I lay down… my whole body was sore after I got up.

Having stayed at multiple hostels, a key factor when I rate cleanliness is how badly I get conjunctivitis. Britannia is 10/10 because no dust and no conjunctivitis in the morning.

the place is good for international backpackers and not so good for local students but we had fun at the Wa art gallery as they did us a favour and snuck us in.Nice room

Affordable hostel next to the city”
It is very affordable but you get what you paid for. it`` is very close to the city. But guests are very loud and keep playing loud music until late at night. it is not a good place if you're looking for somewhere to have a good sleep. but if you're looking to have some fun, I would recommend this place

Hostel was very loud lots of travellers Too many travellers not enough fridges or shelf space I was in a room at the top of the stairs that had no air con. The floor boards were creaking woke me up everytimeceven with earplugs The location of the hostel and the price for me was spot on cheap room and 10min walk from everything If you want a cheap room this is your place
