Absolutely fantastic value, so much so we extended our stay!”
This oasis in the centre of Gili Air has been fantastic for us. One of the best value accommodations of our trip across Asia, with a delightful pool and sunbathing area and free (and reasonable) breakfast. The recently built wooden bungalows were comfortable, with new mosquito nets and soft thick mattress beds on the floor. Wifi was generally excellent and staff always have a smile on their face. Could maybe do with some music and to staff the small bar by the pool, but I suspect the hotel is in its early days still so that might come later. Its about a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest beach and the main stretch of shops, but the island is really quite tiny so I wouldn't worry about its location.

Cozy accommodation and great value!”
Loved staying at Beranda in the center of Gili Air. The staff were welcoming and the Bungalows are simple but equipped with everything you need. Bathrooms were nice and clean and there are plenty of space on the grounds to relax. Cons: Double rooms are attached to another room, so you can hear the person next door moving about easily. Also, darker shade window coverings would be helpful since there is a street light at the back that makes the space really bright at night time when you want to sleep.

A little oasis offering good access to every part of Gili Air”
I chose Beranda Ecolodge as it was in the middle of Gili Air, and I knew from my previous visit, that the middle of the island is best. In the middle, there are lots of smaller businesses who are not blessed with the seafront location, and I decided I would spend my money with them. Generally, I would book a place around Beranda's price for a night or two, just to find my feet and then find my "home". With Beranda, I found my "Home" straight away. The pool area is great the breakfast is adequate, and the price is spot on for solo travellers, and couples. I love the little wooden bungalows. They are simple, clean and comfortable. The mattress is comfortable. The bed has a mosquito net, and there is also a fan. No late-night parties, no late-night bar, although you can buy a beer from the reception. The stars are beautiful at night. Tips: Earplugs are a good idea, morning prayer is 4 am, the roosters shortly after. Go to Coco Loco Roco next door for bike hire and snorkelling.

I reccomend Beranda Ecolodge for everyone who is travelling to Gili Air. The staff is friendly, breakfast includes coffe/tea, fresh fruits, pancake/scrumbled eggs. Rooms and outside bathrooms are clean and esthetic. You can use the swimming pool and chill out area. The complex is new and loacted next to the shops or local restaurants. Three Star Accommodations for a One Star Price”
Coming here was one of the best decisions I've made. My bungalow is simple and well constructed. The bathrooms are clean and the water is hot. Unfortunately, the water can fail for several hours at a time, but I believe that is a problem across Gili Air and not this resort. Internet is good. I had very low expectations for "breakfast included." I was dead wrong. This morning I had delicious fresh fruit, fresh scrambled egg, and hot coffee. Beranda Ecolodge i a first class bargain! Lovely little wooden hunts. Very walkable to all locations on the island. The facility are basic but nice and has a lovely pool. The free breakfast is very tasty as well.

i originally booked this place thinking it would merely be a roof over my head at night. The idea was to go with an inexpensive place that also looked clean. Turns out, , the Beranda Ecolodge was where i ended up wanting to spend d a lot of my time relaxing while on GiliAir!

The compound is beautiful and the garden is nicely kept. However for the money we were expecting slightly more comfort, such as a chair on the porch of the room. Unfortunately the pool was closed 1 out of 2 days that we spent there, without any explanation or apology. There is no vegan breakfast available, not even toast. Water refill has to be done at the restaurant next door.
