This is the accommodation where I stayed when I first went to Boracay. I chose it again this time without hesitation because I have good memories of it. The biggest advantages, in my opinion, are as follows: 1. Location - It's in Station 3, so it's a bit of a distance from D'Mall, but it's within walking distance (15-20 minutes along the beach), and you can also leave from the front when going island hopping. It's also close to the Station 3 pier for sunset sailing and the famous Boracay Spa for massages. The budget market is also nearby, and there's a market in the back where you can buy clothes and souvenirs at a good price without having to go to D'Mall. 2. Free laundry and drying service - You can wash your laundry when you shower after swimming or playing in the water, put it in a laundry dust bag, and request the drying service at the front desk. A staff member will come to your room to pick it up, and when it's dry, they will bring it back to you upon request. It takes about three hours, but it's very useful if you use the service within the service hours. 3. There's a safe box in the room, which is nice. Most other hotels have them too. 4. The bed was comfortable and nice. Disadvantages: 1. The air conditioning has a bit of a musty smell. 2. The rooms are a bit damp overall. It's partly because it's at the end of the rainy season, but also because the location is right above the pool and close to the sea. If you set the air conditioning temperature too high or the wind speed too low, it can be quite humid on the floor in the morning. So, I just turned on the full air conditioning and set the wind to a light breeze before going to bed, and the bedding was warm and comfortable. The bedding was comfortable, so I slept really well. For this reason, the laundry dry cleaning service was really necessary and useful. Recommendation: To be honest, I wasn't very happy that the price was lower than the one we booked, but despite that, it has a very good service for the price. The staff are all friendly too. I didn't expect much from breakfast, just coffee and bread, but I think it's enough because Korean tastes can't be satisfied completely. I definitely plan to visit again :)

We recently stayed at Astoria Current in Boracay for a family trip, booking two nights at the property. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, though a few areas could use improvement. The room was clean and spacious, offering a comfortable environment for relaxation. The bed and pillows were cozy, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the room was well-equipped with essential amenities like toiletries, towels, and even a hidden microwave, though it was hard to locate due to unlabeled cabinets. The staff were friendly, proactive, and professional. While they provided great service throughout our stay, the checkout process was slower than expected due to room clearance requirements, which was a slight inconvenience. Astoria Current excels in its location, with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and local attractions. Im a solo parent with teenage kids, aged 13 & 16. Coming from Tablas Island, we decided to go to Boracay before heading home to Manila. Initially, we had our accommodation at Station 1 which was already overcrowded with tourists, especially, during sunset and a little far from the city center. On our 2nd day, we decided to transfer at Station 2 or 3 where the kids can stroll and enjoy water activities. I came across Astoria Current at Station 3 thru Agoda. The price was within our budget, so I immediately called Astoria to clarify differences in rooms. And so, I booked a Superior Deluxe Room, pool side with a mini dining area. We arrived at Astoria Current around 12:30pm, which was early for the check-in time. Louise, the front desk officer was kind enough to accommodate our request for luggage storage as we wait for our room to be prepared for check-in. It was to my surprise that our room was upgraded to a One Bedroom Suite, equipped with almost all the facilities you would need for your stay in Boracay. The bedroom was tidy and well-kept and was big, comfortable enough for 4pax. It has a safety box that actually works. Our room had a sofa bed and a dining table with 4 dining chairs where you can lounge around, nibbling on snacks while watching Netflix on their Samsung TV. A Microwave oven, refrigerator and a washing area were all available inside the room. Plates and utensils were provided for us by the Housekeeping. As for the bathroom, the suite has 2, one has a bathtub and the other had a shower, both had toilet with bidet. Shower, Dental, Shaving kits and fit-flops for beach use are all apart of their amenities. Breakfast has a very good spread, from salads, bread and pastries, fruits in season, cereal for kids ( on the 2nd day, there was also Taho), oatmeals, pancakes and waffles and a lot more. Staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The hotel is located a few steps to the Station 3 boat transfer for water activities and the hotel staff, then again, Louise, was kind enough to introduce us to a trusted and DOT accredited agent for the kids’ water activities. Convenience store, 7-11 and budget mart, and restaurants are all within the vicinity. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely be coming back.
