"We booked through Agoda and got a great discount as opposed to the rack rates. If you manage your expectations well (this isn't a 5-star hotel), Amami will leave you impressed and satisfied with their customer service, accommodations, and facilities. Rooms are outfitted with a mini fridge; drinking water; bathroom with hot and cold shower, hand soap, body wash; 1 double bed and 1 single bed; 2 electric fans. As a backpacker who's used to sleeping on tents or hammocks, these already feel like luxury to me. The restaurant is also good; I would rate it a 7.5/10 for taste and serving size. We tried their Szechuan chicken, breaded pork chop, fish mediterranean, bolognese, tuna salad, and roasted potatoes--and we recommend all of them! (the mango mojito and mango margarita too!) They could use some improvements on the breakfast fare though. Once, the scrambled eggs were overdone/dry and a little bland. Fabio and the staff were great--helpful and friendly all the time. All in all, a great vacation for our little family. Wouldn't mind going back!"

"This is my first time to answer survey and I'm happy to take part as I am really pleased with my family's experience in the hotel. Best value for my money. Same rate with that of those in White Beach but this resort comes with an infinity pool and is located in a quiet area. Ideal for family specially for those travelling with young kids. They also have a nice view of Aninuan sunset. I highly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Puerto Galera. They also provide free shuttle to pick you up and drop you off to Muelle port. Water activities are also available. I suggest you look for kuya Jess, hotel staff. He's really accommodating and helpful and can give you a good deal. You'll find everything you need here. Staffs are really nice and breakfast is great. Unlike other hotels that comes with cheap breakfast just to claim that they have it included in your accommodation."

"Dennis and staff were so attentive and helpful. They did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Food was great home-cooked. The fruit shakes are some of the best I've ever had. Rooms were airy and comfy. The water pressure in the bathroom was a little low and the door squeaked but nothing major. The location is at the end of the road/beach so it was a quiet pristine beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our 6d/5n there. It felt like home away from home where we could just chill (and in a paradise-like setting). Dennis also recommended Irene as our massage therapist and she was excellent. Highly recommend her if you are staying either at Talipanan beach, White beach, or Aninuan Beach (she is based in Aninuan and will travel). We'll definitely go back to Bamboo House when we're back in Puerto Galera. Thank you Dennis & staff for everything!"

"I booked it based on stars and the fact that it is touted to be a spa with great cuisine. The Spa " creeped me out" my gf said ....:( we never saw anyone avail the use of the spa. The fusion cuisine of Europe and Aisa was odd..... The pasta served Luke warm :( The sandwiches a gooey mess But... If you love Filipino food your in heaven My GF said it was the best Sisig she had ever had The pinakbet and sinigang were to die for So just stick to basic fare This place could be a five star hotel. The buildings and grounds support this Sadly the mind set of the majority of the staff is stuck in a " I'm from the province " mode "
